Can you dispatch Non-CDL van runs from San Antonio to Houston, Dallas, Austin, Laredo, Corpus Christi, and El Paso and back while getting loads both ways?
Hi! Are you hiring agents/dispatchers?? Or can tell me how I can get started at home. I just finished training few weeks ago. I would greatly appreciate any information
I miss being a broker and I was only an intern. I loved creating mutual trust and relationships with dispatchers all over the country. It made the job very easy.
As a broker that does 80-100 loads a week- I appreciate carriers being honest and letting me know immediately of truck issues or whatever the reason is as to why they can't commit to the load after agreeing to it. As long as I have enough time to recover a load- I understand fallouts happen and its not a big deal. But I've caught plenty of carriers just outright lying and making excuses and sometimes you fall into that assumption that all carriers are lying when they cancel. I try not to do that. Its when carriers fall out last minute and don't tell us for hours etc and get caught up in lies that I get upset. Always gonna run into shitty brokers tho that get mad over everything. Great work!
Thank you very much for this comment. When I started as a dispatcher, I was a part of 6 people team of dispatchers and the "culture" was to say anything as long as we can make money. After very short while I realized that that is not me and that is not a way to succeed in any kind of business. There are a lot of trucking companies there who are being bad players, as well as brokers too. I choose not to be like that and to say the truth no matter what. Thanks for watching!!
A tip for dispatchers when dealing with brokers is to get the brokers name/number and call them back after discussing details with the driver. Especially when you as a dispatcher is making the call about a load. There’s nothing worse than someone calling about your load, explaining the details to you, and them putting you on hold for 5- 7 minutes just to either hang up on you or to say sorry the driver doesn’t want it (Click). Out of respect just grab the name and number and say hey bud give me 5 minutes I’ll hit you back ASAP. That way you’re not wasting someone’s time and that way you also have time to be thorough as to not rush the call because you’ve got someone on hold.
Anis your the most honest person i have ever seen in this business, the other question that i have is, what's the best load board to use for straight trucks or semi. I would appreciate your immediate response and keep up the good work. THANKS.
I've taken loads for a place that distributes groceries to much smaller older grocery stores throughout the Appalachian south eastern US. Most if their drivers and deliveries are done by daycabs. I've ended up in some places trying to back in with a Sleeper and 53' reefer and could barely fit, but luckily enough I was able to make it work. It's nice to see a dispatcher that takes into consideration the area the load is going to rather than grabbing the load and not telling the driver. Any good driver though would ask for an address, look it up and confirm the location on Google maps satellite before accepting the load. Wrong addresses and space are often a large factor for some larger rigs. Anyways, thanks for the video. It's nice to be able to see what's happening from the dispatchers perspective.
I usually ask for delivery address or name of a company only in case there is something off with the load before I book it. Also, sometimes I would check the address after I receive the rate con. But you are absolutely correct, it would be perfect if we would ask for that every time. A lot of times, brokers are busy and by the time we ask for all those details the load might be gone so if I feel like there is not much time left, I would take it and worry about the address later. Thanks for watching.
Enjoyed this video so much and learned quite a few things as well as got a few pointers to use when I become an independent dispatcher. Thank you for your content
I started a freight brokerage a year ago and tried to get into it, but I really didn't have time to do everything myself.... I tried covering some loads with carriers and, like you said, a lot of them were not very nice lol
It’s good to see what a dispatcher does. I appreciate your sharing with us man. This is good insight for when I start owner operator. Th ask man! Subbed.
I used to do this for my father who was an owner operator when I was 16. Booked loads, filled papers and sent the Docs to the factoring company as well. Really easy work for those trying to get into it. The hardest part I would say is negotiating the rate of the load. Sometimes you get the piss companies you negotiate with 1 pick up and 1 drop load and then the confirmation they send has multiple pickups/drops *cough*, XPO *cough*.
XPO has been pretty good to me. Usually if I see something different on the rate con I make sure to call back the broker and if the broker doesn't wana solve the issue then I let the driver know what's going on. If the driver agrees to still pick up the load then that's on him. Negotiating rates is easy. Have a rate in mind and stay with that rate, maybe go $100 less once you see that nothing good is coming out or it's getting late. Brokers usually call back offering me the $1200 I asked for when I already booked the driver lol.
Can you explain how to get into freigh dispatching? Can you work for a company or as a business owner? Can a trucker transition to a company dispatcher after a few years OTR?

