I started doing drugs since my teenage, got addicted to opioid. Spent my whole life fighting opioid addiction. I suffered severe depression and mental disorder. Was actually diagnosed with cptsd. Not until my wife recommended me to psilocybin mushrooms treatment. Psilocybin treatment saved my life honestly. 4 years totally clean. Never thought I would be saying this about mushrooms.
I love hearing great life changing stories like this. I want to become a mycologist because honestly mushrooms are the best form of medicine (most especially the psychedelic ones) There are so many people today used magic mushrooms to ween off of SSRI medication- its amazing! Years back i wrote an entire essay about psychedelics. they saved you from death buddy, lets be honest here.
Can you help me with the reliable source 🙏. I'm 56 and have suffered for years with addiction, anxiety and severe ptsd, I got my panic attacks under control myself years ago and they have come back with a vengeance, I'm constantly trying to take full breaths but can't get the full satisfying breath out, it's absolutely crippling me, i live in Germany. I don't know much about these mushrooms. Really need a reliable source!! Can't wait to get them
Thanks for sharing your story. That's rough I sympathize. Save your health save your mind. Life is better without heroin, cocaine, opioid, alcohol and cigarettes. And you have more money in your pocket. God bless everyone who has rejected the devils intentions to be addicted to alcohol and cigarettes etc which can cause so much damage to health. I will pray for you all.
My energy levels are nearly non existent. I hate it. People though think I’m somehow acting out in a sense. I wish I knew what was going on with myself.
Hi Cheryl-Not sure about the specifics of your situation. Please talk to your local health care practitioner. Low energy is certainly common after stopping opioids.
I took Kratom Red Bali for weeks to minimize the withdrawals. You can look into mucuna pruriens, a bottle costs like 40 bucks, it has hi L-DOPA and helps make dopamine and can help energy and mood but there's no quick fix. I know how it is, you are drained and just lie there or pass the fk out.
Iv had the samething no energy i think what we have to rember is hour age and all the energy we did have came from the drug we were takeing at the time i thurt my selff il detox and il be back to normal again but in my case i was on opits heroin metherdon for over 33 years we think once we detox were going be like we were b4 i dont think thirs eny qwick fix on it what iv bin doing is going for long walks and lifting whates up werking my mucils to werk again it douse help

I’m on day three of 40 mg Percocet a day and I’m already starting to feel a little better. Headache is just about gone still a little tired and weak but not near as bad as I was. I have refills but I don’t even think I’m going to refill them, I don’t like this feeling being dependent even though I’m taking them legitimately for a broken back I think I’d rather be in pain than withdrawals.
How long have you been doing them? I’m taking around the same amount well actually maybe half that now. But I keep putting off withdrawal because of my excuse of having so much to do and having so many tasks. And my withdrawal usually last likes 2 weeks at least but you give me hope. I need to get past that 3-5 days
@@nicholasnoriega1205 yes, it takes about 10 days to two weeks to be completely over the withdrawals but the more active you are the less the impact is on your body if you sit around it last longer but exercise helps a lot

