It released energy in me I had no idea was there. It rocketed me into a world of graphics, language and esoterics. My life would not have been the same without the first two Maiden albums. Bruce simply took over, but was never the thunderflash Paul was. Bruce is too studied in a way when he sings. Paul is streetcorner wise, raw power and yet emotional when the need arises. It's hard to explain, it's emotional I guess.

I don't feel sorry for him, but I have some compassion for the troubled man with a voice I enjoy hearing. Plus, I am also happy he overcame that scary condition that was menacing his life. Paul may not be a perfect human being, but he deserves better, both from life and from us. And I admire him for, after all his troubles, distant and recent, standing up in the stage (even in wheelchair) and sing the songs, whise copyrights he recently acquired back. Respect. 💪
His drug problem and general belligerent attitude was why Maiden dumped him as i understand it. They were just fed up. If he felt abandoned, he's not looking at the true problems, which were caused by himself. But I do hope he has some peace in his life.

Ive got a real love for the Dianno era of Iron Maiden. They were a lot less theatrical and more aggressive back then, but he is just trying to cash in now. I mean, he left the band in 1981!!

Last time I saw them was on the Seventh son of a seventh son tour with Helloween opening (when the latter were STILL a very decent Speed Metal band - incredible live band back then . 88 that was . One of my 1st gigs -unforgettable to the point I´ve had the chance to see them many times after (mainly at festivals ) and have always declined since I have this feeling it would had ruined the memories I have of that mid teens/ "mid size " gig in the 80s which was simply magical as you can imagine . @@chriswilkinson7636

Paul, i hope this reaches you, the best performance you gave was at the WILTON IN SALISBURY, there was a doctor at the show who realised you have a hearing problem, the Doctor was also a sound engineer, the "PRESCRIPTION" he wrote for the desk was this. cut everything above 140hz completely from the monitor on the side you are deaf on, cut the 140 hertz as a framework, starting with a 30 - 70 hertz 15 db boosted monitor into a single speaker capable of holding without distorting. Frequencies 71-140hertz at 8percent above production volume into seperate main monitor ON YOUR DEAF SIDE., this speaker needs to be next to the boosted 30-70 htz cabinet, 141 - 400 hertz at 5 percent boost, a seperate speaker on your good side giving main monitor study output of total sound as it can be heard correctly. you have one of the most powerful voices i ever heard, do not give up. Whoever the guy on desk was sound engineering, has a COMPLETE write up of what it took to get it right. (daryl masterton?). This is the best Paul Di´Anno has ever sounded ever since he left Maiden . He sounds sober and is singing much better ( as a consequence ?! ) .
