Drove the RX 500h recently and thought the same. Wayyyyyy too firm, it’s annoying why they have this engine/ model only in sport. If it had a luxury or premium trim it’d sell so well
I am with Thomas on this one, for me the front looks terrible frankly. Look like a solid block that then had slits inserted in last min. TX is a new line so I think they will be implementing updates and changes as people vocalize their feedbacks and if Lexus is listening. Looking forward to the GX 550! Im really surprised that you guys missed the joke of the car being incognito gray which is the tab you open to search for Alexis Texas. Great episode none the less fellas!
Driven the 350 and 500F, the ride is so smooth and comfortable in both trims, you feel major imperfections in the road a bit more in the 500 F but it is still a very comfortable ride, We choose the 500F, the rear steer is slick

I've always strangely found that Lexus vehicles, especially F-Sport are crashy over imperfections...I have an NX F-Sport on 18's with AVS and a Macan GTS on 20's with AS and PASM...the Macan is WAYYY better ride quality.
I owned 2 tacomas and 2 4runners, none of them got decent fuel mileage, it's a toyota thing. My older LS430 did do well in that department. make the toyota 4.3 great again.
Looks like if the honda crv was bigger and wanted to be a lexus. I see this plastic front panel with holes replacing a front grill design is what everyone is going for. The crv, the ferrari roma and I could think of a couple of others also have it.
I assume the other two trims have other seat options, and have different suspension. Tho i also wonder if another mode could solve the issues you had with side-to-side motion. In my MDX changing the IDS or whatever changes suspension and throttle from Sport, Normal and Comfort, the latter being a bit too bouncy in town.
This car is very cookie cutter... and that's perfect. It's what people have been wanting for years. If you want something more specialized, get a GX or LX. In a world where an X5 or GLE cost $20k-$30k more with the same power, this is going fly off shelves
And you get Toyota reliability instead of the German complexity or American cheapness (tho in modern US higher trims that's less of an issue, but the gas mileage is gonna be *way* better int his no matter the power train vs a US V8 3 row, BoF or Unibody)
not sure I could ever make the jump to a six-figure offspring hauler. It's nice, but I think I'd just go with the Highlander Hybrid, which is a seriously large and pretty plush 3-row anyway. The Grand Highlander is surprisingly good looking, better than the Lexus Texas.
When I first saw this vehicle, I was excited about it. But now, something in the front end looks off to me. The front end looks like a digital rendering that lacks the details. Strange.