I've been on opioids prescribed for 8 years for back pain. I quit taken them 3 weeks ago. I started using kratom I have no withdrawals. I quit using opioids because getting prescriptions filled is near impossible nobody carries it it's always on back order
I walked away from all the medical abuse and their dangerous drugs too. I quit when the pusher/dealer/doctors office tried treating me like a criminal for requesting my personal prescriptions. I used kratom and never looked back. Kratom works way better on my pain too. I was on high doses of opiates, Adderall, Benzos, Cymbalta, and more. See why now that I can see as I'm out from all of those drugs. Kratom is a miracle.
God. Ngl after detoxing methadone for 45 freaking days and my brain breaking from not sleeping for 16 days then 10 days then 7 days. Only 2 weeks later am I starting to sleep but I have to take some krstom before bed otherwise i won't sleep at all and I just couldn't do it anymore. With this amount of sleep deprivation I'm inclined to sleep the days away and rest when I can. Once I'm ready to boot camp my way through the rest ill do that. Methadone detox BROKE my brain and body even. Everything is harder. Even walking. It's like my muscles are dead now. So I'm gonna take a short break to recover before boot camping my way back to being happy. I'm soooo tired.
I detoxed cold turkey from 200+ mgs of methadone and 2 xany bars daily. That was daily for a few years. I detoxed cold turkey. I didn't sleep for 21 days. I might have slipped into a 10 15min nap a few times but that's it. I started a new warehouse Job after 1month took about 3 months to total normality and lost 40lbs plus of the water weight. @Raven that’s fucking hardcore. I don’t think your average human being can even begin to understand how painful and hard that is. I once didn’t sleep for 6 days during opioid withdrawal and was on the verge of losing my mind. I can’t imagine how you felt. Thank god you made it.
This video is so important. I took 8 mg Suboxone for 3 years and when i made the decision to tapper and come off. After the 72 hours of😭and a few weeks of the headaches and mood swings exercise absolutely got my head right. I was a runner in my yonger days and there is a phenomenon known as the runners high. If you want your body to refill the receptors its the absolute best and natural way to do it. Great content 👍
Thank you for reconfirming with your experience. I am so full of hope for the first time ever during a detox (not my first, but I'm 6 days in) I'm excited to overcome this with all of your help. Great community of people here. Such a blessing, there is no where else you can find this type of help.
I'm beginning to think only time will tell. Exercise is the one thing that makes me worse right now. Appreciate the advice. Almost 60 days off a low dose of suboxone. Maybe next month will be better.
Well, what can someone do that soon legitimately incredible pain if it’s seven operations, I need it. I still need a hip replacement knee replacement. I took a fall. The other day broke. My collarbone, broke most of the fingers in one hand had two spinal fusions, and I agree and I haven’t had any opioids in a month two months but I think I’ve been to see one doctor in the you’re on the medication and they stop because you know the doctor you’re on the medication and they stop because they are worried about their license. I think I’ve been in withdrawal over a year without not without any stop and I’m exactly, but you said I’m tired. I can’t take it anymore. I don’t know what to do and the answer is will get off pain medication. I can’t have a pain pump because the doctors are afraid to put it in because I have stage four kidney failure. Thank God I have a great kidney physician he doesn’t say no but the doctors were pain. Doctors don’t want to even mess with it in there been some very nice ones of just sitting I’m sorry but you’re screwed. Just come right out and say it what do I do please I’ve been off all old do opioids and I’ve just been put in agony every day and that’s fatiguing as well so I don’t know what it is what you say is a really solid point, but what do I do?
PRAY-PRAY-PRAY. I will do the same for you. When you’re really down and you don’t think there’s any hope at all, that’s when you are at your strongest. You will know that when you are touched by God. It will happen. Trust me and BELIEVE. God bless you.❤
If the answer is “eat well and exercise”….then, that basically translates as “we got nothing, except for just letting time help…maybe.” The only worse thing to see besides “exercise” is if one of the treatments for something is “deep breathing.”….that is a sure sign there is no treatment but they don’t want to be harsh. But….people are different and exercise may work for some, and no harm in trying.
Exercise literally repairs the damage done to opiate receptors. It’s just that we feel like shit and getting up and exercising is the last thing we want to do . But exercise shortens the suffering and the healing process and the “time” it would take to just wait while we sit on our asses. You’re being given the actual answer. You just may be wanting it in the form of another drug or medication which is probably what got you in this predicament in the first place. And any medication that can take this away, you will either have to take for life or you will have to face withdrawing from that as well. I get it. But I also get that I need to get up and start moving because no one is coming to save me from my own addiction but myself. Taking a walk is a small price to pay for the damage I’ve done to myself for years on end.
After years of eating 60-80 norcos/lortabs/lorcets (depends on the doctor what brand) a day it took a good year (forced cold turkey) for me to just stop dreaming about them. Now, well over 12 years later, and I'm not happy. I haven't been able to mimic that great feeling. But I've always been depressed, even as a kid. Been thinkin of getting back on them since they seem to be the only thing that ever made me happy and energetic. Say what you want, opiates make me not want to die (at all). To me they're more of an antidepressant than anything.
