    I like how technical you are, and your narration is clear, concise, and interesting too. Thanks for the video.

    Thank you for measuring the inside measurement from the lowest rack. Everyone should measure that way.
    And the thermal imaging good idea.

    Is this a gimmicky attempt from kitchenaid to move an older product with a small change to the display? Can you tell any difference between the convection bake setting and the air fry setting? This looks oddly the same as the dual convection countertop oven (KCO255BM)

    How do you increase the volume when the timer ends?

    Great review!! Would you still consider this even though it has accuracy issues?

    • @aaronstestlab
      @aaronstestlab  2 года назад +2

      Yes, mainly because I use it primarily for air frying and toasting. If I were using it more as a mini second oven I might think otherwise

    I've had this oven for about 6 months. After about 3 months, it started heating unevenly. I would not recommend it.

    Hey Aaron, just found and subscribed to your channel. Comparing this device, I would be interested in your review of the Breville Combo wave 3 in 1. I have the Breville Smart oven pro and it's pretty amazing.

    Is this a worthy upgrade over the previous model for the extra $70-80? Does the dual convection really make a difference?

    • @aaronstestlab
      @aaronstestlab  2 года назад +1

      Haven't used the previous model so can't say if it's worth $70 to upgrade. The dual convection doesn't make that much of a difference.

      I have the previous model, I find it more than adequate and the footprint is smaller.

    For the temp accuracy do they make it run hotter on purpose with the expectation of someone needing to open the door and put the item in after the preheat is done?. So it doesn't lose too much heat? Or is it just bad

      Anything is possible. However, I did reviews on the Calphalon Performance Oven and the Instant Omni Plus, and both of them were pretty accurate.

    As someone that works on full size kitchenaid oven, you can ignore this temp test as this never works out for real temp. I laughed when he said he was going to test the temp.

    • @aaronstestlab
      @aaronstestlab  2 года назад +1

      That's not true. The other ovens I tested in this series were pretty accurate.

      @@aaronstestlab I wouldn't sweat what your probe is telling you. How your food comes out at the Time and Temp is what matters. Too many variables to be trying to to use an external thermometer. If it says your biscuits should be done in 12 minutes and they come out burnt in 8-9 minutes or still doughy at 16 minutes then you might have an issue unless there smaller or larger size biscuits than normal. Same with a pizza or even toast.

    Just found your channel. I was considering buying this because it looks like it would be easy to clean with the nonstick interior. But I also plan to bake in it. So, it does not bake evenly (biscuits, cookies, etc.)? Thanks in advance.

    • @aaronstestlab
      @aaronstestlab  2 года назад +1

      I find that it bakes evenly, but then again, I'm not that particular of a baker.

      Sometimes new appliances smoke a little when brand new. If it continues I'd be concerned.
