She has what so many, if not most, drummers lack when they solo: a profound sense of musicality. When you get to that level it can all sound like a technical clinic, but she keeps it musical by adding to phrases she starts, and flowing from one idea to the next. Her technique is phenomenal; her smile is infectious.

And the sound of your drum set is just... Oh good lord! Your recording engineer is a guru! So thank you so much Senri for delivering this masterpiece.
Wow- love the way SK started off with a theme, explored snare/tom interplay, even changed time signatures, maintained the groove. Her ambidextrousness is insane. She doesn't just do a lot of banging, there's serious compositional skill with this girl. SK puts together elements of Gary Chester's book, 4 way Independence, Steve Smith, a little Thomas Lang, the precision of Simon Phillips, excellent stick rebound a la Buddy Rich, and a beautiful smile. She'll go far, either with a band or solo artist like her teacher Kogo Suganuma or Akira Jimbo. I've only seen Akira live, but Senri's got that same steady, frightening groove precision. Thanks for posting!!!
no particular change in time signatures, no particularly remarkable ambidextriety, basically a spotfest, no particular precision, basically most of what you said was incorrect
For me it is not just her incredible talent but it is the beautiful spirit she exudes while playing. I have watched dozens of Senri's videos and she is always smiling and genuinely enjoys collaborating with others. I wish she would come tour the US so I could see her play live.

Princess of deep and powerful strokes. Her bf won’t lie.
