    What I loved about Anderson was even when he wasn’t getting points he was still trying to drive the play and hitting everything out there
    For a lot of this season he was one of the few who seemed to put in an effort every night

    The best trade tree would be the signing/trade of Chris Gratton by the Flyers from the Lightning in 1998... in which the Flyers directly ended up with games from Langkow, Jeff Carter, Voracek, and Couturier... and Mikael Renberg was worth four first round picks. Just an insane trade that is still benefiting the Flyers almost 25 years later.

      He's already a part of a different tree, the Evander Kane one, specifically. Also, because the trades happened relatively recently (as in this happened in 2019), there isn't much to go digging into for now. Maybe it'll be revisited later on, but I would guess that it's unlikely that we see a trade tree involving Hayes as the primary focus for at least a few more years

But I couldn’t help noticing that you left out a small tidbit about Galchenyuk and the Leafs, 2021 playoffs, first round game 5, does it ring a bell? Too soon? Well, it reminds me of a saying Hab fans used to say about Chucky, he givith and he taketh away! He was great all playoffs, then laid a huge egg with that no look backhand pass, gets cut off by Cole Caufield who goes on a 2-0 with Suzuki who scores to win the game. Ouch!

    • @cjb4924
      @cjb4924 3 года назад

      Hall for Larsson? Larsson played five seasons with Edmonton then signed with Seattle as a free agent, so that ends that side of the tree pretty quickly. On the other side Hall played 3 1/2 seasons with Jersey, who then traded him for Nick Merkley (more on him later),
      Kevin Bahl (a big dman still in the minors), and the 1st-round pick in the 2020 draft that turned out to be Dawson Mercer, who just finished his last season of junior and looks promising. Merkely was recently traded to San Jose for Christián Jaros, a dman with 20 games played in the NHL while bouncing up and down from the minors. Soooo.... Bahl and Jaros are probably fringe NHL dmen, but Mercer has a chance to be very good, though its way too soon to tell for certain. So...nothing on one side, and to be determined on the other side. Not a very compelling trade tree lol

      There is no tree. Karlsson is still in San Jose, tierney and the pick that turned out to be stuetzle are still in Ottawa. The only additional branch to the trade was demelo going from Ottawa to Winnipeg.
