Man, I never tire of classic Maiden. Harris, Murray and Smith: One of the best threesomes ever. This song shows they can still kick ass without vocals.
loved the fact that they used this song to warm up the public during the 2007-2008 world tour. everyone in the crowd was singing along jumping around, then the churchill intro .. then aces high .. fireworks .. huge burst of energy went through the 50,000 people crowd.
i love this song. One thing i hate though is when you see magazines and stuff naming the best guitarists ever or top 100 guitarist of all time, you never see Dave Murry, Adrian Smith, or Janick Gers on any of them. i think these guys are some of the best guitarist ever and should be recognized more. UP THE IRONS!
Maiden really needs to start playing this at Live shows. Seriously they haven't played this gem since 1993, and it's a shame seeing how it is easily my favourite maiden song
I remember playing Nintendo as a little kid, playing the video game Transylvania (where you go to kill Dracula, the Grim Reaper and Frankenstein), my dad would be jamming to Maiden.... It was awesome being a kid. This reminds me of that ....
sin duda alguna una de las mejores bandas del METAL es IRON MAIDEN y la forma con la ke tokan esta cancion solo ellos pueden hacerlo son todos unos dioses!!!
easily my favorite Maiden song just saw them wednesday for my first time, and it made me realize what life is all about.....FUCKIN MAIDEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'd have killed to be around in Maiden's early years. People who were there find it hard to put into words how it felt. I don't think there are any bands around today who have 'it' like maiden did, & still make a damned good effort to keep it today
Having heard much about them in the music press I first saw Maiden support Judas Priest at Hammersmith Odeon back in (I think early'81, I remember that it was the first time I'd seen the place full for the support act. - What a night it was ! - a metal double bill to rival anything then or since.
Transylvania is the best instrumental masterpiece in the history of heavy metal
lml !!!
Absolutely agree!!!!!
Man, I never tire of classic Maiden. Harris, Murray and Smith: One of the best threesomes ever. This song shows they can still kick ass without vocals.
Clive Burr starts off with the hardest Maiden song just for fun. Drum God.
their first album was a real masterpeace!!!

One of the great Maiden moments. This is fucking amazing, arry and murray going sick.
Played guitar for 12 years, but after playing this song with the band I wish I had started playing drums instead.
So fucking awesome to play on drums.
Love this song, that is a cool fact about this was originally written as a violin folk song!
i love this song. The power radiating during this concert is unmatched by any other band to this day. And listen to Steve Harris' bass own...

Let the awesomeness begin!
Best invention in history of humanity.
I used to watch this download with Kazaa or Morpheus or Soulseek as a kid and I would think this was the coolest of the cool. Awesome band.
