- iron maiden are releasing their Cd THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST with BRUCE DICKINSON .enjoyy:D IF U LIKE THE VIDEO PLZZ SUBSCRIBE OR FOLLOW ME ON TWITTER :) @jpraad i m going to put a lot of others videos and my guitar maidens cover and my songs are coming soon;)
This track is a testament to the greatness of Clive Burr. Nicko is great well, but I like Clives playing more. He was a BEAST of a drummer.
because he was like a buzz saw,and he attacked his kit like no one else.
Miss Clive. He fit Maiden more than Nicko did. Same as Holland fitting Priest more than Travis did.
Clive was the shit.\
@@marcstevens3761 Bruce Dickson, was even better! They (Group/Music Company) did a great Job getting Bruce backj!
To sound this good live is a testament to how good this band is.
Amazing how good they sound. Up those irons to level 20
They are amazing live. Shame people see them now at the tail end and forget how amazing they are
Once you hear Maiden live there is no other. I saw my first show in fall of 82. After that they never played this track live again for the next 10 shows I saw. 1984 Powerslave was the best concert I have ever seen
its remixed of course... its live but its not live live.... its recorded through the sound board and then mixed
I will never cease to be impressed by the speed and intensity of Clive Burr's drumming, especially beginning at 3:57. It sounds like a speeding locomotive coming down the tracks. When ever my life flashes before me, this will be the Iron Maiden song I think of.
I’m down with this solid comment. That relentless thudding beat is just epic. I watch the part you referenced many times!
Adrian's solo tears my heart out every time
Adrian said that this was the solo he was most proud of. Pure blues.
Maiden in their glorious prime. Nothing like early 80's Iron Maiden.
The prisoner, in my opinion is a top notch Maiden song! Everyone is at the top of the game back then. R.I.P. Clive!
RIP Clive Burr!!! You're a free man, up the irons!!!
Clive was awesome. R.I.P. Great song too.
My fave iron maiden song of all time
doesnt sound as great with Nicko ,, So much better flow with Clive , this 5 piece set was the best maiden lineup in my opinion :)
This performance was solely dominated by Clive.
No doubt, he was Maiden's best drummer.
Miss you Clive
😓
RIP Clive.. you gave us so much in such little time
This will always be the classic lineup. Long live Clive!
Clive was a fantastic drummer! Rest in peace!
RIP Clive😪.you was a genius🙂🤘👍.Up the Irons from🇦🇹🎸🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎶🎚🎛🔊
My first guitar was a used Ibanez Destroyer. Purchased by my parents about 6 months before this tour and when I saw Smith playing one I decided that moment I would never sell it. Still sounds perfect 40 years later
This song by far is my favorite Iron Maiden song ever! Clive Burr made this tune sound as great as it really is ! Iron Maiden fans all across the globe still remember you and LOVE YOU!
Is not a typical Maiden song, I can hear this song every day and don’t get tired of listening, the rhythm is powerful
This band is so timeless man, god I love Maiden!!
Bruce at his best and I saw this in 1982.
You are a lucky man...I was 13 when I heard this!!....and it changed me forever!!
Eterna luce voice de bruce
I'd give my kidney to be able to go back and see this live.
Thanks Clive for the magic!
Wow I can't believe how amazing this specific version is. I've always been a huge fan of this song but this performance blew me away!
Simple, I have never heard another live version so clean and perfect! It’s just impossible to do better than this
Dave Murray was absolutely shredding in this live album.
O melhor baterista de todos!!!
03:38 - Love this part, Clive perfect!
Great Drums Work!
Its crasy this was 12 years before I was born, and I saw them for my sweet 16 live in LOS Angeles. What an epic this band is, just as good live as day 1 I reckon
Goddamn what a performance every single one of them was as loud as the other
The kings and Gods of heavy metal! This can't be recreated. It only happens once in a lifetime. My favorite song by Iron Maiden. Clive Burr was made for this song because it has a certain timing and groove where Cilve is right in the pocket with Steve Harris playing phenomenal bass. Adrian Smith kills the solo and with Dave Murray as a perfect duel guitarists. And Bruce Dickinson is at his peak as a front man. I personally love to listen to this song, Back in the village, assassin and the fugitive together. They're all about the same show and the same character in The Prisoner TV series. Iron Maiden is the greatest heavy metal band of all time. Second only to Metallica in my opinion. This is just pure, raw kick you in the teeth music. No frills or enhancements. Just raw talent! Up the Irons! 🤘🙌
The audio quality on this video 👍🏻👍🏻
Guitar solos…Adrian Smith almost note for note from the record… Dave Murray with an improv! Two of the best Guitarists ever!
One of the best presentations of Maiden with an amazing quality of sound equal to listen from the disk...Best of the best!!
Harris looks so happy on this one. We can read his mind in this video he's like') Man..paul is gone, Bruce is 10 times better on stage and as a singer than paul, Adrian is well educated on his guitar and my band is becoming little by little the best metal band in the fuckin world!!!
This performance is simply perfect
Smiths Solo. Damn. Pure and perfect!!!
