It is really sad to read the comments. I fail to understand why is it so hard to understand that a rich country can never be friends with a beggar country like Pakistan unless Pakistan can be used in some way or has something to offer. Once it is used or the offer has been utilized what interest has one left with Pakistan. People fail to learn lessons from history or they are so blinded by Dollars that they simply dont care. Height of immorality.
Examples of U.S. "Friends". Israel (because of strong financial lobby in U.S. and need someone to kick arabs ass). Taiwan (need some kind of hold/ally in Chinese vicinity). India (world's leading market and fastest growing economy). Afghanistan (to keep an eye on Iran & Pakistan). Ask yourself, Is Pakistan worth anything to someone sitting in White house. And this all because of the own doings of Pakistanis, no outsider is to be blamed for our current state of affairs.
