Beautifully done. Panerai should not only be sending you a free watch, they should be asking you to run their next advertising campaign . That just did more to make me appreciate the brand, than anything I’ve ever seen from them or anyone else. A masterclass

Goddamn, that music is simply inspired as a choice. Such drama, perfect for this story. I can't think of another watch channel with this kind of production value. Oisin, you are killing it.
If this video does not get Panerai's parent company Richemont, and their Chairman Johann Peter Rupert to invite you onboard the company yacht in Monaco, than there is no justice in the world. At least you can take pleasure in knowing, that you have become "one of them"... the frogmen of Panerai.

So here I am 3 years later watching your Panerai video. The only thing I can think of is my Great Grandfather who was in the Italian Army in WW1 stationed in the Alps fighting the Austrians only to be taken prisoner and beaten in a POW camp. He survived and came to America a few years after the war. You've sold me on Panerai...

Always been my favourite watch brand for all the reasons in this video. I was buying them when they weren’t cool. And they never seem to be cool. When Rolex finally improved their 2 day 3135 to a 3 day 3235 movement I was wearing a triple barrel Panerai 10 day automatic with 8 year warranty with low maintenance ceramic parts. Never fallen out of love with my 323. Bravo.
The classic Radiomir for me is Panerai's most desirable watch. I'm so happy for you to own one man! This is the nicest watch in your collection in my mind. Thank you for the great photography of a truly great and legendary watch! At some point I'll throw one of these on my wrist as well and I'm so glad to have the 195-200mm wrist that I have so I can sport one.

An artist makes art regardless of the medium or the subject matter. All the suspense of Hitchcock wrapped into one of the best advertisements for a watch company I’ve ever seen. Again a very very nice Video: sound track, images and text. You are really the "Maestro" of youtube watches channels! I really want to congrats you regarding all the artistic efforts you put on your content. Maybe because I'm french, leaving in Paris not so far from italian style of life. And, of course, choosing a (very very) nice PANARAI despite the hype arround rolex and the new speedy gives us a bite of fresh air! welcome on PANERAI boat! PANERAI are so latino: complicated (many style, many references, limited ed etc..) , risky (so easy to copy) and passionate (a lot of "chapel war" as we say in french between sandwich not sanswich, arabic style, with or without original lugs, screw not screew back, water resistance, 12/3/6/9 numbers present or not etc..)! It took to me 4 years to find my Panarai (between, size, sandwich, in house mouvement, making sure it"s not a copy etc...) but I'm still in love with her (sorry in love with '"it" ;-) ).

I happened to have my 44mm Luminor Marina on my wrist when I watched you video. I much prefer my Panerai to my Oyster Perpetual.
So much More than a watch channel ,it's a lesson in research, cinematography, in video editing and that how selecting the right music to emphasise the mood can make or break a masterpiece...A masterclass...And we've all been schooled.

Fantastic, Oisin, you really knocked it out of Páirc an Chrócaigh with that one. Love the Hitchkoyian fusion of image and sound, and that lovely detail of the scavenging seagulls. Was the piece scary, or was it just hilarious? It's up for grabs.
Not sure if this has been mentioned below, but maybe some elderly British buyers might be put of by the association you stress with the Decima Flottiglia MAS. After all, we don't really want to sport a timepiece that's helped blow our Senior Service to smithereens, do we chaps? But I see it more as a young person's watch, and there are many here on 'Plague Island' that have not the faintest clue about the details of WWII. Thanks again!

“Have you ever ridden a torpedo?” 😂 You almost lost me with the 2:22 intro but as soon as the voice over came in I was thoroughly entertained. Well done. As a PAM723 owner I love that the brand owns its persona and does its own thing. It’s simple yet strong dial and unique case shape makes it so enjoyable to have in my watch collection.
On I suppose a lesser scale, this reminds me of the Tudor snowflake hands. People don’t like them because of the aesthetic. But they exist because the French Navy demanded them in order to see the hour hand better underwater. It’s the epitome of a tool watch: form follows function, not the other way around.

This is really the most amazing watch video I have seen to date. Precise in analysis, spanning from romantic history ("frogmen") to the economies of the watch world ("copying each others innovations") adressing the desires of mankind for being tough & hard ("have you ever ridden a torpedo") and even comprehending darwinistic behaviours ("become of them") and ultimately emphaize the strive to be part of a group ("Paneristi are out there"). Amazing. Couldn't get enough of this cineastic masterpiece. Really, you nailed it so smart!
