Jordan Peterson's ability to clearly articulate ideas, feelings, concepts, etc. is how he empowers us and why we appreciate him so much. His language skills are remarkable and truly a gift to us.
Jordan Peterson humbly demonstrates full humanity fearlessly. When other cower and lash out, he stands firmly with integrity and grace. Thank you sirs.
I could listen to Mathew all day. Very thoughtful pondering person. It's refreshing, it's uplifting. And Jordan is very talent at giving perspective and clarity, with just a few words. What a combination.
I think most people’s problem is that they are too fascinated by themselves and not by the bigger picture or the Universe! If you can get out of your little self, 98% of your problems are over
The Bhagavad Gita cleared me up on humility and not to mix it up with passivity. The whole chapter on doing and undoing has inspired a whole new chapter of my life where I went to an Ashram last year to be a karma yogi. It was definitely illuminating and harder still was to apply those lessons into the real world. As for vulnerability- you have to choose your battles. That's how I understand it. You can't be vulnerable with everyone; you do have to learn to say "no", know your limits etc. But, true friends are priceless and with those you must even let yourself be ugly. Again, thank you for this conversation. I love learning from your processes. I'm having a mighty hard time ATM. Thank you.
There are many wonderful teaching tools of wisdom, but there is only one true path to salvation. By God's grace alone through faith alone in Jesus Christ everlasting bloodshed atonement for ALL our sins. Sealing us with the Holy Spirit (God) for eternity.
Jordan. you are a real-life hero. I come from a family of smart people, but your analysis of things is epic. Grateful for you. Wish I could have been one of your students.
I’m a new writer I am going to do this. Thank you. I am curious what reviews I will write for myself and what insight could come from that. So good! And inspiring!
What you said about humility was soooo good now I look at it a different way. This will help me reach my audience of mothers. I want women to fall in love with their future and know who they are when their kids leave the nest. Millions of moms are suffering and I want to change ether language. Would Love the opportunity to talk with you Karla Olson
Jordan might be a bit "outdated" regarding relationships and marriage in the "modern" era, but his concepts of being a solid human being hold true and mirror a lot of what I learned in the military decades ago. "Be the best you can be, make the world a better place for having you in it" will always hold true. Regardless of what the world tells you what is "right", stand strong and never sacrifice your morals/ethics. Matt seems like the kind of guy I could sit beside a campfire with, sipping whisky, and have hours of damned good conversation. Always liked that guy, he just radiates "salt of the earth" without any pretension and hubris.
JP is very sage, but for all his wisdom and intelligence, he seems (I emphasize the word "seems", because I don't know for sure) to suffer from a deep melancholy. I've rarely seen him smile, and even more rarely have seen him smile BIG. If I had to choose, I think I might choose ignorance with bliss versus deep understanding with a very somber outlook on the human condition. Fortunately, you don't have to choose between these two dichotomies.
That's fair. I believe that at the time of this interview, he was still recovering from chronic pain. There are some more recent interviews that he is quite joyful.
Peterson is clearly a titan of intelligence compared to his vis-à-vis despite the latter being one of the most intelligent persons in Hollywood. Peterson visibly makes an effort to step down to MM’s level. I am not sure if he is demonstrating humility or hiding contempt
Matthew McConaughey's performance as Rustin Cole in True Detective is one of the greatest performances of an actor I've ever seen in my life! He was GREAT in A Time To Kill, Contact and Amistad! He was great in a movie called Gold. He's a GREAT actor! Jordan Peterson is an ABSOLUTE TITAN but Matthew McConaughey is NOT chopped liver!
@@andyvinstra Strong actors are rarely strong intellects I think is what is being said. Hollywood is chock full of narcissist good actors but extremely low intellects - but they all think they are really smart obviously like a lot of people do that get worshipped by the common folk
@@bearskinner2601MM seems to enjoy talking…and this conversation is interesting just because of that. And JP is a more thoughtful individual, imo, and so I don’t want to judge either, I just want to listen and observe!

Peterson looks like he has no feeling he can show like a machine… I am bot sure about this man like Mathiew as he is a man of self reflection and has great values
Jordan Peterson .... one of the greatest humanitarians of our time. Deep appreciation.
Not when when he fully supported the killing of palestinians.
Total giving human being full of wisdom.
Do you think he alleviates suffering?
I'd rather listen to MM than JP on most subjects, LOL
"Its very difficult to have humility without being arrogant about it"
"Humility...and how I attained it."
He’s talking way to much
2:11 "Humility is knowing you have more to learn." I like that. It helps me to forget about myself.

This is quite the pairing! JP reignited my relationship with Christianity. As a lifelong church goer and then a 2 decades absence I’m back in love.
Much respect for both of these men.
Two people I look up to having a conversation about humility. Good morning for me.
youre lost then. peterson- yep smart dude. this hollywood clown ? get a grip
@@SuperSuperdude88 what is your problem?
I don’t agree with everything Jordan says , but nobody that thinks deeply should. He’s a great guy and likes to have real conversations.
And really that’s how it should be. If you just put in an effort to try and understand people’s prospective.
Mathew and Jordan are both great deep thinking human beings trying to make the world a little bit better.
I could listen to Mathew all day. Very thoughtful pondering person. It's refreshing, it's uplifting. And Jordan is very talent at giving perspective and clarity, with just a few words. What a combination.
Great book by Matthew!! Love these 2 men!! ❤❤

Ah two of my fav people! Who couldn't be more diverse! I love it!
Two of my favorite people together…great!
Two of my favorite famous men! Yay 😀
Thank you gentlemen for allowing us to witness this union of minds & souls in a caring, understanding way.
Jordan. you are a real-life hero. I come from a family of smart people, but your analysis of things is epic. Grateful for you. Wish I could have been one of your students.
Peterson is one of the most eloquent persons I’ve ever heard. However, the substance is always just as impressive.
Agree, so good, still down to the earth
Every good pastor knows he is preaching to himself first and foremost
I’m a new writer I am going to do this. Thank you. I am curious what reviews I will write for myself and what insight could come from that. So good! And inspiring!
how high a level of narcissism would you have to possess to accomplish this lol?
I like how clean McConaughey's room is in this

Why is this on RUclips, it’s not very interesting outside of them both being famous~ I’m glad they have found friendship. God bless.
Love this! 4:55
You can tell JP was sick here. So glad he made it through that
Alright alright alright

💯 MM really thinks highly of himself and thinks he’s smarter than he is.

Why do i get the feeling Jordan Peterson has already mentally approved McConaughey to star in his future biopic "The Lobster" 😂
McConaughey 's family values are epic.
As ever, two famous men discussing what, exactly fame is. Or its consequences. Or what it's like to be famous. Odd. Illuminating.
A likable Republican would be unstoppable right now.
I am part of the audience. Ok.
wow, good stuff
If jordans life becomes a movie, mathew or christian bale will be my choice of actors.
Ya, but you got to come an visit.
Very good, but office or other background would be a better context setting
WOAH
JP looks sad and tired here... 😕
this is very sincere conversation
So disappointed. My daughter was abused by her boyfriend in his dogma
Matthew should stick with acting ... he ain't no Jordan when he expresses himself.
Wow, what a sell out, showing his book like that
Lost my respect .
well now i am boycotting mcconaughey.
he remains very vague on what he likes about peterson for his cowardly FEAR of being cancelled.
Humility is not dominating the conversation OR know-it-all lecturing. Peterson is not humble.
Good point.
I would say he has an appropriate temperament, especially for who he is
