    • @b-rare
      @b-rare 21 день назад +11

      That block cheats from going the depth and actually the best push up is if his hands are on two blocks so he can get an even deeper stretch in the push up. But when you’re doing 500 then yeah 90 degree elbows and away you go to set records I get it lol

    • @saisatya4917
      @saisatya4917 21 день назад +4

      @ ..but at least it is really great he did something with bare hands with same accuracy from the evening which I have never seen so far. He did the pushups continuously without even a break with same rhythm. We should really appreciate that,

    • @b-rare
      @b-rare 21 день назад +2

      @ I agree that would classify as a push up but it’s not a very good one but yes if you’re trying to see how many you can do without stopping that’s how you’d perform the push up . If you want to build a bigger chest don’t do that go for more of a stretch / deeper

    • @RV-vx9ek
      @RV-vx9ek 20 дней назад

      @b-rare Does it really classify as cheating? That's a regular push up. Anything deeper and that's a different variation of a push up, therefore not a regular push up.

    This is the best push up feat I've seen on RUclips. 500 successive pushups without going to knees once and maintaining form. Full pushup, full extension, full downward movement to the brick. Constant pace throughout of about 23 pushups per minute. He didn't speed through, say 30, then rest on his hands for forty seconds. Constant pace. There were intermittent brief pauses of several seconds, so his average rate of doing one pushup was around one second. That is much more fatiguing that pressing out pushups at the rate of, say two a second, then resting. What amazed me was the fatigue and pain he was in on number 300. And then he did 200 more. Risk of injury is very high with this effort. I wonder if he had shoulder pain for a period of a month to six weeks after this. One way to continue despite fatigued triceps/shoulders is to shift the angle of the hands and of the elbows to stress less fatigued angles. But he never does this. His angles are constant throughout. That is very difficult but helps to prevent injury from flaring elbows to perpendicular to body, which will injure the shoulder.

    It's the half a second rest/pause at the top of each rep that makes this possible. The pause gives your body just enough time to rush in oxygenated blood and remove waste from the muscles to do another rep. I would call this "endurance strength" and you have to train for it like any other type of strength. This training is outside of conventional bodybuilding methods, but I have done it with a few exercises, and it gives your muscles a tremendous pump and can boost your low-rep strength as well. The overall effect is similar to "super sets" weight training and is great if you are an advanced lifter and your body no longer responds well to conventional sets.

    Doing all this while staying in position is hard AF. Respect. You probably got a pump all over your body, the core pump alone the abs, and then theres the wrists, killer pain.
