      @Sinu_07-fu7ce how does the quality experience of the Lexus differ from the quality experience of the Toyota at the Platinum level?
      At the Toyota Platinum level, you get just as good leather and styling plus you get better gas mileage, you can use regular unleaded, panoramic roof, electronic rear view mirror and you also get the Hybrid engine. The cheapest TX would give you the gas engine. That also means more reliability as the Hybrid engine would last longer because there is less maintenance. No drive belt, no starter, no alternator and the Hybrid battery is warrantied for 10 years.

    The one thing i was looking for is the bench seat because most videos have been showing the hybrids with the captain's chair. I have always only bought lexus and Toyotya however I'm observing trends where the customer has to be compromising too much on basic things that you'd expect the designers to know better. The middle second row seat (shown at 5:13 mark) has and indentation which makes it shorter from back to front and will make it uncomfortable to sit in. This design has been a complaint by customers in the industry for years and many manufacturers have resolved to making the bench seats linear all the way accross. Disappointing that Lexus has done this. It's a retrograde design. These simple things matter to people buying this for families which is who these are marketed to. Certainly not the best seat as they say in the ads.

    • @bbbt8090
      @bbbt8090 8 месяцев назад

      My thoughts exactly about the bench seats! People who buy these 3 row suvs need the bench seat!!! From what I've heard is the manufacturers delete the bench seat for the top models because the extra weight causes issues with towing and packaging. Since the low end models have less tech (less weight to carry) and the higher end models have more tech which equals to more weight

    • @Jarro21
      @Jarro21 8 месяцев назад +2

      @@bbbt8090Yeah, I just think Toyota has been guilty of what I call lazy engineering lately. The purpose of an engineer is ti solve problems and they've been compromising and short changing too much functionality instead of solving the problem for the consumers they are targeting. If I'm buying a TX with captain's chairs, I can easily not need a 3 row SUV. They market these for families who need a 3rd row but then limit seating capacity to only 6 person which is only one more seating capacity than a 2 row. Makes no sense. From what I can see from Toyota, if you have a family of 5, especially with 3 growing children, the only true practical option you have is the minivan in the entire lineup. I currently have a Rav4 and was looking at options when we go on road trips or if a family member or friend is visiting and nothing except the the minivan truly satisfies those needs and yet toyota/lexus markets atleast 6 vehicles they say should meet those demands. The previous gen Sequoia was perfect and now it's garbage. The new gens are all falling short and when you compare to GM and Ford options, they are way more practical. I think many people who buy other brands would buy Toyota but Toyota is not listen to the consumer and I'm a Toyota guy for 26 years.

The tank capacity states 17 gals but when the gauge says E and light comes on it will only let you put in about 12 gallons of gas. That sucks and heard they have class action lawsuits against them on the RAV4 hybrid models for the same way. Upon researching its due to the fuel tanks saddle like shape. I agree. He’s a Mexican illegal trying to pursue the American dream of making bank by reviewing vehicles. Javier Guzman Gonzalez Rodriguez is his name I believe. God bless him for being so brave crossing the dangerous rio grande river and the barbed wire Texas border to reach the American promise land….land of opportunity and welfare.

      Honestly I'd be fine with no sunroof. One fewer thing to cause problems or to rattle and I just leave mine shut all the time anyway.

      @@almassengale i agree, ive been experiencing panoramic sunroofs a lot more and most of the time i've had it closed. especally on hot sunny days since it really gets hot inside with it. it is a nice to have though.

    Honestly, the interior is a dud. As it is for every Lexus. The exterior is a knockout. The interior is bland as hell and very dull. Especially when compared to the competition. The interior looks dated already. The interior looks like a Toyota.
