Best car for beginners My first car was a mk5 1.9tdi 3door. It had over 330.000km. No damaged parts, no problems, no oil leaks. This was technically the last good VW. Engines where also great, especially 1.9TDI. Loved it. maybe don‘t buy a 3door( looks good), but it fuck‘s up after a time if you drive with more then 1person, and always have to clap the seats. Mine was a Sportline Edition. Heated Seats, leather sport steering( multifunctional) Nice Cars, reliable. I don‘t know why the mk5 has so much hate in the „vw-community“ or generelly. It‘s a good car.
Unfortunately the MK4 was the last golf/jetta you could get with a 1.9TDI in the US, after that the government added emissions requirements that forced the 1.9tdi off the market. For the USDM mk5 and mk6 golfs, they introduced a 2.5 liter 5 cylinder that is extremely reliable, and a good alternative if you are looking for a VW with 1.9TDI reliability. I have a base MK6 with the 2.5 NA 5-cylinder and a 5 speed manual, and its my favorite car ive ever driven. Small and easy to park, but roomy on the outside, fun to drive, and runs like new despite being 14 years old and having 145k miles (233k kilometers) on it
@@Victy I ended up with a 2005 golf 1.4 petrol comfort line, bought 2 days ago. I have gone around and looked at so many diesels and they all had some sort of a problem with either turbo, oil leaks, trashed body from outside, some issues exhausts etc. I think golfs are great cars but the ones I have seen were bad examples. but still, I went ahead with a 1.4 petrol. I'll see how it goes. And thanks for the reply!!!
Can't wait to get my driving license, till then I just look at your videos and chill thinking I drive them =)
I love this car 1.9 tdi, golf 5, the passat version is straight up 🔥🔝

1.9 tdi is one of the best performing engines. I also wonder why many people are not satisfied. 😕
@@automotivetvchannel driving a 2.5tdi skoda superb now. Consumption is the same, but better Power.
I don‘t no why mk5 is hated
