Hi Dan I found my ground wire and scooter starter starts electric now tho it just went click and brake light that usually works with electronic stuff is dim all of a sudden and then gets bright is this my battery or starter solitod
Lol ! You can tell that thing is a beast he's been so fast on it the needle came off the speedo on the stop pin 😉. That was one hell of a mashed up kickstart tho'
Not to be rude I had my bike running perfect ...brown spark plug and it's clicking I took out the kick start and it's still clicking any thoughts
I mean did you replace the starter solonoid? Maybe your starter is the problem? If it's A150CC it could be your starter clutch is the problem alson known as Benedix clutch
@@IFixShet i replaced the solenoid and it kicks over slowly so might be a battery or I'll just replace the starter thanks for all the help
So it could be a weak starter or a week battery check your amperage and voltage output of your battery it should be sitting around Is 12.8V or better at rest

Pro tip some just get jammed due to debris and rust wd 40 is after taking off wipe down lube your gears and it should be fine mine had some problems because it sat for 4 years but nothing major just a few jams here and there and a break leaver threw on a new manifold cleaned the carb and tank out now no problems at all
I always clean the Bendix before putting it back in with WD-40 and making sure it's working smoothly so yes that is definitely a good advice for the people

I know it’s very unlikely that you will see this but I’ve been having issues with a jonway 2008 150cc it was having a hard time turning over. Then it stopped idling and wouldn’t turn over at all. It would only make that clicking noise. We found out that the battery is goo so it’s not that, it has gas and oil. We also found out that the previous person installed a trip wire instead of replacing the starter relay. So now it is not getting any power to the scooter at all, we bought the starter relay to install. Do you have any other ideas on what other issues it could be?
I mean I'm a youtuber so I see all comments. With that being said I can't diagnose your scooter without being there unfortunately. your problem is complicated because people have been tampering with things already.

I bypassed the relay starter and its not turning over. Can I assume it's my starter ?

It should only be 2 bolts and then pull hard. There's an o-ring that holds it in you need to pull hard enough to get the orange to come out of the hole

Hi,my Gilera nexus 125 stopped working while i was driving,now he does the same click sound,can you gelo me please?
I am having a similar issue. When I try and turn mine on, I get a high pitch whine out of the rear (probably starter) and it doesn't start most times. I can jump start it and drive to the gas station 1.5 miles away roughly 1 kilometer away. I can start it up usually no jump after that and ride home but then it wont start again. Jump starting for me works perfectly and my battery is 13.3v right now so I dunno what is going on.

@@IFixShet I kinda have a funny suspicion you are right. I started having 2 problems at the same time.
First was it was randomly slowing down then I noticed a screw or bolt rubbing the tire from the frame. It shreded the tire but replacing it didn't fix the issue.
I checked the oil and it was a bit low. I think I was about 1,500 miles since my last oil change. So I changed the oil but I accidently put a little too much oil in. It was pas the full mark on the dipstick.
After the oil change is when I started having starting issues. Doing some research I was seeing things like maybe oil got into the starter. Not sure what that exactly would do but when the battery was full it would not start up. Only when more power was supplied did it actually start. If it was the starter that would explain why extra power would be needed to start it. It would also make sense why I would hear a whine where the starter motor is when I tried to crank without a jump start. It's like an RC car when you hold the wheels. The motor is trying to spin but isn't so it lets out a whine.
What sucks is, it was so hot and I couldnt find my tools to adjust the tappet if the valve lash needed adjustment and after checking spark plug and that being fine I just kinda gave up looking at it and took it back where I bought it to have them look.. that was 2 weeks ago. They told me they would look at it next day when I called before I took it in. Next day I called and they said oh they wouldnt even try and look at it until friday. I guess it's easier to get business by lying to people to get them to bring it in. So that friday came and went. Another week came and on the next friday I asked what the deal was they said oh they have not even looked at it and accused me of bringing it in at the end of the week and it being only 1 week not 2. I was like no, I brought it in at the beginning 4-5 hours after they opened that week.
So needless to say $1,818 paid for the moped, and they are now playing games with me and essentially charlie browning me by moving the football out of the way every time. In this case its telling me false dates.
So if Tuesday I am probably skipping work, taking an Uber out to there to ask for it back on camera and if they refuse I am calling the police to report grand theft of a $2,000 vehicle. I am ready to just lawyer up and go sue happy at this point. Had they been honest up front I could have taken it somewhere else but what really is shitty is having to pay $50 a day to uber to/from work when your job only cuts you a check for $40 for that work and you have to eat a $10 loss every day that they take. Time is money and money is time. They got me all kinds of screwed up over here =/ I just wish I had waited a week for the parts I ordered rather then 2 weeks for them to dick me around.

@@scriptleshey bud , i feel you. And i hate when services lie to get business, it is quite unfortunate that they tossed your date 2 weeks. I would like to have an update of what happened. Did they fix it ? If they did , what was the problem? If they didn't, did you call the police?
I stumbled upon your comment now when i am having a similar problem where my scooter us just clicking and not turning on . Jumped to youtube to see a solution to my issue , I'll figure it out tho .
@@A-A-A-A-A-A-A-A so basically they put a zip tie on the rear fender it broke 2 days later and they destroyed my battery. They did not fix it but charged me $103 for a zip tie I had to have it towed in a truck home and swapping out battery made it start up apparently battery was faulty but they screwed me over so badly it’s been rough. I struggle at 15 mph but I’m pretty much screwed because I don’t have any money left it’s almost winter like it sucks more than you can imagine being me right now. Basically wanna cry just thinking about it. If I can just make it until spring I will be alright. But it’s really taking a toll on my mental health right now. :( I pray to god you don’t go thru what I’ve been dealing with. At the same time a cyst popped up on my ear and I’ve had to have a doctor drain it because of severe pain at about $270 a visit. So I’m hurting physically, financially and emotionally right now. And no money to put towards a car for the winter. Action cycle in Mishawaka Indiana can kiss my ass I will never do business with them ever again. I hate them with the utmost passion for all they have screwed me over.

I don't know how things work in your country, but i wouldn't pay them a cent if i were you .if you want you can tell me your bikes situation, I'm not an expert but i kinda know some stuff about fixing and im totally invested in scooter and bikes , if that can help your bikes situation tell me what are you facing and ill try to diagnose the issue, hopefully it helps.

And concerning my scooter i figured the problem out with simple diagnosis and thank god it's running.
I had my ignition coil snap on me so I replaced it, but it won’t turn and I started messing with the kickstart and I think I messed something up Deff time to take that apart too, thanks for this video

Because my solenoid is clicking/buzzing at me, when I bypass it nothing happened, I've got new solenoid and I've changed the starter motor. the kick-start no longer engages the weld has gone on the teeth of the shaft, so do u think best to just remove it?
i was riding to work one day and the scooter died on my mid ride and when i got it home, it was clicking but not starting. i have the same scooter as in this video, do i start with checking the starter motor or battery? im wondering if i jump start it mabye it will work?

had similar problem with my scooter and took me the whole summer to finally discover that the battery needs to be about 12.75 for it to turn over the engine. anything below that it wouldnt start. then I got it charged and it started right up
