KISS Revenge Tour
Dress Rehearsal Pro-Shot Raw Footage
Stabler Arena

September 30, 1992 Видеоклипы
At the time we never understood this is the second best era of Kiss. Pauls at his vocal best, the songs are fact and good. The whole band is tight and as always doing amazing live shows. You could even argue this is Kiss in their absolute PRIME
Paul's voice was in tip top shape from Creatures through Revenge
Yet the tour bombed. I was at this rehearsal and the first show. Was a super cool experience. I met Eric trying to get in and he told a group of us he couldn't help us out, I still got in anway and met my other two friends who had snuck in with the press group that came on all at once.
From the videos I've seen all the shows looked packed. They should've just played smaller places in smaller markets instead of arenas! I prefer to see my fav bands
in clubs or theaters instead of big arenas anyway. The fans are real fans and crowds are more into it. @@kawada1
Speak for yourself. Most recognized them going back to a heavier place.
No, unmasked through crazy nights
Revenge era KISS is the best KISS!
Great time to be a KISS fan band sounded great and eventually lead up to the unplugged an Reunion Tour!
No….
Apparently the people didn’t agree.
2nd best 😎
😂
Bruce and Eric brought a kick ass attitude to the band.
Gene also recommitted to the band and spent less time on his other ventures
The album Revenge and the tour that followed was a great time for Kiss. A catalogue full of all those classics in one go-cart. This was the best non makeup version of kiss!
Definitely a great sounding tour! They seemed hungry and revived musically! Played with attitude!
Best KISS aera! They sounded strong and well. Also Bruce and his little solo was amazing.
Definitely on point for this tour! They sounded amazing!
Wow...Pauls chin looks brand new here.
looks like he had balls implanted 🤣
lots of camera time here to show it off!!
My favorite period of KISS. Their best period as far as sound and raw energy.
They were definitely reenergized
I think KISS was at their live peak here…legitimately good sounding band 😊
They definitely were firing on all cylinders on this tour!
They were better with Eric Carr but Singer was good choice.
@@elvinposey5251Singer gets shit for being a "hired gun." Like that's a easy thing. His resume is solid.
Alice Cooper,Black Sabbath,etc...don't have just anybody in their band.
He was solid.🤟
Best look Gene ever had during non-make-up era. Paul looked cool w/the bandana. Surprised he didn’t wear it more on that tour.
Best look for the entire band non-makeup era
Gene se rejuveneció el rostro. Se hizo una rinoplastía. Se veía genial.
Meh, the bandana looked kinda gay.

