very nice kit for those that want OEM+, really cant find anything else like it. Ive seen a few threads on the DIY versions on using GTR turbos and its a damn nightmare getting things to clear so the price is well worth zero headache
It's crazy that anybody would even consider this. For the price of this package with installation and then the price for an upgraded tranny with installation, you can buy a nicer lower mileage car that makes more power.
This is exactly why I just bought a q60. You can almost buy a q60 for 12.5. Let alone with a whole ass g37 on top. Great idea but I’d only do this if my g had already been a pretty completed show car already.
yes , but soho kits are single turbo. Single turbo has the turbo offset to the side, which means you have different amounts of back pressure to each side of the engine due to differences in piping length. The exhaust has to travel a longer distance to the turbo and take more turns/bends, you're not going to get the same type of response as you would with kits like this EAC kit or kits form FI or AAM. You're also not going to be running any air filter.
I'm really considering this kit got my G37 manual, I dont want more than 530HP so I think this kit is fine. It is really expensive but it does feel OEM plus since it has the GTR turbos. I really like all the available torque on low to mid. Would you reccomend this as a set it and forget it kit?

What i like the most about this kit is that you can have it be emissions compliant or you can easily modify it for race use and make 1000 whp or more (requires turbo modification). Without modifying the turbos this kit will cap out at around 700 whp.
@@BoostInMotion to answer your question about the AWD, this kit fits AWD also, the piping is different for AWD as well as some of the other Infiniti models. When I say supports all VQ37, I really mean it :)
The GTR twin turbo kit for VHR is complete garbage. - way overpriced for USED GTR turbos that can’t even make 600whp on the VHR -motor needs to be dropped to work on it -dangerous TQ level for stock engine -if you ever want to make 600+ you will need to upgrade the turbos and fueling.( minimum $5k extra)
Hi Jesus, there are some graphs listed showing this kit making over 650 whp (check the product page). This is for the tuner kit which uses catless downpipes instead of cats. We have a turbo upgrade option available for race use that will provide up to 1000 whp if your engine will tolerate it. I believe we are making more low end torque even with cats on the emissions compliant tune/setup than any other kit out there. If you know of a kit that spools better yet allows similar top end, please enlighten me and I will use it in future comparisons.
I'm a huge supporter of this kit and I think I'd have to respectfully disagree. With just a handful of small changes, this kit can easily hit close to 700 whp. More importantly, no other kit comes close to the torque delivery, I think it's perfect for this platform. For example, take a look at Ben Lee's work with this kit, they made 660 ft lbs of torque and over 500 ft by of that by 3k!!! That's insane man. No other kit I've seen can even come close to making that kind of low end together with a good solid top end. you have to remember that this company is trying to show compliance... They have to advertise the kit with stock cats and so on, you're not going to see numbers to compare to anything else because there are no other twin turbo kits that are street legal.
@theisraelabshire but the other kits have just as much torque, your tuner, tunes the torque low for a reason. Secondly you paying 12k for the kit that's all ready pass a handful. AAM kits are 10k and they come out the box over 650 without a handful of small changes. Soho stage 1 comes with more hp. What run into with people that have turbos in the 400-550 range with 1050 cc injectors and a 350 walboro fuel pumps they ALL want more hp. Hell even GTRs don't stay in their stock turbos numbers they want 550-600+ hp. I'm sorry to say but 600,650+ is the standard
you will do better getting anything but this "used gtr turbos for 10k with a 340 and 650cc injectors. Cant see this making good power. Eugene is a good tuner but his products are garbage.
I looked into it and the turbos are not used, they are reman modified turbos like what you would get from companies such as pure. Why are Eugene's products garbage? Seems like you're just out here to slander. I've seen cars with this kit up close at some shows and the fit/finish has been outstanding, better than any other kit from any other company I've seen. You should find someone with the kit and check it out for yourself before throwing shade.

The only downside I see is the VQ transmission won't handle this and a bunch of shops don't know how to do the swap

Well their turbo kit is about 8-10 grand single turbo but the super charge kit is about half the price
This kit should be called The Johnny be good California kit. Nobody outside of California would consider this kit at this price for these low numbers