It's been 23 days off of fentanyl. And perpetually almost to the point of exhaustion. I'm always sleepy. After I wake up, I'm groggy and I'm confused like a statue. It is difficult to find motivation and energy to do anything
Hey 23 days for me too. Thank god I’m not alone. I am trying to work and can’t focus or even sit up and throw myself on the ground. Tried relapsing at 2 week mark but naltrexone prevented it from doing anything. This is awful.
His advice isn't really saying anything. "Just go ahead and do the thing you find impossible and do it consistently. Then you'll feel like you can do it." 🙄
I was doing oxy 30s from the age of 13 to 15 and smoked heroin until I reached 20, eventually got on methadone in 2020. I took my last dose in February of this year which was 20mg down from 200 but im currently dealing with this as well I have absolutely no energy. Im only 25 and have 4th stage liver disease from my drug abuse so im in severe pain contantly and limited to what I can do physically. What should I do in this situation taking my condition into consideration as physcial activity hurts me severely???
Dude if your liver is that messed up you need to be introducing very high amounts of antioxidants and clean eating. Get this supplement called NAC. N-acetyl-cysteine. Precursor to glutathione. Research that well and use 4,000 to 5,000mg spread out 3 or 4x daily on an empty stomach for your liver. Also take TUDCA for your liver. Research Both NAC and TUDCA, they work. You can look into milk thistle too but especially NAC and TUDCA. Both of those things will help a lot. You will also need a lot of water, probably a B complex, and a diet high in different fruits and veggies for recovery. The liver can regenerate, don't give up on it and don't let them demoralize you. It can heal.
Start walking. Carry your phone with you and watch your Health app for the number of steps that you take per day. Even if it’s only a couple hundred, let’s say 251. Tomorrow try to do 255. Just push for improvement. Be kind to yourself and encourage yourself for your improvement. Stay off of sugar and drink lots of water. It’ll force you to pee more, which will force you to move. Get the blood flowing. And most important of all thank God and pray that you’re still alive and ask him for help. Then believe that you will receive the help and wait for it. You’ll see it works. God bless. Hang in there.
@dannpurvis thank you for the reply I actually did just that I prayed and went to church which boosted my mental health a ton. I'm doing great now ive been completely off all opiates also my symptoms only lasted a month and a half after I posted this comment. It was nothing to 7+ years of suffering before hand, God is good 🙏
I had four back surgeries within a 8 month period (I was in a car accident) I weaned myself off because they weren’t working anymore. My last pill was 2 days ago. But I have been weaning over a 2 month period and my last pill was 10 mg Oxycodone. I’m taking clonidine to help with some symptoms. I was on the medication for a year and I never abused it. I cannot find anything on the internet that can help me. I have 4 kids and my energy is very low. I stay at home with them and I need to be able to take care of them. Is the time frame super long for them to get out of my system?
Has anyone had abnormal movements of their toes or any kind of tremors coming off of suboxone? I also have a severe tinnitus with any exertion physically.
Hi. What if I have endogenous endorphins deficiency syndrome? That's my case. Refractory major depressive disorder and the only thing that helps me feel normal (not high or euphoric) is tramadol or hydrocodone in very low doses (50mg tramadol daily or 30mg hydrocodone daily).
If you have a doctor prescribing - go for it. I believe you. Problem is usually one will need an increase as time goes by. And when your doc retires good luck finding a similarly minded new one. So if you are inclined detox now while dosage is relatively low. Yeah. It sucks.
Down to 1mg in the morning of subutex, self tapering from 8mg, twice a day (2x4mg), been doom scrolling past week.... Gonna play some xbox, and go for a nice long walk tonight!!! I've been eating a lot of decent food, that helps. Feels like your living in slow motion, through quicksand, its pretty bad…. I feel like a lifeless, corpse, the walking dead, feels like the depression steals your energy till you tap out, too.
Im 5 days off of opioids. Hot up at 6:00 am today, did some reading and small chores. Did pretty intensive yard work from 11:00 am until 3:00. I felt decent and had energy and crashed around 3:00 pm. It’s 4;30 pm now and just feel like resting on the couch now. Is this okay or should I make myself exercise even after doing yard work?
What is your advice for coming off the buvidal injection? I'm 2 weeks off from what would have been my last injection, starting to feel some anxiety and fatigue, just really restless and discontent.
I had been taking 40 to 50mg of hydrocodine a day for 2 years. I am now getting help thru a detox center been on 2mg suboxone for 4 days. It has helped i have not felt hardly no withdrawal symptoms and only a few cravings. I don't want to get addicted to this suboxone. I have heard stop after 7 days. Is this true? I plan to start exercising tomorrow and havd already begun a health diet. The suboxone was supposed to just get me thru the physical part. Should i stop taking it now? I dont want to trade one addiction for another.
I know this probably sounds retarded to a hard drug opiat user but i quit krarom extract shots, was doing 4/day for 6 months and totally burn3d out my dopamine/endorphins to where I felt like I lost my humanity. The only thing that gets me feeling kind of ok now is blasting metal music and jogging on the treadmill for 45 min every day. Until then, feel like absolute arse and don't feel like doing anything.
What are you guys chasing with kratom? I'm taking it right now for methadone withdrawal and it only offers a tiny bit of relief from that. I'm on day 8 and I'm already decreasing it's use to twice a day and in a day or two make it once or none a day. My doses were about 2 grams. I don't get any high or buzz from it, and it only slightly helps my withdrawal

