For a long time I have been angry about this for the following reasons: • I’ve come to the conclusion they are discriminating against anyone that is not, or cannot, walk tracks; • I do not hike because I cannot, due to many injuries and aging; • Therefore, driving to a location is my only option; • I’m denied access to my own country; • Therefore, I cannot enjoy the vast country I live in; • My taxes contribute to National Parks funding so therefore, I believe I should have the right to access and have a say; • National Parks are too trigger happy in closing access; • There behaviour is akin to Nazi’s; • National Parks don’t even try to consider other options; • National Parks refuse to engage other communities. I base this on an attempt of my 4WD Club to establish a Memorandum of Understanding since 2006, for access to gated sections, with the intention to help with maintenance
I believe all our bushland should be open to all Australians. But, how do you stop the brainless people from tearing up fragile tracks/ areas during the wet winter months?
G'day. It says you MUST be a resident of NSW. If this land is funded by any federal tax payer funds, than this pettition must be open to every Australian. Love from QLD.
Although I am not even an Australian or living in Australia, I have been waiting for someone to step up to the plate and do this. I have seen track closures on many of my fave Ozzy channels and thought it high time someone stood up and made their voice heard. Well done Tony, somehow I should have guessed it would be you. 💪🏻
Signed, subscribed, appreciate what your doing mate. I'm a high country 4wder who can't take his kids to the places I grew up camping at. While I understand why they close some place due to the grubs of our community being destructive and leaving rubbish. I also know that's the minority of our community and we are unfairly judged because of those grubs. We need a better system and a more cohesive relationship with N.P cause just gating everything is bollucks. We can all do better. Cheers
Signed👍
Won’t accept mine as I’m not a NSW resident.
Awesome work mate!
Can't anyone, except 4wd'ers of course, just walk around them?

Spot on. I came here to say the same thing. I am a Vic resident, but have used and hope to use tracks in NSW.
Unfortunately legislation and management of National Parks is state-based.
Great work Tony. Thanks for walking the walk mate.
signed up straight away. Thank you
