Very very interesting and informative video for people who want to start his career as dispatch! 👍 Many Thanks for you and wish a good business. Just one question if you don't mind. Are you living in USA or you dispatch them from your country???
When calling shippers to offer services, what happens if we have no carriers yet? Is this being deceptive if they give us freight to move and we have no trucks?
hello, I have questions and yet no 1 to ask. I was wondering if you can help me out a bit. Im self taught in the dispatch business and I would like to know what I need to legally run this business. first question is; do I need an authority to run the business or can I find an owner operator and process his MC and Dot# ? 2nd question is if I have a driver who doesn't have a truck , but has his endorsements can I rent a truck and book gigs ?
Hello. #1 You don't need an authority to dispatch other carriers. You can use owner operator's MC#. #2 You can't hire a driver unless you have an authority.
How can you manage more than 1 driver in the DAT load board? I mean, do you log out and use other profiles or just use the same to profile to book loads? Sorry, I am new and trying to learn.
Great informative video. Pls let me know how to get a first truck and also broker? If the broker is not good and doesn't pay, will our insurance cover that? Same way, if the trucker doesn't delivery properly, will the insurance cover the product cost?
Hello. The insurance will not cover you if the broker doesn't pay. You would usually have to file a claim against their bond. If the product is damaged or stolen, your insurance will usually cover that, except for your deductible. First truck to get is usually the hardest and you will have talk to your bank about that or if you have cash, that would probably be the best choice.
@@NeverStopTRK Thank you. Very useful. So when we start with a broker the very first time, we need to get their bond details and keep it with us. Correct? Also, pls recommend any insurance company for the dispatcher. What other documents we need to keep as a dispatcher other than insurance? You mentioned DOT. We need to get this? Please advise.

When calling shippers to offer services, what happens if we have no carriers yet? Is this being deceptive if they give us freight to move and we have no trucks?
I don't think it is deceptive. You have to start somewhere
So do you have a choice in using a factory company or is that up to the owner operator?
Owner operators are usually already set-up with a factoring company, so it is their choice
What is the site called that you find loads for your trucks ?
DAT board

That's a good question. I have been trying to find something that does exactly that but I couldn't find anything like that...
what is no-buy list ? and why it is good if a factoring company will not buy an invoice? could you please explain it?
Factoring companies will not work with bad brokers. Therefore they put the on the so called no buy list. This is actually for your protection too.
Thank You 🙏
