Isnt there a loop at the top of the BCD, by the handle, which should be looped over the tank nozzle/valve release ? So if that tank does get lose its still attached to be BCD and not to you via reg?
Hello and thanks for the comment. Some people do use it for that but if you own your BCD, what that is used for is to set the BCD height to exactly where you like it. You setup the BCD and get the right cylinder height and then adjust that small strap so anytime you slide it over the valve, you don't need to use your knee to hold the BCD in place and you get the perfect height every time.
It's amazing how many rental regs are set up backwards. I saw someone i knew setting up for a checkout dive and the 1st stage was hitting her head. I was moving the hoses around when her instructor came over probably thinking i was putting her kit together for her. Then stopped when he saw i fixed it.
I don't remember as I have been teaching RAID for a few years now. The reason we made this is because of how many new divers or divers who don't often set up their gear wrong.
"Air to Hair" is how I remember lol
Thanks for the quick tips

What does PADI actually teach, making this kind of videos necessary?
