- Marc has been using this KitchenAid Countertop Oven, or toaster oven, for several months and we finally got around to reviewing it! Despite the name, this thing really packs a punch! Great video. You made up my mind to purchase this toaster oven.
THE RACK... After 6 decades of cooking, I knew the rack was upside down for toasting. Too bad you can't type in an edit in with a comment for those who don't know. Personally, I don't have a problem with picking up my toast versus sliding it, but apparently that's a deal breaker for some.
I love how drip tray lifts up and out, instead of sliding it out. It also seems like, from your video, that the handle doesn't touch the countertop when the door is opened. I've read some toaster handles interfere with sliding bottom rack out because the door won't lie flat. NOW, that's a deal breaker for me.
Yup. The ninja dual door roster oven does not sit flat and I did not like that product. This one is in my kitchen and we use it daily and love it. Thanks for watching. Marc
Very good, informative video! Only suggestion I have for improvement is to discuss how easy/difficult it is to clean, especially after a cooking “mishap”. From the video, it looks pretty easy to clean. I did not see splatters from the pizza or roast though.

Thank you. I’ve decided to buy a glass halogen countertop convection oven because all the interiors of all toaster ovens on the market are aluminum or teflon type. Im sticking to glass, and stainless steel cooking products for health reasons.

I bought few days ago I'm still waiting Breville Joule Oven Stainless Steel Air Fryer Pro.. My friend have it he loves it and I really loved it , when I was there it's all stainless steel very high quality and it's pricey it's $500, but well Worth it, and you can connect it to the recipe app , choose the recipe and oven just starts itself to make that recipe
automatically, just awesome, is there another model is a lower call Smart pro I think, that one is a $400 and is always is number one to consumer.. Breville it's just a Mercedes-Benz of the appliance brand
I wonder how can I use the air fryer basket as a rack when I place my baking pan above the actual rack because sometimes I need to put a pan with water in it to increase the moisture. Will the basket be wobbly? I wished the baking pan can attach to one of the levels and stand by itself.

If you spray oil on you tenders, they will be browner and crisper

I really like this unit, but not being to slide items off of the rack is a deal killer to me. Maybe the rack could be flipped over to get rid of the edge though... 🤔
Yes, ur correct. Now that I’ve had it a while. I realized I messed up in the video and had it upside down. We use this everyday at home and it’s basically replaced our conventional oven. Thanks for watching. Marc
can you see through the dark glass while things are cooking so you don't have to open the door every time you want to look at something?

When you use broil on this oven, do the bottom heating elements turn red hot? Mine don’t, only the top ones do so I think mines defective 😞
Thanks for the comment. As far as I know, broil is always just the top elements. Even in a traditional oven. Marc
@@TheAverageKitchen I tried bake and toast modes and it seems to work. Weird my old Cuisineart would heat both bottom and top elements when broiling. Thanks for the reply.

So i ourchased this naced off of this video and my toast at shade 3 slice 2 was the color of your shade 8 slice 2. Spoke with kitchen aid and after showing photo comparisons they sent me a replacement. Same issues. Im not sure why your toast is way different than mine. 😢

For sure. I’ll be honest, it’s almost basically replaced our normal oven. Very easy for kids to use. And consumes less hydro then the oven.

@@TheAverageKitchen thank you, just found your videos, I’m enjoying them, it will even work on any fresh dough, not just hard dough thats a little stiff from drying or what, sometimes the pan blocks major airflow, try what won’t leak.
