Crying is the more appropriate response. Especially when you realise Disney did this to Star Wars. The "Legends" (what an offensive term) material got thrown out, then selectively exhumed for their crappy Thrawn. And the between-series novels had some great material. Which got cherry picked by idiots like Moffat. And Moffat's and Davies's changes to the book material were broken, inconsistent and stupid.
When you think about what Doctor Who used to be, crying is the more appropriate response.
I think I'm too apathetic to even bother giving it a hate watch though at this point.
Yes I would not give it a glance. All I knew was its supposed to start in May. Its now May, but I have better things to do. For one thing its light nights and I need to cut laws, clean windows etc and I would rather be doing that , than watching Doctor Gay.

@@StevieZala I know. I understand. I was at that point myself about 5 / 6 years ago with Star Wars / Trek / Doctor Who / Marvel etc. In that I would go into forums and on here etc and write about what was wrong and get flak from people saying I am a bigot etc for not liking it. So I would say I just wanted to enjoy it and look forward to something and have something good to enjoy like I used to. Same garbage, same you are a bigot etc so I stopped watching more or less everything. Stopped spending money on the merch, on Bluray and disks etc. Stopped collecting toys and figures. And I also boycotted and avoided everything and everyone who was involved. So never watch anything Rian Johnson makes, nothing from Disney at all ever again. And the amazing thing was, I felt better as I was not paying into the crap and giving them money. And I also watched their profits fall off a cliff as everything flopped badly. So I was obviously not the only one doing so. Now they are at the tipping point, starting to beg fans to come back. No. They blew it. Not till someone else is in charge. That goes for Doctor Who, Star Wars the lot. As for Tron I would give up hope. Just ignore it. Dont fall for hype or the lies. Dont get excited or have any hope it will be good. Then if its actually ok you can see it later after fan feedback, I never trust critics now either, as they are all on the pay role too.....I am just pleased that Indy 5 and the Marvels etc were huge loses. It proves that people are not as stupid as the studios think and that the pushback is starting to hurt them....
But aren't they all leaving? I can't see disney throwing away money on a season three.
I suspect all of the actors will be leaving after the release of the first series
Virtually nobody gives a f*ck what happens to Doctor Who since Peter Capaldi was the final credible one.
You don't need a TV licence, I haven't had one since 2010, the last time I watched doctor who live, I got the dvds and didn't watch anything else so didn't need it
If you watch only dvds, RUclips, crunchyroll, that sort of thing

@@JoeTheUberGeek So do I. But I honestly doubt it will ever be gone. The charter is up for renewing in 2027. I doubt the Labour government that will be in power then will abolish it. At the moment we can choose not to pay it, take out the tv antenna and go internet only. Which is what I did back in 2013 and I have not watched or paid since. The danger is Labour bins it BUT puts some sort of charge / tax on tv sales or Internet broadband companies etc so that they still get money even if the fee goes. They are not going to just get rid of it to help people out, no matter what they may claim....
When this series tanks and the Mouse gets angry that its investment isnt paying off, they'll all be shoved out the door just like the previous doctor and show runners haha

3 days, we have 3 days until Doctor Who returns, I have my fingers crossed that the first episode does not Suck Godzilla-sized Donkey Balls.
But with the push of Adult, Mature content (i.e. THE MESSAGE), I have a feeling I'll be crying and Trying even harder to get my Alternate Route storyline to sound better than it is.

@@JoeTheUberGeek If you actually checked your research, the article still calls Verada a “replacement” despite her being alongside Millie and 15. They managed to call Millie “Milly”, misnaming her along with just calling Verada Sethu “Seethu” and now they claiming that she’s filming her final scene “this month”
Maybe do a bit of fact checking instead of instantly jumping onto doing a hate video for views?

My favorite Doctor of the 21st century for sure. Eleven years ago Steven Moffat could do no wrong. But then he kept Clara on the show two seasons past the end of her story arc, and ruined a potentially great Doctor in Peter Capaldi with woke scripts and storylines. Nothing I have seen since then is going to win me back.

She isn't. There wasn't.
They shot 2 seasons back-to-back. That's two season's worth of television. The second season airs NEXT year.
