Before kicking off the legendary Revenge Tour, KISS played a number of smaller venues as a warmup with the new lineup. This is thought by many to be the best the band has ever sounded live and is a favorite era of the band for many in the KISS Army.
Why do they sound so good here?? This lineup had such great chemistry!!!!
They sound their best live on the Revenge Tour
Aside from the original line up, this is the next best Kiss line up, IMO. Bruce Kulick rocks!
Bruce never got much credit
This was second favorite lineup. Got to see the COTN tour twice and they were just a machine with Carr and Vincent. It's really too bad that tour was cut short because they were incredible.
I agree man, this timeframe this band is at their peak, Soo tight, vocals and harmonies are spot on , Bruce is a machine I mean unplugged was hands down the best MTV unplugged, and it's not just because ace and peter came out for a few songs, the band is just that good
Bruce es un ser humano muy especial, no tiene egos, pudiendo tenerlos. Por lo tanto, es inteligente, tanto así, que no hay nadie en Kiss que opine lo contrario.
I saw them at the Whiskey last year and they were amazing!
Btw - props to Rikki Rachtman - I was too young to appreciate how natural he is on camera. Just winging it and killing it every time. Those were the days.
Man this is great footage and Audio
Los vi en esta tour en birmingham y fue genial!!!!sonido muy potente y escenario brutal con estatua de la libertad transformada agran concierto saludos desde barcelona
I was at this show....still have the guitar pics!
Awesome!
seen them on revenge tour....this was a great lineup...played the heaviest
This maybe the best they ever sounded live at least in the non-makeup era
Un régal ce concert merci beaucoup ❤💕
Glad you enjoyed it!
Bruce never gets enough credit. He was the perfect guitarist for Kiss.
Bruce is definitely underrated
Amazing footage.... thank you SO much!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Lest anyone forget what a beast Kulick really is!
Bruce was definitely underrated
YES he is.
Friend of mine met him about a yr after being out of kiss, I thinknit was when he teamed up with John Corobi and they were playing a club. Only about 100 people showed up and he came to the bar to get a drink next to my friend and was just a complete dick. I guess going from playing yr to 1000's of people to little to none rubbed him the wrong way. He did say that he was amazing to watch and really let loose that he didn't even know he was way more talented than kiss allowed him to be.

Union was a killer band! Wish they’d hung together for longer than two albums. Regretfully never got to see them live.
Paul sounds and looks amazing!!! Yum
Paul was at his Vocal peak around this time
I saw the opening night of this club tour at the Stone in San Francisco. Great show!
Cool!
Je vous aiment les kiss ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Back when they were still a real band!
Best they ever sounded live was between Hit in the Shade and Revenge
Captain Shit Stain the failed abortion.
Yes, this is the band i love.
Was still just Gene and Paul with 2 hired guns.
@johnlester3385 hired guns? I say members of a world class band touring the world
Saw them is Dallas on the club tour. Went early, saw the whole setup. Saw them setting up the trigger mix for the drums. Just like this show, they looked happy. Vowed I would never see them play an arena again l because how could you after seeing them play like this. Was really fun, and it was raw .. there were mistakes, sound issues, all the things s that showed they were human. Now??? Immortals and not fun. This was also back when they were trying to still be in it even though grunge wiped everyone out. Now they are a nostalgia band which is fine. When I asked the road crew what the deal was with the club gigs, they said that mgmt wanted to see the interest before commiting to a sizeable revenge tour and sizeable stage show. I never really liked the exact precision kulick played on the albums, but this show showed he was great and imperfect.
Actually the Revenge Tour was already booking during the club tour. It was more a warm-up for it
Awesome, thanks so much! Real live.....
Glad you enjoyed it! Revenge was the best they ever sounded live!
Thank you!!
You're welcome!
They sound great. Paul NOT doing his ridiculous vocal calisthenics. He sounds tremendous.
This may have been the best live sound they ever had
Probably the best "small" KISS show ever recorded.
The entire Revenge Tour was the best live era of KISS! The club tour just made it more up close and personal
The very top of their game.
I was there both nights front row! Met them all those nights!
Definitely easier to meet bands before all the meet n greets
@@JPL1311 I was there for both nights too!
I was there.
Very cool I saw the show twice in New York
Ill give it to Kiss, in 1992 rock music was being strangled by Grunge and somehow they had a major selling album. Somehow they survived all kinds of shit that killed most bands
They adapted and when they realized the industry was changing they hit us with the Reunion Tour
Looking back, I think Grunge was a bit of an illusion. Grunge was just all over the magazines and MTV was trying to push it hard. The same month Nevermind came out, Use Your Illusion and Metallica's Black album came out and they both outsold. A year before that Panera's Cowboys From Hell came out.
In less than 3 years after this video, Ozzfest would launch and Grunge would be dead.
@@billy6220 ya its all a illusion. I think your correct
FYI: THIS IS NOT THE FULL SET (Click here for the first part of the show - ruclips.net/video/_HoGV12TpqY/видео.html)

THIS SOUNDS BETTER THAN LIVE III
They were firing on all cylinders for sure!
It was like the rewound back to the 70’s and became hungry again. They’re always at their best when they’re hungry.
This started during the Hot in the Shade Tour when Gene recommitted himself to the band and ended all the side projects.
I would love to see them do a club tour - without the pyro, without the make-up, without the 'extras' and just watch them play, especially if they broke out some rarely played songs from the super large catalog they have . . . but not if they played the same old setlist they've played for the last 20 years.
They sort of were doing this on the Cruises with some deep.cuts but doubt we'll see another club tour
Gene kinda looked like tom araya here
🤣
Revenge tour kiss was the BEST KISS WHY???? Paul's best vocal? Gene's best looks and playing / Bruce kulick was like a human metronome every night never playing 1 bad note. Eric singer a beast!!!!! Never out of time
Revenge set the stage for the Reunion Gene and Paul were hungry and fully engaged!
Freakin Paul's face when they screwed up the last part of God gave Rock n Roll 😂😂😂😂
Sometimes you just can't hide it
Setlist?
I’ll comment it next time I watch thru, I’ll write them down
@@Letmebool in fact just do a google search and you might find the set of this show, it's a great show! but thanks friend
Eric Carr was great but this lineup is hands down the best version Kiss has ever had! Bruce Kulick & Eric Singer are both monsters!
Eric Carr was started this style on the Hot in the Shade Tour! Sadly it was cut short with passing
They never should've never taken the make-up off.
They took ot off when the time was right and put it back on when the time was right both good business decisiions
Ahhh yes good business decisions because that is what we remember Gene and Paul for.@@JPL1311
Comment: These bands were on the decline due to Grunge. The glam rock days were Over in 1992. It was all Grunge during the 90s.
Lick it up & Love it loud, 2 of their worst songs. Good wigs though.
Hahaha all you people believing this was a "club tour" they had gone sooo far down in popularity by then this is all they could do by this time, thats why the "reunion" with Ace and Pete came not long after!
They actually did a full arena tour after this so yes this was a club tour. The reunion came about 4 years after this and they already had an album recorded that was shelved due to the reunion
2023 llenan estadios!
Setlist?
Watch it to the end and you'll have the setlist😅
