Please take notice of the cameo by the great Chita Rivera who was the original Velma Kelly on Broadway opposite Gwen Verdon's Roxy Hart.
Chicago is one of my favorite musicals, great choice!
You are aware that this is loosely based on true stories from Chicago in the 20s. Get back at Roxie, you think he should go to jail because she killed her lover? Catherine Zeta-Jones and Renee Zellweger were both 33 when this movie came out. Richard Gere started on the stage in Grease, but not as lead, but the guy played by Conway in the movie. He was a gymnast in high school and plays piano and coronet. He played both in "Cotton Club". Gere was 52 in this movie.
A masterpiece of a musical film 💯
I can't think of anyone better to watch a musical with... Fantastic reaction querida!!!
All I can say is one day you have to watch "All That Jazz" (1979), whether or not it's on the channel or off. That's Bob Fosse's masterpiece (on film).
Hear, hear! imo, the very best movie musical I've ever seen. You'll love it!!!
@@fredkrissman6527 Not one reaction for it yet, can you believe it? When the reactorsphere gets a hold of that movie......I predict the next year we will see at least one "All That Jazz" reaction!!

I remember watching it upon release in a lrg elegant theatre with good acoustics... I was mesmerized.
oohh i love this movie i do need it in my musical collection
Great job with this edit, it looked like a lot of work was put into it. Really hope it doesn't get blocked, there's nothing more difficult to get on RUclips than a reaction to a musical. The movie is great, but I saw this on tour at the Pantages in Hollywood about 10 years ago and was really disappointed with the production 😕.
This has always been favourite of mine, I prefer it over Moulin Rouge
Very nice reaction.🙂
Loving your look! 🥰
No matter how much I adore you, I just can’t stomach musicals like this lol
This is one of those movies that shouldn't have won Best Picture. I like the movie, but compared to Gangs of New York or The Pianist? No.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
I disagree Chicago definitely deserved that Best Picture Oscar
I’ve only seen the Pianist which I agree is phenomenal but why shouldn’t this have won? Musicals deserve recognition too. Everything about this movie was amazing.
Onlyfans?