Hey tho...are they happy is the question...I can say given my situations I have lived and am living my absolute best life..I think alot of negativity about addiction is just stigma. But also being a "functional addict" is a hellish experience aswell
When I came off opiates, it took me three weeks to get my energy level to normal. Then, I had about two months where there was an excess of energy. It took about three months to get a full night's sleep, only getting short naps in the beginning and gradually getting more sleep. After about six months, I was feeling better than ever. To anyone struggling: don't give up the fight. More than likely, you will lapse or even relapse. Just continue the fight. Giving up is a sentence of misery and death. I had several relapses before getting it all right. When you go to bed, tell yourself, "I love me, I am free, and I will stay clean." Do this as you fall asleep. This helps immensely, as your subconscious mind will be programmed with it.

Just remember the harder you punish your body the longer it takes to heal it. Don’t even expect to feel like normal within the first 30 days you’ll set yourself up for failure. Give yourself three months with zero expectations of feeling good if you come out of it early, consider yourself lucky and take it as a lesson to never use this evil chemical ever again
It's hard to be active when you feel like crap. I'm almost 60 days off of suboxone and maybe this drug has just ruined me. Weird stuff like muscle twitching, weakness in legs, abnormal movements of toes as if something was touching my brain that controls toe movement. No good appetite anymore.

Have been clean of opioids for over 4 years, after a 30 year stint on methadone. A long, slow taper (mine took almost 9 months) kept acute withdrawal symptoms to a minimum. You might hit a few decreases that take you longer to stabilize, which slows the taper, but that's normal. For me, the real fun started after the taper with PAWS symptoms that lasted over 1.5 years. I was prepared for a fight and a fight is what I got. And it's tough fighting back when you don't even have the energy to get out of bed. It took some seriously pent up anger to fight back instead of relapsing. Now that I look back at that part of my life, I can't express how grateful I am to have made it through the tough times. Now, I sleep great, workout 4 times a week and have returned to "normal" except for low motivation/energy. Had my testosterone checked, bloodwork all good, even spoke to a psychiatrist. Nobody can figure it out. I can't complain though, I'm still a lot happier (and healthier) than I ever was on methadone. Plus, no more chronic constipation, tooth decay or hating the summer (methadone made me hot and uncomfortable, even when it was 70 degrees out).
Well done, buddy, awesome testimonial. 30 yrs on methadone here (apart from 12 months in jail), I was pushed back onto methadone upon release from jail in 2005, under the guise of 'relapse prevention' the pressure to be released on a script was outrageous, on reflection. I've just reduced (at home) in 3 weeks down from over 100 per day to currently 16 per day. I'm almost stable now on 16, I'm now gonna slow detox to zero. I dread the AWS but more so, in a way, the PAWS because I recall how long the PAWS was in jail back in 2004. I'm super determined to finally get free of this dependance
@@hashtag3417 Yeah, definitely go slow on the taper. I found that delaying decreases until you're stable on the previous dose helped A LOT in minimizing AWS. The PAWS was brutal (which makes sense considering a 30 year dependence on methadone), but they have comfort meds that can be prescribed if needed. With PAWS, the recovery takes time, and it's a roller coaster ride, but every day gets a little better. Good luck to you and stay strong.
@theblackpit3159 Nice one buddy. I've just managed to argue my case to go on BUVIDAL (Sublocade) end August. We get it free in the UK. Hopefully I be riding of this monkey in my back this time. Take care bud
Getting good sleep while detoxing from methadone without sleeping pills is virtually impossible! I know because I'm going thru it right now! I do not wish to take any sleep aids. I've tried home sleep remedies and none worked so far. It's been very tough because I work 12 hour shifts and I started my detox at the beginning of my work week! I didn't sleep at all working 12s . I should have told them what was happening and took a week off work. Anyways it's been living he'll for a month now. I am pushing myself because it's true sitting on the couch is the worst thing you can do! I promise you that once you are mentally ready to stop the methadone it will be a brutal battle but you can get free !!!! Listen to uplifting music, meditate, pray up, and think about all the extra income you will have to invest into yourself! I love everyone that's suffering from addiction! I am so sorry you will eventually have to face this! What goes up must come down!

