  • If you are a 3D artist but you are struggling to find work with your art then this is the right video for you.
If you are interested in that subject I have a few more pointers which can help YOU to increase your income with 3D art:
    1. Freelancing: Offer your services as a 3D artist and animator on freelancing platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, or Freelancer. Create a portfolio showcasing your skills and previous work to attract clients. You can work on various projects such as architectural visualization, product design, character modeling, or animation.
    2. Sell 3D models: Create high-quality 3D models and sell them on marketplaces like TurboSquid, CGTrader, or Blend Swap. These platforms allow you to showcase and sell your models to other artists, game developers, or designers.
    3. Create tutorials and courses: If you have expertise in using Blender, consider creating tutorials or online courses. You can create video tutorials on platforms like RUclips or develop comprehensive courses on platforms like Udemy or Skillshare. Monetize your content through ads, sponsorships, or by charging for your courses.
    4. Create and sell assets: Develop and sell add-ons, textures, materials, or other digital assets that can enhance the workflow of other Blender users. You can market these assets on platforms like Blender Market or Gumroad.
    5. Work on freelance projects: Keep an eye on job boards and websites specific to the animation and 3D industry. Many companies and studios require 3D artists for their projects. You can find opportunities for architectural visualization, game development, virtual reality, or even film and television.
    6. Participate in contests and challenges: Join 3D modeling contests and challenges, where you can showcase your skills and potentially win prizes or get recognition. Websites like ArtStation or BlenderArtists often host such events.
    7. Create and sell your own content: If you have creative ideas for animated shorts, short films, or even a full-length movie, you can create your own content and monetize it through platforms like RUclips, Vimeo, or by selling it directly.

I don’t have the slightest skill set in 3-D animation, but I’m always happy when people can get paid for doing what they love to do. Congratulations to you! Keep putting out that great work!

It's really addicting. It feels like playing a video game. Frustrating at first because you don't know what buttons to push. But the more you do the better and faster you get

just found the video and explored ur other content, amazing channel my brother! one small question is how to price your work? how much would u charge for your work? cheers!

Just set yourself a day rate or hourly rate.
And then give them a fair estimate based on how long you think it's gonna take. Just don't make the mistake to give them a flat rate. Because then you're stuck working for months and weeks on one set rate.
Every extra day you work on something because they want changes you have to charge tje client

I made my money bundles too small so make sure to set everything to scale.
Maybe watch my blender mistakes video so you don't have to make the same mistakes.
And also I have a blender community challenge you could participate in.
If you have any questions lemme know

Where did you post your work to get clients’ attention. Im trying to start making money with blender as a side thing while im in school and was wondering how I can actually find someone willing to contract me.

    • @PhilFlock
      @PhilFlock  9 месяцев назад +1

In my case it was Instagram.
But it really could be anywhere. Just post a variety of art work and when the right person in your contact list just knows someone who eventually gonna ask. "Hey you know someone who does this and that" and this person thinks of you. You'll get the job.
