You never cease to amaze me! Being a trumpet player as well, I could never even dream of being as good as you but still want to express my highest respects! I truly and deeply admire your play. You are the best brass players in the world in my opinion! ... You probably won't read this anyway but I just wanted to say this. Thank you for making me smile through your music!
It's nice to still see Charles Daellenbach carrying on as the only original member of the Canadian Brass. Our family became friends with "The Brass", especially Fred and Ronnie (trumpeters). The group continues to be my favorite brass ensemble, the original members having chosen exceptional musicians to continue with the elite status of a fantastic musical group. (If you have never seen a live performance, they are also one of the most entertaining!) Kudos to the piccolo (D) trumpet player. I loved the 2nd Brandenburg bit at the end!!!
I saw these guys live just last night with the Valdosta State University Symphony! What a performance it was. Caleb was superb on the piccolo trumpet on Penny Lane. Got to meet each of them after the show, they were super nice, posing for pictures and signing autographs.
That moment when Jeffery Nelsen coaches the Bluecoats French Horn quartet doing the Sgt Peppers F Horn lick and goes and plays Penny Lane with Canadian Brass lol
I’ll never forget when me and my class had the privilege of going to see you guys live in Ohio last year, it was so amazing, and I’m not even a wind player! Amazing stuff
OMG! Saying you guys are amazing isn't even close to enough to respect all the things you've done! I plan to go to UNT for further education in music and this strengthens it tremendously. You guys are truly amazing.
If you knew the original Canadian Brass, you would know that the runners show the new group's adherence to their fun-loving, casual nature! They were always one with their audience.
What a show off, that Caleb! Just kidding, when you're that good, WTH, let 'er rip! Terrific arrangement and performance. Loved that final tribute to THE master, Bach, with the Brandenburg Conc. #2 riff. Hey, Caleb, is that a Schilke pic you're playing, or a Yamaha or some other brand? Just curious.
Chuck, since when do you play at the ensemble? I must have seen you in the early 90ies in Nürnberg at the Meistersingerhalle, C. B. amazed and inspired me as young(er) tuba player. And I think you kind of had a meet and greet at Musik Klier, at which you demonstrated the carbon tuba already, can that be right? Would be nice to hear your thoughts on that. Which brand and model is that?
More of life needs piccolo trumpet solos
The members may change, but the tradition of the highest quality playing and arrangements stays the same! Bravo!
I am impressed that Charles is still playing today.
Oh wow, way to make playing piccolo trumpet look easy, effortless in every way. Such a joy to watch thank you
Love this next generation of the Canadian Brass...

Same, these outstanding players and their phenomenal work gain every once of my respect as a trumpeter and a musician.
This is very nice of you! I believe you can get there! Jesus loves you!
Love the fact the solo from penny lane gets smiles of appreciation from behind him around a minute in on the piccolo! 👌
Anyone who picked up the horn in their lifetime knows how crazy this is
Not really, just the picc part
That jump on 0:52 is insane yet played with ease and such warmth🤦♂
You are SO spot on!

Bravo
That moment when Jeffery Nelsen coaches the Bluecoats French Horn quartet doing the Sgt Peppers F Horn lick and goes and plays Penny Lane with Canadian Brass lol
Great arrangement, all those complex modulations. And I loved that little Brandenburg quote at the end.
1:09 Bassoonist reminded me of Kratos, somehow.

I am enamored with the orchestra's contribution to this piece.
They look bored. What’s wrong with them?

Amazing !
Penny Lane was popularized by the Beatles' 1967 hit song and is one of Liverpool's most notable streets. 1:03
You can reach the half-mile long Penny Lane by bus still, but your stop will be at a more modern shelter than the one Paul used.
Penny Lane is situated in the Mossley Hill area of Liverpool, England.
What you will find is a normal British street. 3:03
wild
Canadian Brass!! Bravo, vuelvan a México!!
Ha! I love how they're wearing white tennis shoes.
Suits and sneakers has been their apparel for some time
I watched this live and talked with someone in chat about braces. Yay memories.
Sweet trumpet!
Damn, those high notes are fucking amazing !!

lovely, wish there was a full orchestral arrangement though, would love to hear it with a more full sound.
No need of full orchestra - the sound of these 5 is perfect!
Depense on size of hall
It's perfect just the 5 of them!
I think you're missing the point, here...
👏👏👏
Absolute Spitze.
Wish I was talented.Thk you.
Bruce Kendall well none of them woke up like that, just takes some hard work.

Ooo missed note at 1:08 , lol it's like the first time I've heard a missed note from this group.
Very tricky stuff and really just unfortunate... but remember it’s about the music not the mistakes!
@@johnnylow643 yes of course, that passage in particularly is very difficult as well .