Besides the fact i played with Eric Singer a couple of nights in 1998, i do actually admire him for playing at the first Badlands album…That is really the shit.
That Badlanda Album is awesome! And Badlands still has to be the loudest concert I've ever attended at L'amour in Brooklyn!
I saw Badlands right after Singer left. That debut release was indeed the shit.I wore out a couple cassettes.😊🤟
2nd wasn't bad either.
Indeed that first Badlands album was FANTASTIC!!
KISS’ best live era. Bruce played awesome, their best look of the non make up era, they sounded great.
They were definitely fixing on all cylinders
Primera imágenes de kiss q no había visto en mucho tiempo he quedado muy satisfecho kiss forever
Back when they were still a real band! Thanks for posting.
Probably the best they ever sounded
Yeah I wish it would have stayed this way. They are like a completely different band now. They should have reverted back to this after the reunion tour
@@The_Original_Alex_Channel 🤦🏽♂️
@@The_Original_Alex_Channel .
Can't argue with that!
@@The_Original_Alex_Channelthey never should’ve done the reunion tour, or at the very least done it without makeup. So many interviews over 15 years saying they’d never go back in time, play “dress up” or “put on Halloween costumes” only to throw Bruce & Eric away. I respect Bruce so much
"Sucking it dry" is what they are doing now. But it's their last tour so the only reason I'm okay with that now.... BUt damn, nothing can beat 1992 KISS !!!
Yes Revenge Era was awesome!
Is Elton John sucking it dry lol. This is a cool period but it's small time no cared about Kiss in 1992 unfortunately. They absolutely had to bring Ace and Peter back and it was awesome
@@jonvisser1509 True.
Definitely a nod to the ‘And Justice for All’ stage here…looks good - and Eric Singer brought the band to a new level 🤟🏻
KISS invented the big stage show so I doubt it was a nod to Metallica!
Vinnie Vincents writing had a lot to do with it. But KISS was on their best.
KISS has always sounded good even when they didn't. I understand the Ace and Peter thing. During the Dynasty Tour KISS was like Pizza *When it is good it is really good and when it is bad it was still pretty good* Having said that Revenge is their strongest sounding concert tour in my opinion. I love the heavy sound and if they had the sound equipment they have now back in the 70's they would have blown everyone not just off the stage but off the planet as well. I am glad that they are retiring now (will this be true, again . . .) I do wish KISS had done *Kissin Time* as a second or third song on their set list. So anyways thanks for sharing this.
The HITS tour was a close 2nd, liked the stage show more on that tour, but the set list is better here just because the revenge songs are included. Revenge is their best non make up lp by far, and is in my top 2 with Creatures. Depends on which day of the week it is which lp i like more.
I would have to say that KISS during the "Revenge" era was excellent. I remember someone making a comment about learning the guitar parts to "Unholy", and the person said that the song was way more complex than he thought. It's not "3 chords and a cloud of dust", as Elvis Presley once said about the album KISS "Alive".
This was the "truest" version of KISS, and I say that not to take anything away from Eric Carr. Had he lived, he would have certainly been there for this. But the Revenge album is much more organic and lacking in any gimmicks the 80s era would have inherently taken on.
No huge reverb and delay. The drums are dry and natural sounding in the mix. The guitar has a traditional Marshall sounding overdrive. No more "Rockman Ace" thin sounding, overdone reverb and delay. There is nothing hiding Bruce and Paul's playing, and overdrive levels are within reason -- so much so that the tonal integrity of the guitars rings true.
Vocals are awesome. Bass has that great Ampeg growl.
At this time, this band had nothing to prove. Makeup era was more than a decade in the past. The competitive guitar acrobatics of the 80s had passed. They looked normal and were just interested in writing and playing music.
The tour saw them return to the normal tempos on all the classic songs. Gene and Paul didn't want to speed up the tempos to prove they could compete with mainstream "metal," which I think is the right move, but then it leaves people blaming Eric Carr for those songs being so fast. It wasn't him.
I'd have loved to have seen Eric Carr drumming those songs at normal tempo, like he did on the last makeup tour with Ace in the band. But at least tour footage still exists where the details of the old KISS tunes could shine through without rush.
Eric Singer is a continuation of the high-level skill that Eric Carr brought to the band. I love them both equally.
Definitely a great era although short liver era of KISS! Saw them several times of this tour and they sounded amazing!
Bruce . Fantástico 🎉🎉🔥🔥🔥🎸
Nice to hear and see a professionally-filmed live performance with no overdubs or edits! They actually sing fairly decently. I thought the Revenge album was great. It's a shame they don't play any of the post-makeup songs anymore.
First time seeing this. KISS rehearsal with fans. pretty cool. More laid back then normal concert. Gene seems relaxed. Paul is still rocking out. I never thought Singer played older KISS
songs as good as Carr did. I think Eric had more of a Peter Criss style but with a heavier style. KISS became KISS again with Hot in Shade tour and then Revenge.
I always said Revenge tour was the best they sounded live! They seemed re-energized and had a chip on their shoulder!
Revenge is my second favorite KISS album after Destroyer...
Got all kiss lp's..cd's..alive 1...alive2.... alive3...but best are alive 2....alive3..carnival of souls..❤😮😊
To me Revenge is the best KISS album, and one of my 20 favorite hard rock albums OAT.
Great Album
kiss is kiss i love kiss in the 70s and 80s the best
Definitely a large part of my life!
El revenge es del 92
Revenge 92
Paul is on fire. Bruce and Eric are technically brilliant as always. Oh, and Revenge Simmons is the best Simmons.
Indeed. When I saw the video for "Unholy" I told my roommate. They look and sound heavy as he'll.
KISS was back!
Paul and Gene looking so fresh and still young looking.
Paul was also had his vocal best around this time
Revenge is for me one if not the greatest kiss album. Eric Singer gave a killer touch to it, you can see Paul giving the classical Kiss speech and Eric is acting unaware, the guy is so talented, funny, energetic, and he is saying how excited he is the fans are getting to know him and is kind of sad that people keeps whining over Peter, Peter is awesome too but i think for the 90s and nowdays Eric's style is more modern and fits better, Some people still treating him like "the new guy" and he is been with kiss from before i was born and let me tell you i am not that young anymore XD. Gosh i wish there was more collectibles from Revenge era and Erics
Definitely brought new life to the band and modernized some classics!
My 1st concert was kiss alive 3 they recorded it at the palace in Michigan I was 4
Saw them less than a week after this mini-show,and caught my only Paul pick in Portland,Maine...
I was at the 2nd night which was the official opening of night of the tour
Great amazing
Glad you enjoyed it!
@@JPL1311 i have this many years before in vhs video
eric looked so cool before the fake catman thing.
The Revenge Era look was the best non makeup look
Bruce is an awesome player
Bruce brought new life to the band he brought his own style !
I agree, but no stage presence at all.
I was 21 in 92
If they had toured Australia my head would have exploded
Paul Stanley is now over 70 lol😂
My awsome crazy nights memories is all i have left..
Glad they are ending in December
I hope they all make it.
It really is time they call it quits! I was lucky enough to see them numerous times!
Eric Singer in his true form. Alice Cooper was also a far better band between 98 and 2005 with him and Chuck. Those of us who were lucky enough to see ESP were truly blessed
Yeah definitely holding back now for a number of reasons
Carr’s influence can really be felt on COTN. Wow. Singer did him right.
2 great drummers!
Paul...You get em' Girl... ❤😂😂😂
This was a tribute to the late Eric Carr who passed away from cancer.
Paul looking like the bad heavy in the prison for Tango and Cash here. 😂
35:30 oof that harmonica thing
Love Bruce kulicks tone on revenge tour
This was the best they sounded live!
@@JPL1311 minus that thunderous cumpa Eric Carr rip
Don't get me wrong, I LOVE ERIC CARR. I miss him greatly. BUT, Eric Singer was a great kick in the ass for the band. I think they had gotten complacent, and by the HITS tour, they were a homogenized version of the band that we all love. By Revenge, the excitement was back and they sounded like a new band.
The difference with Revenge had more to do with Gene recommitting to the band full time and dropping a lot of his side projects. This began with Hot in the Shade and the results started to show on that tour and peaked with Revenge!
1984 Eric Carr was incredible. My favorite Kiss show is "Live uncensored"
Eric Singer had little to do with anything. He was a hired gun. His drumming is great, but its not like he has any songwriting credits on Revenge.
My favorite era of the band, glad my dad introduced me to this album. Even as a little kid I thought the makeup was cringey and didn't understand the allure of clowns playing guitars. Revenge changed everything. Songs were faster, heavier, the band looked cool, and most importantly, like normal people. It wasn't this weird gimmick.
It started with the Hot in the Shade Tour and continued with Revenge sadly without Eric Carr!
Like it or not you should respect the makeup era or you wouldn’t be watching the Revenge era! Don’t insult what you don’t understand! Thanks
La cinta q lleva paul creo q es en directo una de las pocas veces q la llevaba ya q en casi todo el tour no la llevo nunca ni si quiera en el de europa , yonlos vi en birmigham gran espectaculo con danger danger!!!+
Kulick and Frehley are the only two guitarists that should ever have been in KISS!
Kulick didn't want to do the Spaceman makeup
Kulick has integrity & class
Carnival of Souls
Kiss Alive III : 🤟🏻💥🔥🎇🆙
This was KISS firing on all cylinders!
By far the best Kiss drummer. And Bruce is the most talented guitarist in my opinion.
Eric Carr.
Well i personally like Peter the best he had his own style which just sounded like him, you knew from the first 10 seconds of hearing the drums that it was him.
@@breakingthelaw7974 Yeah, but some of his playing was just bad. Like Calling Dr Love (studio). He actually played it better on Alive II.