I knew he was going to mention exercise first.. I've been through opiate withdrawal a hundred times and only once I was forced to get a job within a month of quitting by my parents and it was the only time I bounced back and quickly regained my strength and the depression went away and I didn't start gaining weight.. everything.. I got a physical job doing construction cleanup and felt tip top in a very short time, about ten days.. It's hard to start getting active and you feel every pain in your body I know but, you gotta do it as soon as you're able to walk about. Actually getting out of the house is the best way to do it also but if you cannot then do what you gotta do. Remember any little bit helps and is better than nothing..
Yup after about 2 weeks I always start small walking to the gas station for a soda or shoot some basketball can help u feel better during the day n get sleep at night. I'm about 2 months clean but haven't been working for 4 months. I'm not in a hurry to get back working because I worry when I start getting money again imm mess up lol.
What he said is the only thing that really works. Was on heroin for fifteen years but i was very high functioning and worked 60+ hours a week and even bought my first home. Since quitting i dont wanna do anything and hate life because im not living in just existing. Then i started working out and it took me out of my depression fast and now it feels like my mitochondria has trippled and my energy is back.
Tell us you've never withdrawn without telling us. You cannot sleep let alone even sit comfortably for 2 seconds. If you are withdrawing from opiates, there's zero sleep for a long time. It's a nightmare. I'm pretty sure I have one of the longest records of staying awake not by choice. Over 30 days of zero sleep. Try again "doc"
If you exercise it speeds up the process of returning to normal. I basically felt like myself again after quitting a 7 month fent habit after about a week and a half. My energy came back with a vengeance.
It’s a battle inside and with your own mind, your brain is lying to you trying to get you to do anything to make it go back to the way it was when you were sniffing bags or blues so it doesn’t have to deal with discomfort. You have to fight your mind and exert control over your own thoughts and actions. Dominate the mind and your body will follow , im 22 days sober today still feeling the effects of my body and mind trying to get back to normal , a little emotional but no cravings , low energy, I lost a lot of weight getting clean tho I was at 155ish and down to 135
My pain management doctor , after 2 failed back surgeries & 2 failed spinal cord Stimulator trials , prescribed me Fentanyl & Percocet. I’ve been going to the same Pain management clinic for 11 years. Never asked for more meds or a higher dose in 11 years. I had my 3 month check up last month. Everything was normal except . They never sent my meds to the same pharmacy I’ve used for 11 years. I called 5 days and they just told me your prescriptions are pending and will be sent in. That was weeks ago and I’ve gone into withdrawal so bad I feel like I’m dying. I’ve never gotten high from my meds they just dulled the back & nerve pain and my Arachnoiditis . IDK what to do or how to get through this.
Hope you are ok . Same kind of thing happened to me , pain clinic disorganized , crappy staff , they forget my phone appt for meds and by the time they called the next day I was in withdrawal . I decided to keep going and get through this and quit the clinic . It was unethical to let a patient go cold turkey ...
This makes sense I got so much energy from doing opiates ,I loved it cuz I felt unstoppable, however withdrawal from H n other fetty ish was torcher, I'm going thru a methadone withdrawal after a generation on n off the clinic....H i could use a few times n be good ,fetty i needed every other hour or i be sick
Struggling with the insomnia and low energy hard right now.. probly 30th time ive put my body through this... steadfast will power in every other aspect of life. Gotta take back control of my brain. Anyone reading this, we deserve better and the rich fucks who profit off keeping us hooked only continue to.benefit if we use. God bless. 11 days in
3 weeks post methadone detox and I feel like I'm in perpetual motion between breathing to calm to stop the jittery but not having any energy to actually do anything! Every task means 10 minutes breathwork 🤦
currently on a methadone prescription at the moment, my issue started from braking a vertebra on my back/neck area, got onto Tramadol.. ended up taking around 10-12 at a time, causing me to have several overdoses which in turn caused me to have seizures, the seizures caused me to break my nose, smash my toe nails off! i have 3 of the overdoses until it pushed me to want to get off! i am now 17 months into my methadone program.. and coming off this is one of the hardest things I've had to do in life, with my fast metabolism I struggle for a dose to last me a day, so i get a good few hours a day of early withdrawal... not had a day off work from it yet, I have 2 kids so that's my motivation to do better!!
I feel your pain I know exactly how u feel I was on methadone 7 years and I am also a fast matabolizer, I never did get a full 24 hours of comfort from my dose. Even at my highest dose I would wake up with some body achs everyday and all stiff I wouldn't even want to bend over to do something untill I got my methadone in me. As I decreased my dose it slowly got worse. Some people suggested just drink your methadone in the evening or night but I always wanted it soon as I got up. For me it seemed like during sleep is when my body wore the methadone off fast. I ended up with 6 carries a week so during my tapper I discovered that doing split dose was much better than drinking it all in the mourning it made it last longer and alow me not to hurt as fast. I used to drink about 2/ 3 I the mouning and the last 1/3 at night. I did that majority of my tapper untill I finished. The best part of methadone pain relief only last aprox 12 hours so the split dose is oftin given to people like us or to people on methadone for pain management. I still found the tapper difficult and long but had I had to drink all my dose at once the whole time I don't think I could have come off it. I suggest you try it it's a game changer and I feel it can help u that boost in the evening or night makes all the difference.
@@Anninukichild I think tramadol is like one of the only opiates which if abused can cause the brain seizures.. would just wake up in random places but unfortunately sometimes family members find you mid seizure which I can only imagine on the other end it can be a tough watch!
@@kkrollingskkrollings3173 yeah I might have to try it, I'm currently down to 30ml a day at present, every time I try to reduce it slowly but surly takes it's toll! working full time, being a dad in the evening, I can't afford to be in withdrawal so at the moment I am sticking where I am but I will try your method for sure when I start to reduce again! cheers.
I’m fighting for my life it feels like only 5 days out from my opioid addiction I’m 27 and I’m taking zubsolv and moving around but eatings a bit hard my stomach blowtorches every time I eat and the pains excruciating my hands still shake hope I don’t go backwards feels like I’m 77 rn😢❤
Try kratom, it may provide some relief, but research it first. Some people abuse kratom. I'm taking it for methadone withdrawal and when it feels too intense it offers a little relief. I'm on day 8 and I still feel terrible. Some symptoms are easing up but the lack of energy is what's killing me but I'm committed to not use anything.
Update : feeling 100x better I ended up getting a sublocade injection lasts 1 month no maintenance at all finally feel free for once in my lil 27 yrs on earth it feels like I’m back to my old self this injection is life altering 💯
100mg down to 40mg and i jumped off 7 days ago I can't sleep, don't have any energy. Like I've slept 4hrs since is there something temporary to take for sleep? Benadryl don't phase me. Afraid of loosing the plot.
Red then green then white. Strongest to weakest then quit. You will withdrawal from the kratom but it won’t be as bad as opiates. Good luck. Exercise and make sure you eat. The insomnia is the worst part
@@scryndz6556 thanks ! Went cold turkey . What helped me the most was running / sprinting and hitting the weights , I already hit the gym and exercise for over 20 years . Regular excercise is the best thing, it also helps you sleep later...but trying to do even a minimum of excercise, like getting off the sofa, is really difficult. Oh , he's just said it anyway. It's hard work though, it really is. I am still struggling after being "clean" (medically assisted) for getting on for nearly 3 years ! (I was on Heroin, Méthadone and Benzos for nearly thirty years though !)
13 days off 24 Tramadol tablets a day went of cold turkey and let me tell you it was the hardest thing I had done in my life … but there is light at the end of the tunnel…. Am getting back my sleep now after 13 days and my energy levels are 3 out of 10 my normal self I can’t work as I did before I can’t play with my kids but I feel like it’s coming back slowly …. Are you still feeling better? I have it prescribed because of my back and I have to work. I could not work without it. I have spinal stenosis. But I don't wont to take it. I only take 2 every 6 hours. Sometimes 3 but I never go over the amount prescribed. I feel like I couldn't work without it. I'm on my feet and constantly lifting patients.

