I came here for this particular series of watch.
If I could afford a luxury watch - it'll either be this or the automatic 2254.50.00. Most people gravitate towards the ones with the skeleton hands, but to me this is timeless and never looked dated in any way. Looks really sharp, the lume is generously applied, black wavy dial, all the good things that are in my book.
Hopefully one day I could acquire one.

Bought this exact watch almost 20 years ago. Amazed that it's still one of the thinner watches of this spec. And the 20 year old lume beats the crap out of any other watch in my collection. It's pretty incredible.

I have had this watch for nearly 20 years and absolutely love it. Just discovered the box during a house love and did a video on it. Bought an Apple Watch for functionality but could stop wearing this as well, it’s just too good!

It’s my first & favourite watch. Saved up for ages to buy this back in early 2000’s. It’s very thin compared to the size of bezel. Yeah I wish the second hand swept and at £100 a battery change I wish it lasted more than 3 years but you can’t have everything. I’d never sell it.

I did not know that about the quartz movement and the ability to jump the hour hand. I have the 2254 and would love that feature but to be fair I rarely travel these days... But who does haha

It's a pretty interesting feature, haha yes it would have been relegated to dst adjustments for the past while

Why is the second hand moving at 1 second intervals? Only Quartz watches do that. A good automatic movement runs at 21600 BPH meaning the second hand should run at 6 beats per second at minimum........this can only be a fake

I'm in no way trying to condemn your comment, but I was startled at how fast you came to the conclusion that this was a fake. It IS not, as this is the 2264.50. The automatic version would be 2254.50, the downsized 36 mm automatic would be 2252.50, and the 36mm quartz would the 2262.50
I would at least do a bit of research before I jump into conclusion saying it's fake.

I've had the automatic model of this watch for many years. The bracelet is beautiful but the clasp has no micro adjustments so it can't be resized to account for differences in wrist size due to weather, changes in weight, etc. There is a newer highly adjustable clasp that can be used on the bracelet but it's pretty expensive as are all things Omega. For everyday use a rubber strap with curved ends is good choice whether from Omega (again big bucks) or third party makers.
