In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

This was by far my favorite season of the show. The guests were enthusiastic, inventive and not overly competitive. Besides, any show with Joe Lycett and Noel Fielding is bound to be great!

I love Taskmaster when one of the contestants has to do something that none of the others had to do ! Joe smiling at the camera every thirty seconds was one ! In another show, one of them had to counts the grains of rice in a jar (it could have been Josh Widecome)
It was! He also had to count beans in a can
Mark Watson texting Greg was the best example IMO. Partly because it lasted over a long period of time and partly because it affected Greg so much as well. Mainly though it was because of Mark's face when he realised what had happened and then again when he wasn't getting any points for it. Sheer brilliance.
In series 2 when the contestants had to come up with their own tasks and Jon Richardson had to complete all the tasks😂😂 was my fave
And there was previous season, where Paul Chowdhry had to amuse himself in a bouncy castle .... for ONE hour 😂
When Mel has to hide the huge inflatable ball

Fun fact: number 7 in Jo Lycett's camouflage task is Al Murray. He lives close to the taskmaster house so he often just pops in unannounced to see what's going on. Love it 😂

Series 4 was one of the best for sure.
All the effort of setting up those slides, and both joe and lolly shit themselves, and basically just politely sat down on the ground instead of giving a proper go 😂

Joe Lycett is an example of why Taskmaster is great -- because I never liked his standup but then on Taskmaster he's just fantastic; his half-sweet, half-sarcastic persona fits so perfectly in the show especially with this line-up.

People I would love to see on future Taskmasters - Jack Dee, Lee Mack, Sean Lock, Jimmy Carr, Alan Carr, Ade Edmondson, Alan Davies, Sandi Toksvig, Richard Ayoade, David Mitchell, Victoria Coren-Mitchell, Ellie Taylor, Bill Bailey, Dawn French and I know he would probably never do it but Ricky Gervais would be brilliant.

Why are the clips so quiet compared to the music in between!?
It's the same reason as for TV, it's caused by compression rates, or more correctly it's caused by greedy manipulative parasites using compression rates to further control the feeble minded, the kind of people who are engrossed in the lives of vapid, consumption driven, dedicated environment destroyers. The same pathetic vermin who voted in a self confessed sex offender. It's to take money from those simpletons. In exchange for mostly superfluous useless paraphernalia, and now we've arrived at the birth of domination, the childish belief in supernatural beings.
Cycle complete, greedy manipulative control freaks, dominating the incredulous, the sheep bleating along with ridiculous propaganda. Divisive and pathetic rhetoric, but the disempowered have little else.
