Lovely, lovely, lovely! It’s just wonderful to get to listen to the corps de ballet and see a little bit of the rehearsals/performance through their eyes. A good corps de ballet definitely makes a great ballet company.
Christopher Carr is amazing. I just saw the Nutcracker (totally other choreography and company) but when the boy started the serie of jumps I could hear Carr screaming: Up! Up! Up! Carr is marvelous!
Seriously!! He’s what I fear about being a dancer, other than injuries of course. I know he’s trying to get the best out of you but I feel I would only get more nervous..
The dancers really amazed me last Tuesday, i was extremely tired because the strike in France but it was an amazing performance even if the choreography of N.de Valois is not my favorite.Good job🌟🌻
I feel like Christopher Carr needs a couple of really close friends to sit him down and say, "Babe, let us help you sort your hair out." He's a good looking older gent, trim and fit, first rate ballet master... but friends don't let friends walk around with hair like that.
I would have thought his mastery would be what mattered rather than his hair ..... the world has moved on - what does his hair matter - it’s his work that speaks volumes -
Regardless of his skill and memory as a coach, it is obscene and disgusting for him to continually scream and scream at the dancers to somehow obtain perfection. And why do screaming men and some women coaches like this refer to adult men and women as boys and girls? This is a warped and sick part of the ballet culture and the dancers inculcate this infantile, compliant abuse.
He's in a massive room full of 10s of people with music playing, of course he's shouting! Every interview you see with him & him talking with dancers he shows up most respect for the dancers. Being stern & raising your voice does not = abuse.
There is a clear difference between an abusive disrespectful coach and a respectful but strict one who's striving for the best and pushing the dancers to reach top level. There are MANY obscene and self-centered coaches in the world of ballet, but Mr. Carr is not one of them.
I'm pretty sure if the dancers minded we would hear all about it. Some things in life aren't meant to be delicate. We face trials and tribulations every day. Imagine if everything was comfortable .. we would never grow. As my old ballet master once told me ... you have to have backbone -- or you will be defeated before you ever begin.

Christopher Carr is a dream coach, full of energy and pushing you to do your best!
Christopher Carr is absolutely incredible. His toughness makes these ballets so beautiful. You can really tell he gives these dancers inspiration.
Please, keep going! I absolutely love watch video from backstage of company!

Always a pleasure to see Ms Pajdak dancing in rehearsal
Christopher is tougher than an American football coach.
It would be amazing if you posted the full shows too 😍😍😍
Yay I love corps videos!!!
Christopher Carr is what a ballet instructor would be at Hogwarts. He’s terrifying! I’m glad he doesn’t have a magic wand.
I know Im quite randomly asking but do anyone know of a good website to watch newly released movies online?
@Curtis Juelz I watch on Flixzone. Just search on google for it =)

They don't seem to mind - that's because they know that he is working to get the best out of them. If you had ever danced you would understand that.
Did we watch the same thing? He is shouting to be heard and to emphasize the counts. He was never disrespectful to the dancers.