I've been working for my dad for a year now as his dispatcher and man at the beginning it was crazy, I wouldn't know what rate to offer what to ask regarding the load it was just hectic. I was looking at the invoices that I billed the first month and we were getting paid $900 for a 356 mile run and now we get paid $1,200. Now I know my rates, I know what to ask regarding the load, I know how to negotiate rates. If I see the 15 day avg is $1,200 I ask for $1300 so I can get the $1200. Now my dad has a driver and 2 owner ops. I'm looking to become a freight broker too that way I can stop dealing with these dam brokers, some of them are just bad at their job. Had to cancel a load recently due to insufficient information on load. I refuse to load the drivers with a load that has very little information.
Glad you stuck to the job and figured it out. Word of advice... I tried it as a broker too for a short while and what I found out is that dealing with carriers as a broker is much worse than dealing with brokers as a carrier. :( If you are looking for less stress and less dealing with bad apples, I would stick with being a carrier. Thanks for watching!

Hey driver here. Please explain to me why dispatchers are always able to find a good long run over the weekend but only short loads 800 miles or less during the week? I'm really curious. Thank you
Hello. Keep in mind that the shorter load, the better RPM is for you. It wouldn't make sense to offer you a 2000 mile that pays less than $2 per mile, but over the weekend these loads tend to pay slightly better...
I've been dispatching for almost 2 years now for a fleet of 25 trucks. I work graveyards and I love it. I have so much freedom and I can wear flip-flops to work!!

Usually 5 post its for a future project to get carriers onboard at a cheap rate. Who’s going to get it cheapest and cover the volume. Its baiting. You should look at the pu and delivery address so you know where you are sending them to
I stopped by and Im happy to see a video like this. I just came because of a tiktok that talking about this kind of job, I have 0 experience in the trucking world, but this is something I could see myself doing. How do I get to do this? Where do one starts. Thank in advance for any info or guidance you could provide! Best regards!
OK, the problem there was that this driver likes to go to straight to receiver and be ready to deliver the very first thing in the morning. This loa was 640 miles and that is good 11 hours of driving. Driver already drove about an hour and a half that morning (70 miles) and that would leave him with only 9.5 hours available for that day. So the driver could not have made it to delivery in a straight shot. He would have to stop somewhere, about 70-100 miles away and he would have drive for another couple of hours in the morning to deliver. That way he would loose yet another 2 hours of available hours for next day.

Great video and fully relatable! One quick question, do you rely primarily on DAT loadboard (of course along with connections with brokers) or do you recommend and use any other major load board too? Anyone with industry and dispatching knowledge may please answer.
why you are not negotiate the price dude with brokers ? try to ask broker 200 $ extra for tolls ....some of them are ready to cover that just to move the load faster ...