Just love this song! 🤘🏼
Chills everytime and 3:40 is 👌🏼
MAN, what a killer vid!! Thank you for posting! I saw them open for Scorps this tour. Bruce wore us out. YEAH!!! to yeah. Also great to remember the Ibanez Destroyer II's Dave and Adrian used. Of course, Dave with the flame maple/set neck version and Adrian with the plainer bolt neck one. I remember these from GP mags in the early '80s. Both sound great.
rip clive
The best Song ever...
this is pure joy ❤ my favorite version of this song.
Clive all my life!!!
Una de las obras más hermosas de Iron Maiden y todo un placer ver tocar al mejor baterista heavy de ese entonces, Clive Burr qepd.
Man, this song sounds so amazing live!!!!….and Clive is a beast!!!..
Yesterday 7th July I went to see them live in London O2 Arena! Was waiting for this 20 years! ❤ now I can get old in peace
Clive era un monstruo poderoso con la batería.
Great album, I've loved these guys since I was in grade school in the early 80's. My sister and I had to hide our tapes from mom and dad.....they thought these guys were satan worshippers.....like those guys in Twisted Sister (parent logic). Years later when I got my own place, I was playing this, along with some Judas Priest, AC/DC, etc. The Trooper came on....my dad says "hmm, great song, who are these guys?" I turned to him and said- one of them bands you said we couldn't listen to when we were kids, haha.
Yes, unfortunately we have an entire generation of girlymen running about. Sooner or later they will wake up and realize that "progress" has devolved humanity. If you listen to the stuff they are listening to now....it has no soul. Metal is just cookie cutter music, and it's as if creativity is just an afterthought.
CANNOT get ENOUGH of this live performance or The Prisoner! I remember the first time I watched this was on Iron Maiden: The Early Years part 1 DVD 11 years ago.
lightening fast heart felt guitar mastery
Steve just takin that bass for a jog like always!! Love maiden! 🤘🤘🤘 hope you’re having a kickass day!
The best metal band on earth, in his pick performance time
Clive the best drummer ever.
@3:55 Just good old pure 80s British Heavy Metal
simply the best of the best !
This is one of those songs that is very overlooked I think. I didn't fully appreciate it until I saw the live version of it they done on the Maiden England video many years ago. And that solo is pure wicked! Such a great song.
My favorite of them all!! Saluud!!
I so fucking love this song !!!!
Me too, me too... \m/
This song gives me goosebumps
TY you for posting brings up some good memories …..all 3 x I saw them lol
Awsome clive burr!!!!!
This is their best line up.
amaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazing , u fukin love this song one of the most underrated ones!!! º_______º
Brilliant song and musicianship. Grooves hard.
This video deserves about 10x the views
maaan!!!! i knew Maiden were amazing!!! but this live version almost sounds like a Studio version 2.0 Live!!!!! their sound is extremely clear!!!!
never get tired of hearing this- f-ing awesome
best live!
Bellissima up the iron maiden forever best band de favolosa categoria
when you are in class and the teacher call your number and tell you to clean the whiteboard
Clives style was just more solid & metal than Nicko,s jazz always using the ride style. I play & just think Clive was an incredible drummer. Listen to his chops on "Killers"
Poor Clive, I'm sure he had no idea he'd be sacked by the band immediately after this tour ended.
Yeah, especially how superior he was to Nicko.
he had no idea he was about to be replace by the guy that appeared wearing the devil custom on The# of the beast!!!
The greatest travesty in the history of rock...
I heard that he was drinking too much, i but i also heard the band liked Nicko better.. Im not sure why they sacked him.
What is the meaning of sacked?
Oh to be a teenager and see this again
Man you must be lucky i wanna go back in time and see them in their prime
This live audio quality is better than the studio version
Superb and one near Bruce's greatest early vocal performances. The only thing that grinds my gears is the cameraman missing first part of Adrian's solo :(
Anthemic.... And great fun to play on a bass
AMAZING
Grandiosi
So good!
I was like 12 when this fucking song came out and it pretty much roll explains my life till this day
Clive ❤
Damn they sound awesome live!
Whoever was a young person when this came out was so lucky.
THIS MUST BE THE MOST UNDERRATED IRON MAIDEN SONG EVER.
Bruce in flames!!! \m/
This my anthem
Love.
i would travel back in time only to see this by my eyes
i was there,at this very gig!
Clive! Wow.
It's now 2023 and if we would have listened to what IRON MAIDEN was telling us then the world would be a lot better than now
My fav maiden song ever, cant belive they didnt play it more often on tours.
Because Nicko can't handle this or any of Clive's songs.
Darron Mecak completely different styles
Probably the most underrated track on Number Of The Beast
Elite performance.
Dave/Adrian duet[sekaligus duel].... dahsyat!!
3:58 just can't enough of this
Happy Birthday Clive Burr in Heaven he would have turned 64 today (B 08-
Sounds like the harmony vocal on the chorus was dubbed in after.
UNDERATED SONG!!!!
Sounds even better live
Love the leather and spandex!
I Am Not A Number! I'm a FREE MAN!!
The only thing better than one Ibanez Destroyer, are two Ibanez Destroyers... Up The Irons!
Metal at it's finest
