Fabulous cardio workout! This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I have multiple lower body issues in the lower spine and knees. I’ve missed doing cardio because I can only march for a little bit. If I do too much, that’s when exercise works against me because pain takes over and I can’t do anything until the flare up calms down. God bless you both for all you’re doing for us seniors. I had hip surgery two weeks ago and this seated cardio has been invaluable to me. I do it everyday. Today I used small weights and my goal is to it standing eventually. I'm so glad I found this workout! I am recovering from a massive hip surgery,and my exercise has been limited to physical therapy. I haven't been able to do much in the way of cardio for quite a while, which was making me unhappy. This workout fits perfectly! I only did half today, since it was my first time out, but can gradually increase, and then eventually add weights. It was hard to find seated workouts that didn't involve legs or break hip precautions! Thanks so much!

I had been wondering what I could do to strengthen my upper body from a chair, and this workout is what I was looking for. My sciatic issues flair up from time to time and through stretches find relief but full body workouts aggravate the situation. I usually work out first thing in the morning before breakfast, but I slept late today and so didn't get a chance to work out until about 5 PM. I got in a good workout then, though, starting with your "Easy 5 Minute Warm Up Exercises for Seniors & Beginners," then about 10 minutes each of lower and upper body strength work, and this "new to me" cardio workout with some extra stretches at the end. I didn't try using any weights with this one, but I had used 5-lb. dumbbells right before this. I stayed standing for this workout and did move my feet quite a bit -- especially during the marching/running parts. I alternated between marching and a light jog and varied my pace depending on how I was feeling at the moment. The health app on my phone tallied over 2,000 steps during the full workout, even though I did most of the dumbbell exercises sitting down. I expect to be doing some more walking outside while I do some errands in a little while, so I'm sure I'll be adding to my step count then.🙂(Sunday, April 7, 2024)

I can't do my daily walking routine right now and I was looking for a cardio workout for just the upper body since walking can be very painful at this time. I’m so glad I found your site as I broke the base of my 5th metatarsal and unable to put any weight on my foot ( in a boot) for several more weeks. Are the side stretches/exercises ok to do with osteoporosis in the lumbar L1-L4 as I used to do Russian Twists with weights and read that I shouldn’t do any twisting. I look forward to doing more of your videos while I heal my foot! Many thanks to you and your mom!

Fabulous cardio workout! This is exactly what I’ve been looking for. I have multiple lower body issues in the lower spine and knees. I’ve missed doing cardio because I can only march for a little bit. If I do too much, that’s when exercise works against me because pain takes over and I can’t do anything until the flare up calms down. God bless you both for all you’re doing for us seniors. I had hip surgery two weeks ago and this seated cardio has been invaluable to me. I do it everyday. Today I used small weights and my goal is to it standing eventually. I'm so glad I found this workout! I am recovering from a massive hip surgery,and my exercise has been limited to physical therapy. I haven't been able to do much in the way of cardio for quite a while, which was making me unhappy. This workout fits perfectly! I only did half today, since it was my first time out, but can gradually increase, and then eventually add weights. It was hard to find seated workouts that didn't involve legs or break hip precautions! Thanks so much!

I had been wondering what I could do to strengthen my upper body from a chair, and this workout is what I was looking for. My sciatic issues flair up from time to time and through stretches find relief but full body workouts aggravate the situation. I usually work out first thing in the morning before breakfast, but I slept late today and so didn't get a chance to work out until about 5 PM. I got in a good workout then, though, starting with your "Easy 5 Minute Warm Up Exercises for Seniors & Beginners," then about 10 minutes each of lower and upper body strength work, and this "new to me" cardio workout with some extra stretches at the end. I didn't try using any weights with this one, but I had used 5-lb. dumbbells right before this. I stayed standing for this workout and did move my feet quite a bit -- especially during the marching/running parts. I alternated between marching and a light jog and varied my pace depending on how I was feeling at the moment. The health app on my phone tallied over 2,000 steps during the full workout, even though I did most of the dumbbell exercises sitting down. I expect to be doing some more walking outside while I do some errands in a little while, so I'm sure I'll be adding to my step count then.🙂(Sunday, April 7, 2024)

Thank you so much for this video! I turn 65 in November and I've never had any major knee issues until now (possible torn meniscus). I can't do my daily walking routine right now and I was looking for a cardio workout for just the upper body since walking can be very painful at this time.

I’m so glad I found your site as I broke the base of my 5th metatarsal and unable to put any weight on my foot ( in a boot) for several more weeks. Are the side stretches/exercises ok to do with osteoporosis in the lumbar L1-L4 as I used to do Russian Twists with weights and read that I shouldn’t do any twisting. I look forward to doing more of your videos while I heal my foot! Many thanks to you and your mom!