Man they make just as much as the driver. That’s why the class cost so damn much.
@@thatboyrell4954 seriously? I heard it's just 5% on the job price
@@thatboyrell4954 classes are scams everything you need to learn about didpatching is literally right here on RUclips so thank god I didn’t pay 1,000 for a class.
@@mkeys03 what’s some videos you watched
Hey driver here. Please explain to me why dispatchers are always able to find a good long run over the weekend but only short loads 800 miles or less during the week? I'm really curious. Thank you
Hello. Keep in mind that the shorter load, the better RPM is for you. It wouldn't make sense to offer you a 2000 mile that pays less than $2 per mile, but over the weekend these loads tend to pay slightly better...
Buffalo NY 716!
Great Info , Thanks .
Hey man, just want to share with you, factoring companies and quick pays are a type of Reba. Take care man.
No, they are not. I asked several high profile scholars and they all said the are not reba.
I've been dispatching for almost 2 years now for a fleet of 25 trucks. I work graveyards and I love it. I have so much freedom and I can wear flip-flops to work!!
hows the $$$?
In America you seem to have very high salaries so you can earn a hell of a lot of money doing this. In the UK it's about 28k...
Best video ever
Wanted to learn about it and want to do it
Svaka ti cast, car si.
Hvala drug :)
Hello from Ukraine! Thanks for the video!
No problem
Finally I've found what I need, thanks man 🤜🏽🤛🏽
2:30, its his truck but is he operating it with your plates?
No, he has his own plates. His truck is leased to my company.
Thanks for useful info!
Glad it was helpful!
right straight to the point! love it
drug svaka, čast samo naprijed. Professionalno radiš ovaj posao.
I'm going to look into training by September this year. I'm tired of driving. It's just going to be a little difficult trying to study on off hour's. Except for the weekend maybe!
love working with TQL they're cool peeps
I’m going to need a dispatcher when I get my truck ready would you be interested?it will be a couple months just trying to get my ducks in a row Thanks for the upload great work man ✌️
Usually 5 post its for a future project to get carriers onboard at a cheap rate. Who’s going to get it cheapest and cover the volume. Its baiting. You should look at the pu and delivery address so you know where you are sending them to
I have to ask you. What are the best steps as a trucker to get into dispatching without college?
Great video tks for sharing brother! 👊
Hey how are you iam looking for a good dispatcher how can I contact you ?

Hello, please direct all video unrelated questions to never-stop-trucking-club.circle.so/
Hello Enis. Thank you for such great videos! May I ask, what is the problem, if the driver already drove 70 miles?
Hi, do you have a time stamp for the part of the video where I talk about that?
@@NeverStopTRK Hey, thanks for the reply. I'm watching one of your videos right now :) Sure, here it is: ruclips.net/video/U_GhJSSRxDs/видео.html
@@NeverStopTRK Thx for the reply

Hey man, Im new to the Dispatcher world. Do Dispatchers also tell the driver where to fuel (like find cheap fuel for them?) Would love to know details about that. Thanks very much for the content!
Wow, great practical insights..
I'm just wondering if we can learn to start this dispatch business and I would like to know your system that you set up.
And I would bring Investors drivers or get good the driver's .
Thanks so much.
Great video and fully relatable! One quick question, do you rely primarily on DAT loadboard (of course along with connections with brokers) or do you recommend and use any other major load board too?
Anyone with industry and dispatching knowledge may please answer.
I primarily use DAT but in times like the current market, it’s good to use other boards as well. I’ve been booking a lot of freight through truck stop
Hello , I'm a beginner in Dispatching - how do I get access to DAT loadboard , please your response will be greatly appreciated
@@DibsDojohello bruhhh , can we connect
I'm a newbie in Dispatching and I need your assistance on using DAT loadboard - Thank you
what plan do recomend i never used DAT or any loadboard before, starcting from scratch
I seems like easy money, but I couldn't do it cause it's too much talking and I'm very quiet.
This channel is awesome!
I appreciate that!
I live in west haven ct
Very good video. What would you suggest how to get an entry job as a truck dispatcher?
Amazing content and work! How are you receiving calls? Are those direct shippers/brokers you're dealing with? Hope to hear back soon!
Thanks. Once you start posting trucks to load boards, you will get calls from brokers and shippers.
Hi live your videos. I'm new dispatcher, what's the best way to find carriers to dispatch for?
How does one get into dispatching from home?
Are you taking on clients? Not very picky and I need help starting out
Interesantan poso stvarno :)
why you are not negotiate the price dude with brokers ? try to ask broker 200 $ extra for tolls ....some of them are ready to cover that just to move the load faster ...
I almost always negotiate. Watch my other videos to see. Thanks for watching
