The best vid you've ever done, mate. And that I'm a lawyer with the exact same watch and with sincere empathy for what you went through has nothing to do with it. The depth of your character was in every single moment. Enjoy the Omega with much health, brother.
One of my all-time favourite videos of yours, and now I want the watch also, on my grail list, but I was after the new seamster 300m professional, but you've changed my mind for this one. I've watched this vid a few times, and I love it more every time I watch it, thank you for your great work. Regards Gary
This isn’t a watch channel. No, it’s a drama series and I’m totally hooked! What a great story with a beautiful ending. Hell, I even learned a new word, “indecorous!” That ex of yours was totally indecorous! Bravo!
Right on time - I just purchased the Omega Seamaster 300m on the blue rubber strap and I absolutely love the watch, the brand and the fact that I could buy it without any fuss and at a bloody good price vs the retail price - long live OMEGA!
There’s quite a few of everything here. The lovely watch photography with the unmatched backdrops, seeing Venice through the eyes of someone living there, and our favorite youtuber sharing some personal stuff. Love it!
This Omega is the one and only "luxury" watch that I own. So glad your story came full circle. What a wonderful act of kindness. All the best and enjoy your newly reacquired timepiece.
We appreciate your set of skills mr O’Malley, enjoyed the story behind the watch too. Big thanks to mark indeed for creating a new chapter in gifting you a timeless piece of history..👍
Love, love, love that watch - I have both the automatic and the quartz versions (also have a 2254.50 black dial and the 2264.50 quartz version of that as well - you could say I'm obsessed with the design). Great episode.
Another stunning piece. Quietly so. And a deeply kind gesture by Mark. Escaping from a heartless woman enables one to gift oneself the priceless joy of living. Enjoy!
It’s just blooming marvellous when a decent human being does something simple, and extraordinarily kind. Lifts your spirits; lifts our spirits. Outstanding. Kindness is often mistaken for softness . It couldn’t be further from the case. Top man. Let’s hope that we can all do something similar at some point this year. What a wonderful world.
Wow, thats what defines a man his behaviour not his watch! Hats off to you Mark. This is the very best watch video I have seen on youtube in a very long time along with a great story. Many thanks.
This one, which I bought 20 yrs ago right before the wedding, is still my best everyday watch. The look of electric blue dial under the sunlight is beyond description.
I don’t know how you do it, we are blessed to have you creating this amazing content Oisin. This has it all. Tragic tale of a broken relationship, awful injustice and loss. Set in the midst of a beautiful Italian city, with the hero of the hour, Mark, to save the the day and reunite the wounded party with the gorgeous star of the show, that truly beautiful watch, the Omega Seamaster, all accompanied with a stunning soundtrack and the best cinematography anywhere. Bravo Oisin, bravo 👏 👏👏
To be fair, most girlfriend from hell stories are interesting (as long as the relationship is over). And, I think most of us have at least one or two stories to tell.
I love to watch two guys help each other out so smoothly and with such synchronicity. Like a soft summer breeze. Perfect music. Glad you got your watch back.
Without a doubt the best watch channel on RUclips. The visuals, the music , the voice and the the story’s. Awesome stuff. What a lovely gesture from mark at the fine watch club. Top man.
What a heartwarming video! It is so lovely to know that there are still people out there that remember kindness. Well done Mark. Enjoy your watch Oisin. xx
My favorite watch I’ve ever owned! Had to sell mine at a low point years ago and wish I never had! Times are better now, so hopefully I can find one! Thanks for the video!
Every day at 2:30pm I make a cup of coffee at work, shut my door, lay on my office couch and watch a TWC video…. This was one of the best. Great outro. Closed my eyes and listens to the beautiful violin which was tied up in a big bow by mark saying all the best w that phenomenal lume shot….. I recently sold my brietling superocean to fund my speedmaster racing master chronometer and I miss the lume… now I think I’m going to have to get myself to one of these 225580s to make up for it. Keep up the good work my friend
Symmetry that was not lost on me, the homecoming of another “Seamaster” of sorts, our epic friend and Mediterranean traveler, Odysseus. A brilliant gesture Mr. Mark...Bravo!!
Another masterpiece Oisin, just lovely. Nice shot of the “electric” blue boat covers and the watch. Absolutely adore this piece. I gifted it to my son for his 18th birthday recently, his 1st fine watch and somehow might love it more than me. It’s the watch that got me into this hobby.
