One of the most difficult things about universities in Japan like this is getting out of your english bubble...which is REALLY easy to get looped into. Make sure you really get out there and use the language! I had a ton of friends who went to temple uni japan who never really progressed in their Japanese. Good luck!

Oh my god the feels! I went to this uni in spring 2018 and it was the best time I've ever had! This video brought back so many great memories! I remember eating in the cafeteria and the walks to family mart and 7 and i holdings (7-11 in the US), both of which had the best snacks. The cramped train rides, the delicious food, the early JLP classes, and having to wait until 6 or 7 in the morning to catch the first train because we stayed out all night. Thank you for this video! It's so nice to see the campus again!

I’m glad you’re more active on RUclips again. I missed your videos. I just wanted to ask you a few questions. Now that I’m almost done with my year at community college. I was really so for studying Japanese as my major and computer science as minor (planning to have it as a double major). But find myself wanting to linguistics as well? But the school I wanna transfer doesn’t offer it as BA program. So a lot of people told me to go to grad school for it? I don’t know what to do, grad school would be cool? But more schooling and I just wanted know what kind of jobs you could get with a Japanese degree. I think that’s worrying me most about making it my major. I know with a linguistics degree you have more options open job wise. Love you❤️❤️❤️
With a Japanese degree, you can look for a job that has to do with Japan or Japanese. What are you goals with Japanese? Do you want to be fluent or do you want to be able to make Japanese friends? If you become fluent and pass the JLPT N2, you can work at a Japanese company in departments like marketing, translating and communications/PR. Companies like Netflix and Hulu hire bilingual people to do subtitling. You can do bilingual English teaching. It really just depends on what you want to do with it. If you have experience in any other field or double major, you can do that field in Japanese. For example, if you also studied economics, you could do economics in Japanese at a company that's looking to hire someone regarding that field. Good luck! Thanks for watching :)

Lol fun video! I went to the Tokyo University of Foreign studies last year, in Fuchu, really close by to icc. A guy from ICC told me that ICC didn’t have great food on campus, and that they’d sometimes head over to TUFS for the food but idk, from your video the food seemed nice enough? I wonder if that guy was lying hahah loved seeing a bit of musashi Sakai station again too!

I’m thinking of going to a Japanese or Korean university. I know that relationships with Japanese are difficult, did you find easy to make japanese friends? One of the things that are gonna make me decide between those countries is the people. I don’t want to go to a place where I’m not gonna be able to befriend locals. I don’t want to just have other international students.

I now know why in nearly every anime I see, there are people biking. Not only is it environmentally helpful, but it's just...it's exercise and idk it's almost cathartic (as long as it's not in the middle of traffic or uphill). I would love to bike after class but I would probably die in a ditch if I tried (winding roads uphill both ways no guardrails)
