    I am 41 and have been diabetic for the last 12 years. I unfortunately have not controlled it very well and boy is my body feeling it. I deal with high blood pressure, neuropathy, joint pain, and muscle stiffness. I need to make a change. I just bought some equipment to create a home gym and I will be starting the Mediterranean diet. I would love a video on managing diabetes with the Mediterranean diet. Your content has been extremely helpful! I have binged them all, lol. Thank you!

    Too late for me Dr. Anna 😢I need to lose the (at least) 15% and that is getting tough but I did do it last year. I did it slowly. If I have any alcohol and deserts plus snacking a night while watching TV (“ healthy popcorn”) the weight comes on in two pounds OVER NIGHT! I gained back 12 pounds in one month! How is that even possible?? Getting back on track with your coaxing😊💕

      No such thing as too late! It’s all about making progress wherever you are at. Definitely, the more improvements you can make, the better you’ll feel:) getting support is what it’s all about, our community is here for that!

    Do you recommend no poultry/eggs and if so why ? Thank you.

      Good question - absolutely not! Poultry and eggs are some of the best sources of protein available, and white meat poultry especially is a great source of lean protein without lots of animal fat (often high in saturated fats). Thank you for asking this :)

    Where do you stand on ghee and butter, like good Irish butter?

      I think everything has its place! I personally love the flavor of butter. There are certain things that just work better with butter than oil, like certain baked goods.
      Overall, I would think about making most of the oils in the diet from plants, but also throwing in some butter some of the time too if it’s what you like.