15 yrs on prescribed oppies and tired of reaching for them. Can I quit? Can I survive the process? I think it's time to move forward, pain or not. My doc says I'm in real pain, why stop? But something inside says "get off this medication". I get relief. I take as prescribed. But still.... I hate reaching 4 times a day!!!!! Any comments are welcomed!
Have you been able to stretch out the time between doses or get to where you’re only taking three per day? If so, you could go a little bit longer between refills each time to help yourself stay slightly reduced, and keep going further from there.
I found the lowest dose of Kratom that relieved WDs. I reduced by 0.1 g per dose per day. I held steady when I got down to 0.5 g/dose. I stayed there for almost a week, until I felt ready to finish. Droped buy 0.05g per dose until 0.1g. I kept taking that tiny dose to cope with PAWs. I know this won't work for everyone but it worked for me. I do not know what I would have done without Kratom. I was addicted to morphine.
How bad were the Kratom withdrawls? I take 10g a day and I’m trying to ween off now. I tried cold turkying and I made it 19 hours before the depression was so bad I couldn’t take it. The physical wasn’t too bad because I don’t take a lot, but the mental is bad..
I was on 60 grams per day of very strong Kratom and was extremely addicted for over 11 years. I have 5 weeks off of it now but have zero motivation and am sleepy all the time. I force myself to walk for 1 hour/day and it is sometimes like pure hell. Depression sucks as well. I came across this video because I’m trying to figure out when I’ll be able to experience joy and interest in things again. I’m 63 years old and have been told it could take me up to 2 years. I pray to God that is not the case. I hope things get better for you soon. God bless you.

Just got back from Serbia after 8 day detox and naltrexone implant. Sadly 2 weeks and time to get back to work. Makes sense to get myself back in the gym to try making them natural chemicals again.
I dont know why but whenever i stop i get a shit ton of energy and feel incredible for a while and then i get the physical symptoms, feel like absolute garbage for almost a week, and then bounce back again towards the end of about 4-5 days i feel amazing energy and motivation again👀
Ive been weaning off of methadone maintenance for over a year slowly & just jumped off at 6mgs. I am still in withdrawal but looking forward to getting my energy back for sure .. been a long road 10 years addiction & 5 on methadone clinic.
I came off for almost 2 years. Then had to go back on from an accident. Now im coming off again. Its easier this time because i got a taste of how much better life can be. It took a while but when you get your natural *happiness* (endorphins) back, its like life has come back.