I came to watch the review on the seamster that everyone is talking about. I stayed to hear your story about your relationship and your healing process. I was also in a relationship similar to what you were in. My process of healing involved me diving deeply into music and my guitar specifically. At the time I didn't really own anything of value aside from vintage les paul. That of course came with me as I left and never went back. Luckily we weren't married as that would have made it even more complicated. As a fan of your channel I just really appreciate you sharing this with us. I am now an even bigger fan of your channel than I was before and love this channel even more. Thank you again for sharing
The touch at the end with Mark’s words, accompanied by the final notes of the violin, even the timing of that last blackout screen…I’m by no means in any position to judge but to me, that was ABSOLUTELY PERFECTLY BEAUTIFULLY done, so much to the degree I felt I would be irresponsible if I didn’t take the time to write all this down, if that makes any sense. Can’t begin to explain to my gf beside me why I’m tearing up watching a watch channel… Bravo Sir!!
Bravo Oisin, quite simply breathtaking. So refreshing to see the variety in watch brands. Cinematography, combined with the music is stunning. Keep up the great work Mr O’Malley!
Wonderful watch and gesture from Mark. It's so inspiring when someone can be that generous and it means so much to the recipient. I owned one of these for a short time in the mid-2000's. Unfortunately, it was a time in my life when I couldn't hold on to "valuable" watches as money was not there to own many without selling to fund others.
The same gifting procedure happened to me. My watch guy after many many good buinesses once before Christmas called me and when I was there he stood up , took out a watch from the safe and said to me: Merry Christmas Alex and gave me a golden Girard Perregaux. Touchy
Hello Oisin - after recently discovering your channel and watching a few of your videos I was fascinated by this Seamaster 2255.80 and liked it so much that I looked for one. As it turned out, a local vintage watch dealer that I know in my home city of Sydney listed one in excellent condition (rated 9.7 / 10) with box and papers! I bought it today and it is a beautiful piece. Amazing condition for 22 years old. Thank you for the recommendation and I look forward to admiring the electric blue dial within different light. Cheers, Scott.
I LOVE this video. I am in the hunt for a really nice condition 2255.80. I love the way you showed the waves at the beginning and the waves of the dial right after! Crazy good. Great channel, thank you for the content. All the best to you.
Feel for you man! Wonderful episode again. Definately watches were more elegant 20 years ago which is perhaps why most of my small collection originated from that time. Your story and the Hippocampus resonates deeply my friend. Lost loves are strange creatures indeed!
As soon as you said “I figured time went by, probably okay to reach out and say hey”…I was like…nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo (slow motion with arms waving). I stopped everything else I was doing while listening to you today. Wonderful surprise that beautiful SM must have been! Enjoy
Whenever I see a Seamaster from now on, you and your story are going to be the first thing on my mind. Great video, sorry for what you went through Oisin but congrats on finding out what great friends you have. And getting back that beautiful watch. - Han

Thanks Luis. Lydia was not involved on this one but we'll be collaborating again soon.
Appreciate you sharing your history with this watch. What a cool gesture from Mark. I'm not an Omega fan, but this watch is an absolute stunner. I love the sword hands, seconds hand, vs the skeletonized hands and lollipop seconds now. The tapered case, and even caseback are more elegant here. The milled dial is amazing, it looks like the sea. Even this wart I could deal with.
This is such a heartfelt story you told and to loose something that has sentimental value isn’t particularly pleasant, given the turmoil you were subjected to after the relationship had broken down. Give credit, where credits due, to the owner of a fine Watch Club, what a gent. I’m glad to see you have been reunited.
Great review - nice combination of relaxed, conversational style with attention to the details. Substance and style is not easy. Thanks for bringing your viewers along for the journey,
Gotta say... you do an EXELLENT job with your videos and reviews! Very much enjoy the banter but most importantly the ambiance you lend to a luxury timepiece appreciation. Thank you and hope you keep it up. Love Venice.
Your love of this watch is understandable. I have the black Seamaster version (2254.50) and I agree entirely with your thoughts on the way the watch fits your wrist and the clarity of the face and sword hands. Its combination of elegance and tool watch attributes makes it a rare and coveted part of my small watch collection. It was my first quality watch. Your blue faced version is even more special. I love your content. Keep it up!
Yes you are perfectly right . Maybe this is the connection between us watch aficionados . We believe in the characters long lost of being honest with other.
Excellent video, I just picked up the mid size "Mayol 1999" version of this electric blue seamaster and I absolutely love everything about it. I agree it's very dressy/formal compared to the other seamasters. Unique, only 3500 made for my year, that 1120 movement and that elegant electric blue color is perfection.
