I've been wondering about these. They seem to have become more popular recently. Thanks for sharing these. Now to watching your video. Have a great day
Thanks for making a video in spite of your crazy hectic schedule. These colors look beautiful. It was great to see them in action. Hope your husband loves the closet!
He was shocked, amazed, and very very happy. It was awesome! It was fun to try to squeeze in some painting during a crazy schedule. Good practice for the future!
@@MirandaWatsonArt Yay! That's the perfect response to a gift! You're right, it's great to practice painting even if it feels like there's not much time.
Another fun video. Thank you. Re Pateron, you forgot to mention your awesome post cards. LOVE THEM! In my plein air setups, I use magnetic clips to hold palettes and other on. Think whenever I finally give in and the Portable Palette Mini, I'll add magnets on the bottom. Love your quick (but oh, so fun) sketch of your house and flowers.
Oh yes, the postcards! Those are so fun to make. There's plenty of space on the bottom for a magnetic clip on the Micro Portable Painter. Good idea for your setup.
Oh I got one of those nail art palettes after watching your other video and I really like it! I probably wouldn't have discovered this item without seeing your video so thank you!
Oh cool! I love that palette and wish I had bought a few more before my no-buy started, but oh well. It's making me think more creatively about what to do with my paint. 😀
Wow they do look really pigmented and vibrant!!! Loved getting to see the views around your house. I think you should paint your kitty laying in the sunshine, with the flowers in the background!! 😻
Love this! Your Golden Retriever pulled at my heart strings…at one point he looked at the house as you were describing your process & he seemed to be following along and agreeing❤❤❤ Unique palette! Have fun with it. I love the portable painters too. Thanks Miranda!
What a nice Mother's Day gift from your son and your daughter in law, Miranda! That moss green looks especially realistic- what nice pigment load those watercolors have! Hubby will have a nice closet when you are done! I love the lilacs and your house painting you created with your sweet doggo.
Thank you, Dena. 😊 I'm anxious to try these watercolors on a bigger painting to see what I think. So far, I'm impressed with the pigment load and vibrancy. Should be fun!
What a pretty set of colours! I definitely considered the Moss Green when I was picking my paints; it looks like a really useful green. Your sketch turned out cute! It's the act of sketching outside which is most important, and it's always quite challenging. I've managed a few outdoor sketches in Greece....some more successful than others, lol. My Parthenon drawing....yikes! 😂
I still can't wait to see what you were able to paint during your trip. Looking forward to that one! Yes, the cookies in this set are kind of perfect! 🥰
Yep! Don’t throw your old business cards away.☝️I have a lot of older, out of date cards and I use them for all kinds of things. I do paper crafting too and since mine are blank on the back, I can use them for die-cutting, but they can be used for almost anything, like what Miranda is showing ❤and the paper weight is usually good for all kinds of “office” uses and arts & crafts!
I was looking for some Daniel Smith colors on Amazon and saw Michael Harding and decide to search for a review. First of can I say I really love your spirit. I'm very new to watercolors and have connected with a few folks here on RUclips but you have a new subscriber. I love the micro portable palette and I'm considering to buy one. I love how you just painted your home. I love watercoloring but I'm no where near as good and I want to be so badly. Thank you for the review of MH and the portable pallette I do believe I"m making a purchase today!! Blessings!
Oh, I love hearing this - thank you for leaving such a lovely comment. These are bright and lovely watercolors - I hope you enjoy them. The palette is simply delightful as well - one of my favorites!
I love Michael Harding paints. I have the 10 tube urban set. They take forever to dry but don’t dry fully. They are sticky months after pouring in pans. I personally think they are better than Daniel smith. Am definitely going to get more tubes eventually.
The Urban set looked really nice as well. I don't mind if they stay a little soft as long as they don't run out of my travel palette. We will find out!
Hi Miranda, what a wonderful Mother's day gift. I am sorry i am late with watching this and the patreon videos. I have either had appointments or i overslept. You are so slender i envy you. I am rather obese, but the VA said they would pay for weight loss surgery so maybe eventually i will lose weight and get slender again. It would be nice to have a useful lap.
I get the “no buy” rule. For myself, it’s almost weird, I’m not feeling any big desire to even buy wcs right now. I know I have enough wc to do what I need for a good while. I do occasionally look at handmade wcs and feel more tempted. The small handmade wc sellers create some really gorgeous, unique and affordable and very high quality colors. Etsy’s the best place to do a walk-through of beautiful handmade wc goodness. But beware! 😮Temptations to buy may be overwhelming! 😉 p.s. Expensive? I thought I’d look up the prices of MH paints and I saw a set of Old Holland full pan set of 40 on Jerry’s for $1,500+! And that’s about half price! What? OH bills itself as “the paint of the old masters.” Really? Well if that’s the case and if that’s the only option for “the old master look,” (I know it’s really not,) I’ll never get the experience.😮
Yeah, it's interesting how it's working out. There are just a few things here and there that I would want, but it's not too bad at all, and I have so little time as it is to use all my many supplies, so I don't feel bad at all about passing up the "wants." I agree - the handmade watercolors are a bit fascinating. I do find that I want to try them all, lol.
I love that "quick and dirty" painting!
Love the yellows mixes! Tfposting!😂❤🎉
So fun to mix!
Great paints. Love the painting, too. Your place looks idyllic, far from noisy cities. Have a great weekend, Miranda.
It is idyllic for us right now. I love it. ❤️ Have a great weekend as well!
What an amazing place to live! Wow the views are fantastic lucky you!
I LOVE where I live. It makes me happy every day.
Thanks for sharing during your busy time!!! Fun paints - I told you that you were loved...sweet gift
Aw, thanks Deb! 😊
I grabbed the spring floral set first myself and it was such a good idea!!! Love these so much
Yes! They are so pretty. It's really a great color combination!
@@MirandaWatsonArt I'm actually SHOCKED they dried as much as they did for you. Mine are just so goopy. I love them though

Thanks, Danielle. Hope you had a great day as well.
This is a lovely selection of colors.

Yes, I need to do that!
They’re beautiful!!! I’m tempted to get the botanical set. Thank you.
They're vibrant and lovely.
That color set looks like a tropical vacation. Gorgeous!
I love them. ❤️
Beautiful colors!
They are!

Oh, good idea! 👍
The paints look so pretty 😊 lovely painting
Thank you. They seem like really nice paints, but I'll definitely need to do a larger painting to know more. I do know they are strong!
@@MirandaWatsonArt look forward to seeing the larger painting 😊
Which palette? In a perfect world, it's the only dilemma that should keep a person up at night.
Hahaha, yes, love it!
Wow the set look so nice! I definitely love the orange with yellow lake 🥰
Me, too!
Thank you for sharing, i usually watch video on my TV and i haven't been able to comment but i do watched your videos
Oh okay, good to know! Did you receive the paints yet? I'm really behind on watching videos.
@@MirandaWatsonArt you will catch up, no pressure. No I haven't I will let you know by the end of the month.