God bless you.❤

good advice im in hell i ruined my life its so hard if only i could go back a year
Thank God you’re alive. It will get better. Look up-cry-love-cry some more and thank God you’re alive. It will get better.
If the answer is “eat well and exercise”….then, that basically translates as “we got nothing, except for just letting time help…maybe.”
The only worse thing to see besides “exercise” is if one of the treatments for something is “deep breathing.”….that is a sure sign there is no treatment but they don’t want to be harsh.
Never any truer words ever spoken, thank you.
Thanks for your feedback, Crystal!

Restless legs. I always feel like I need to crack/break my toes
Thanks doc your videos are helping me a lot coming off Suboxone

20 days today! MEGA DOSES OF BUFFERED VITAMIN C and 900 mg of liposomal alpha lipoic acid. I was able to go out today!
In a day or two going to 0mg 👍😅😅😅 just want some good sleep (that's why I take it in the morning, so my body is semi-programmed to sleep at night on its own, besides mornings for any time I detox are THE WORST 💯
BTW w the taper it was almost too easy, I've been to reheb and detoxes over 20x in Vegas since 2018...never was on subs for more than a few days, the maintenance subutex was EXACTLY what I needed, it's SOOO much easier for me, uuuffff, so glad I said no to methadone, yikes 😳😳😳

Stop taking the suboxone. The withdrawals are worse than the hydrocodone trust me. Get some kratom if you can. Exercise to help with the insomnia.
I tried and have before but I ben back on them 12 yrs and it's the only way I can function and get shit done.i work out alot and work excessive but if I quit im lifeless emotional depressed scared panicked when I'm down to 1 or 2 at the end of my prescription I panic....

Your energy level will increase with time. Just stay clean
Exactly my speech
Did you use anything for detoxification or did it all yourself? Low energy is the worse

I've been detoxing myself it's my third day first night was unbearable
Just remember the harder you punish your body the longer it takes to heal it. Don’t even expect to feel like normal within the first 30 days you’ll set yourself up for failure. Give yourself three months with zero expectations of feeling good if you come out of it early, consider yourself lucky and take it as a lesson to never use this evil chemical ever again
focus all of that anxiety and anger towards forcing yourself to be active. it really works.
Came off Buprenorphine in January and have all the symptoms you described. Thanks for motivating me - I'll walk the two miles to my meeting tonight instead of taking the bus.
I wish this drug was available in my country.

@@reginamushi6582no you dont.don't.. it seems like a life saver but the best thing for the body is to get off the H or fentyal and after a month you'll be good.. taking suboxone you end up staying on it for months or years and the withdrawal is worst and longer than street opiates.. ive been on and off suboxone so many times I lost count and it's still a ball and chain
I recommend tapering to everyone. Very mild withdrawal effects. It's longer than going cold turkey but much easier
Check your thyroid levels..
4 years clean and I am still amazed I can fall asleep naturally without heroin 💪🏻
I encourage you to try EFT ~ emotional freedom techniques or Tapping. Many videos and apps to help. It's a game changer!

What ended up happening?
Hope you are ok . Same kind of thing happened to me , pain clinic disorganized , crappy staff , they forget my phone appt for meds and by the time they called the next day I was in withdrawal . I decided to keep going and get through this and quit the clinic . It was unethical to let a patient go cold turkey ...

How are you doing now? It's been about a month since your post.
I’m on day 43 post detox from Methadone. Had been on opioids for 17 years. How are you feeling now?
currently on a methadone prescription at the moment, my issue started from braking a vertebra on my back/neck area, got onto Tramadol.. ended up taking around 10-12 at a time, causing me to have several overdoses which in turn caused me to have seizures, the seizures caused me to break my nose, smash my toe nails off! i have 3 of the overdoses until it pushed me to want to get off! i am now 17 months into my methadone program.. and coming off this is one of the hardest things I've had to do in life, with my fast metabolism I struggle for a dose to last me a day, so i get a good few hours a day of early withdrawal... not had a day off work from it yet, I have 2 kids so that's my motivation to do better!!
Yes, I can understand. That's scary. Isn't tramadol in high doses linked to seizures?
@@Anninukichild I think tramadol is like one of the only opiates which if abused can cause the brain seizures.. would just wake up in random places but unfortunately sometimes family members find you mid seizure which I can only imagine on the other end it can be a tough watch!