I have the same one but in titanium. I have also changed into a titanium Omega buckle with on the fly adjustment for even more comfort. It is a little more tooly and less flashy due to the different metal. It is perfect.
I’ve owned mine since 2000! It’s a beauty for sure. No issues whatsoever, still keeps great time and looks fantastic. I have the Golden Eye 2531.80 with the 1120 movement also. They are both keepers!
33:07 very sweet...beautiful video Mr Ocean. This really is a stunning watch. Makes me realise that many modern ones are indeed "cartoony".. I've been considering the dark dial Railmaster as I love the solid case back, the stylish dial and so on....but this is even more elegant and beautiful!
As a side note, it's fantastic to see the delights of Venice in your videos. We were over in Pordenone for our eldest Daughter competing in the volleyball World Cup competition in 2019, and managed to get down to Venice for a day. Such a beautiful city... stunning.
Even though I don’t agree entirely with your analysis, once again you’ve made a fabulous vídeo incredible intro, finale and story telling. No other watch channel campares with what you’re doing. Congratulations and thanks for sharing!
Oisin, you opened up here mate. Us folk, the watch community you must truely have an appreciation and understanding for to do so. What a beautiful gesture as I feel this watch gifted to you will be of greater meaning than perhaps one purchased to replace what you lost. I’m Italian Australian tough lot we can be, I here ya. Good and bad in everyone though. Another beautiful vid mate.
Mark I can't get over this story. You sir you are the meaning of the word Gentleman. Its a fact that it is better to give than to receive because it comes full circle. I wish the best for you and your business and Im definitely going to make my way to your online store.
Any words that I might try to come up with seem so woefully inadequate; a touching story, beautifully told and portrayed, featuring a gorgeous timepiece is the best I can manage…..
I'm not a fan of the look of the bracelet on the "Bond" Seamaster, but it is absolutely the most comfortable bracelet of the watches I own. I really don't like the look at all, but it wears unbelievably well. Great post as always.
Our man at FinewatchClub! what a top bloke! extremely generous gift. favourite part of the video is 27:34 that thin profile on the wrist! stunning. I didnt know it until i watched this video - I need one of those Omegas. stunning
Really appreciate the story. As a professional diver, I'm going to keep striving to one day be able to afford either a Seamaster or Submariner. Really enjoy your videos.
I could watch a new video every day from you... So relaxing and beautiful! I know your pain ... Been there!! Just got move forward and I know you did!! Love the videos!! Maybe next time you should include on what your working on (producing in music)...if you can tell!!!
The extreme macro shots... next video will be at the molecular level... and I will watch that video more than once too Sounds like Mark is one of a kind. I will definitely be buying from him once my bank account recovers from the double Panerai purchase - which I totally blame you for ;)
“She’s alright, she’s not as pretty as my other exes.” Gloriously savage 😂

Blue dial or grey? I just got the grey dial a few months ago and pretty much stopped wearing my Pelagos haha

Agree with you on the comfortable bracelet on the "Bond" Seamaster.
Waiting for delivery of one today! can't wait you definitely bring the best out of this one!
Some watches hit the sweet spot. For me, it's that Omega GMT 50th Anniversary. Flows like a Porsche 911. Love mine.
Love the backdrop and chat of your videos as much as the watch content.
I got the new blue smp 300m with wave dial. I'm inlove with it. Glad you got your watch back, it's gorgeous.
Amazing video, every watch has its story. Some more than others. To you, survivor and to Mark!
Our man at FinewatchClub! what a top bloke! extremely generous gift. favourite part of the video is 27:34 that thin profile on the wrist! stunning. I didnt know it until i watched this video - I need one of those Omegas. stunning
Pretty enough to wear anywhere and rugged enough to be taken anywhere.
Not much to dislike. 😊
Really appreciate the story. As a professional diver, I'm going to keep striving to one day be able to afford either a Seamaster or Submariner. Really enjoy your videos.
LOVE this story man. Truly a lovely example of giving without expectation from your friend!
Sad story, but a happy ending.
A beautiful video of a stunning watch. Very kind gesture from Mark.
Cheers!
I could watch a new video every day from you... So relaxing and beautiful! I know your pain ... Been there!! Just got move forward and I know you did!! Love the videos!! Maybe next time you should include on what your working on (producing in music)...if you can tell!!!
The extreme macro shots... next video will be at the molecular level... and I will watch that video more than once too
Sounds like Mark is one of a kind. I will definitely be buying from him once my bank account recovers from the double Panerai purchase - which I totally blame you for ;)
