What a fabulous gift! You have so much fun ahead of you, and I can't wait to watch your videos on it all. Watercolour paint takes forever to use up! A friend of mine made me up a palette with small dollops of all of the Schmincke horadam granulating colours and although they're tiny and I've used them alot, they still look untouched! 😂 Thanks for another lovely video, have a great weekend 😊

That DaVinci mint is so gorgeous. I mean they're all gorgeous, but I don't think I've ever seen a color so pretty that it made me want to eat it before. So many watercolor goodies.
The mint color reminds me of Saltwater Taffy, very pretty.

Amazing paints! I love the paul rubens glitter paper. The glitter isn't too overwhelming either. I wish they made that paper without the glitter as well. Thanks for sharing these with us. Have a great day!
They do make their paper without glitter! I have approximately 7x10 inc packs pf both glitter and non glitter paper!

Wow… what a great box… so generous!! I always make the same three types of palettes: landscape or mixing (split primary) palettes or a palette for a specific brand. I love the idea of an earth palette. I didn’t know 3/4 pans existed 😮.
I didn't either until she told me about them. They're a neat size! I'm trying to break out of my palette "rut" a little bit. We'll see what happens!
SO many wonderful DaVinci paints! I was confused at a re-name of Indian Yellow to Soulshine, I was looking for Indian yellow to refill a pan but it was NOT on the website. SO I believe it has just been renamed to Soulshine same pigment numbers at least. I am waiting for DaVinci to get back to me... I did order the urban sketching palette from ROSA and I enjoyed them so much that I got 24 colors to set up a full range palette! Thanks for a lovely video! Please take cafe and have a lovely day!

@@MirandaWatsonArt yep, they did re-name the color. As the ingredients are no longer mined in India, as this is the nomenclature of the original name! I rather like Soulshine too!

Just Wow! Bright red from rosa gallery is also one of my favorites so I recognized it immediately and was thrilled that it was the only color you swatched from that set 😅 and I can't wait to see how your qor palette with the new colors will look like 👏🏼
OOOOH YAY! My favorite Davy's Grey is Holbein's and that DaVinci Davy's Grey looks exactly like it!!!

So fun! Hate to tell you but the Raw Sienna Deep is that same one you hated from the Charlie O'Shields palette 😅 As I mentioned on that video, it's more commonly known in other brands as Transparent Yellow Oxide. But it's a great mixer, try it for granulating greens! And at least it's not as ugly as M. Graham's version LOL! Oh and I love Cobalt Green, but Qor's has too much binder and ran all over my palette. So be careful to let it dry -- like, for months -- before you set it on its side!
