When you've got JEFF NELSON on the horn , you've got nothing to worry about . PERFECTO all the time
Ah, this sounds like it was fun to perform-the crowd sounded like they had a great time too! :D
I was in the audience. We did.
the horn screem at the end was A1
Bb1 to be more precise ;)
Actually An Bb2, not sure how the octaves are called in english. The Bb above the staff (treble clef).
Dear friend was not the horn but the trombone.
It was the trombone and it's a triple B flat!
I have never heard a horn sound so beautiful!🥰
GREAT hornist there to come out clearly like that. DAMN, THEY'RE GOOD.
Finally.... featuring the French horn. 😂 My first band instrument, but it never sounded like this. Lol
Jeff has such an amazing sound. I absolutely love him!
Jeff!!! Ever raising the bar!
Phenomenal as always!
I feel so lucky to have meet the horn player (Jeff Nelson) at the SICMF2016.

Horn 🤝🏼 Tbone= Weapons of brass destruction
bravooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Man his his piccolo could do the clarinet obligato!
Okay, this needs to be settled-- is it Jeff or Achilles playing that glissando up to the high Bb at the very end? Both pull faces right at that instant and I can't tell which one of them is actually playing.
I have them playing this on my channel too :)
Yes Jeff Nelsen hit them high notes

I believe that was actually Achilles on trombone screaming out that high note glissando at the end
I'm pretty certain it's Jeff actually. Looking it Jeff, it looks like he lifts during it, plus it sounds more like a horn to me than trombone. I could be wrong, but it just seems like it's Jeff

Thanks for playing this again in Markham, Ontario, Canada last night, guys! It’s one of my favourite Luther Henderson arrangements & it inspired me to create my own similar arrangement of “Walkin’ After Midnight”: ruclips.net/video/ysXepKPBI8k/видео.html