Took me 5 days to get past all the crappy parts . 1 week or week and a half and I was good ! 1 month clean and totally back to normal , never touching that shit again
@@scryndz6556 did it cold turkey , and yes the gym helped me a lot . I was already hitting the weights and running / sprints for 20 years , being healthy helps a lot . 1 month clean
If you're sober, no suboxone. Take a micro micro dose before bed. It'll help rewire. Seriously.
Of sub?
Don’t give up for you and your family everyday it will get better
Oh did you feel like you were short of breath when you started? What did you feel like coming off? Tired all the time? You should of tapered off.
On day 7 I feel fine now went though fucking hell and now I’m fine so I’m happy hahaha I’m never going back the pain I endured minute by Minute 4 strait days of no sleep tossing turning every minute dry heaving for hours cuz my stomach is cramped couldn’t eat shit but soup couldn’t shit I’m never fucking going back to that shit again I got no energy rn but I feel normal again no more aches and pains just queasy stomach but ya I endured that shit so I don’t have to ever again
Yol,, this a day 3 since trying codeine,, and having this symptoms,, how can I deal with it,, I don't wanna go back again,,, help
@@dannpurvis I know that feeling well. Know this. It will pass and it won't take 2 years in my humble opinion. You have done well. If I was you (and in a way I was) I would find a co-counselor. I don't know where you do this in the USA but there are groups at many universities. Look for University Counseling Services:
If you're near a university or college, check if they offer any counseling services or support groups for the community.
I swear this was the best help for me. Let me know if you need help finding a co-counselor
Why did you start kratom?

Even after a week, I had trouble climbing one flight of stairs before I started using I would climb 21 floors of steps six times for my exercise in the morning. Opioids are brutal the withdrawal is hell.
Just got back from Serbia after 8 day detox and naltrexone implant. Sadly 2 weeks and time to get back to work. Makes sense to get myself back in the gym to try making them natural chemicals again.
Best thing I did was get back in the gym.
How u doing with implant?
I dont know why but whenever i stop i get a shit ton of energy and feel incredible for a while and then i get the physical symptoms, feel like absolute garbage for almost a week, and then bounce back again towards the end of about 4-5 days i feel amazing energy and motivation again👀
I used to get like that back in the day,, but as the years went on,, that faded,
How’s your penis does it go back working fine ?
Yea when u have heroin u do feel like u have energy and when ur in withdrawal every step feels like walking through mud. Interesting
Dear Sir,thanks for your advice, countless withdrawal, polytoxico,I agree 100% of what you say!
I subscribed! (Better safe than sorry)😂❤
I almost think when I finally got covid last year I went 3 days with nothing and didn't even realize it.Soon as I got well I took more. Why is this????
Ive been weaning off of methadone maintenance for over a year slowly & just jumped off at 6mgs. I am still in withdrawal but looking forward to getting my energy back for sure .. been a long road 10 years addiction & 5 on methadone clinic.
I came off for almost 2 years. Then had to go back on from an accident. Now im coming off again. Its easier this time because i got a taste of how much better life can be. It took a while but when you get your natural *happiness* (endorphins) back, its like life has come back.
Please how did you get the endorphins back and how long did it take you?
@@speedoflight3395 are you off it or on low dose? It took a week of no sleep, 2 weeks of feeling like crap and after a month I was working. Probably 3 months and I was feeling normal. What's your situation?
@@Josh-rn1em I took opioids for straight 6 years and I’m currently 35 days clean. Recently I’ve been feeling really bad and it seems that withdrawing from opioids is even boosting the sad emotional i.e it’s making my sad emotions even more intense than it should be. How long were you taking illicit drugs and did you get better without hitting the gym?
@@speedoflight3395 that'll pass soon. I was on them about the same amount of time as you . Just keep going. If you take opiates again you just need to go through all this again. Try to go for walks and stuff like that because any exercise really helps. It took a while for methadone to go out but it takes shorter time for oxycodone and stuff like that. Just keep going and soon you will be fine again. You've done 35 days in another 35. You'll be fine, just do the same thing again
@@speedoflight3395 just keep going. It'll take a couple months. It goes away gradually. I took Gabapentin and it helped so much. I could sleep again.
Nutrition, herbs, physical exercise, and having people to talk to. It is the worst thing to ever go through. Opiate withdrawals are awful. If you have made it past 3 weeks, and still feel like poop, try your best not to go back. For me day 15 seem like the 50% feeling better Mark.
Thank you doctor I've been having this problem and I'm really surprised to see it on RUclips cuz it just popped on by itself I've got addicted to hydrocodone and I've been trying really hard to stop taking them and I'm going through pretty much hell but I know that I have to do it and your talk really did help me a lot and I mean a lot can you help me to really understand the situation so much better now I really want to say thank you a lot❤
2 weeks clean from kicking Suboxone cold turkey now I have zero energy I can't do regular tasks and the insomnia is crazy
7 months off methadone and still have no motivation/energy to the point i dont even talk much