Go for it. Do the work lazy.
This song was the closest the band saying the f bomb word.
Yes pre-meditated marketing.
Okay I Love Kiss since I was a kid in the 70's and I actually bought most of all their music (albums) and yes I saw this Revenge tour in Fayetteville, NC with Faster Pussycat as opening act but here's my point Paul's dancing and prancing is so effeminate to me Gene sings with that gruff manly voice which I personally orefer🤘
That was their genius they did both to an extent!
@@JPL1311 true 🤘😎
I really feel like Paul sounds the most lucid and conscientious of his career and kiss as a band during this era. Their music was heavy and really good and played very very well and not too fast like so much unfortunately in the 80s. I loved a lot of the 80s stuff but playing live was so extremely fast it almost sounded like a punk cover and it ruined everything. It's really up to the rhythm section to hold that down and I know what I'm talking about since I played drums now for nearly 50 years. Although I do love a lot of the old stuff I do think the band was tighter and at their best as musicians during these years in the 90s.
Definitely the best they ever sounded live especially in the non makeup years!
Paul's vocals are excellent. It's a shame what happened to his voice
Yeah he was at his peak vocally around this time but Yeats of touring and age caught up to him!
Where is Eric’s Arby’s hat?
I was blessed in 1994 with KISS IN ARGENTINA
This was a great line-up and an awesome tour!
Yes
Wow at 18:10 Paul throws his voice about 3 or 4 feet into the mic… and doesn’t even move his mouth!! Amazing!!
you are kidding right? That is Gene's voice. Learn you're stuff man
That's Gene you're hearing not Paul
That's Gene singing that part not Paul!

Revenge
Psycho Circus
Rock The Nation 2004
Asylum
Animalize
Farewell 2000
Crazy Nights
And Dynasty although I was so young I dont know how to properly assess that one. Really dont know how to rank The. DYNASTY tour.

I believe their biggest accomplishment was somehow tricking people into liking them. I will never understand it. Extremely average lyrics, mid level musicianship and Paul is one of the worst singers in rock history.
Really, really, really cheesy music. Incredibly hard to watch. No question, marketing geniuses…but my God, horrifically bad musicians. Vocals were like nails on a chalkboard. Tacky rehearsed “rock moves”. Just musically overrated.
