He’s right- everyone who tried it, loves it! I make this for guests and it’s super easy. I don’t remove the tails from the bean sprouts so it’s something I can throw together in 15 mins and always a crowd pleaser.
Thank you so much for this comment. We really appreciate it, Paulina! ❤️❤️
@@spicenpans Hi, can I ask for the chicken powder do you have a good brand to recommend. Preferably more fragrant and less salty?? I tried using Maggi chicken stock cubes but I found it extremely salty even though I used only one cube lol.

Woohooz!! Good try using rice noodles. Happy to know that this recipes works too. Thank you so much for using our recipe!
Thanks for that, its exactly what I was wondering as I shouldn't have wheat noodles as much as I would love to.
hows the salt level?
@@OxygenPeople Well, it's Soy Sauce noodles that include oyster sauce. Expect high sodium. I didn't think it was too salty though, but I did use reduced sodium soy sauce--I prefer that taste.

Oh my word! Thank you for this recipe. I’m English and in the UK. If I was on a desert island and asked what I’d want, it would be a roast dinner and these noodles. I think these noodles are one of the popular dishes in the UK. We are now in lockdown. I wish I’d seen this recipe a few days ago, so that I could’ve got all the ingredients. I tried making it just now and gave them to my family to taste... they loved it and ask me to do it again for dinner... thank you for your amazing recipes...
Glad that they enjoyed it. Thank you so much for trying our recipe!
Thank you for this recipe! It turned out amazing, all I did was add sliced chicken thighs marinated lightly in soya sauce and cabbage. I put the chicken thighs first to half cook it with the garlic then took it out and put in the cabbage. After that I did everything the same as directed (chicken thighs were put back right before I put the noodles in as I wanted the noodles to marry up with the fat/juices coming out of the chicken thighs).
Wow, looks so delicious. Definitely cooking this for my family soon, they will love it!
This is simple yet very tasty. Always wondered how it was prepared. Thank you Chef. Cook this for my son’s birthday. Simply love it 💕

In self isolating/social distancing mode, so I don’t have any rice or egg noodles in my home, but I tried it with cooked pasta with shrimp and green beans instead of sprouts and it works well. I’m a pescatarian so I used vegetable or mushroom stock powder instead of chicken stock.

Yum absolutely 🤓🤓🤓
I love noodle!! U can make this vegetarian style easily. Use a little miso or veggie broth and sub the oyster sauce for either a little tamarind paste or Worcestershire. It’s yummy !!
worcestershire sauce is made with anchovies
Yes, thanks. Some brands do have anchovy but It’s also generic term for a fermented liquid (umami) made from tamarind and vinegar dating back to 1876. If you are sensitive to anchovy just use a tamarind variant or some miso to give it umami flavors. Mushroom broth will work as well. Some Shrooms are fishy.

Happy to have found your channel. Prepared this dish this morning. It tastes better than the one we buy in the market. I have also tried your braised mushrooms and my family loved them. Your recipes are easy to prepare. Thanks
This recipe is perfect. I added the bean sprouts later on while cooking like another commenter suggested, and it was really good. I used spaghetti noodles that I had slightly boiled, since I didn't have any fresh chinese egg noodles. A little ghetto but it still worked lol!
YAY I DONT HAVE ANY either so ima try it with normal pasta
you can also boil pasta noodles with a little vinegar to mimic eastern noodles !!!
What does slightly boiled mean? How many minutes less than packaging instructions?
@@Finn959 basically Al dente hun...so if the pack says 07 mins you cook for 05 and then shock with cold water ,drain excess water and drizzle oil ..toss them and set aside like you would for Pasta. They will eventually be cooked when tossed into the gravy or sauce or when stir fried but won't be overcooked.Hope this helps.
I would add the bean sprouts towards the end of the cooking. Bean sprouts will be super crunchy.
That would be great too. Happy cooking!
