      @@SiliconOneFour Not that the new format is bad, it's just i'm already getting used to listen the old one combined with zhongli sitting in random places. It makes me imagine him glad to meet me and excited to tell me tales about places he visited in the past lol. Your new format makes him sound like burnt out grandpa. Or probably it's you that's burnt out? I hope you get proper rest.

    Amun is also a name that came to be attributed to the Egyptian god of the Sun and sky, Ra, during the new kingdom period, after he was fused with a different Egyptian creator god called Amun. He was also considered the first god and ruler of all the other gods. What is also kind of interesting about both him and King Deshret sharing a name is that King Deshret is associated with the color red. Which is considered a color of evil , death, and chaos do to it being the color of the sand to the west, which in turn we’re connected more with gods like Set and Apophis, who were enemies of Ra. We’re as black was l considered a good color do to the fertile silt of the Nile River also being black.
    Edit: An interesting parallel I just noticed is that the dragon Apep (which is another name for Apophis) in the game is also very antagonistic towards the other deities in game and even ate King Deshret’s corpse after his death. This parallels the Egyptian Doomsday myth where after Ra weakens after thousands of years of traveling through the sky and the underworld he is eaten by Apophis which brings about the end of the world. Obviously the ultimate conclusions of both the game story and the myth are different, there is till an interesting connection to be drawn.
    Sorry this turned into a mad ramble of half thought out connections. And also sorry for it not being the most coherent. I was typing as fast as possible so that I would not forget anything.

    Two of Mihoyo's greatest Genshin Impact achievements regarding map designs intertwined with the lore and thematic are being the entire Sumeru region on the scale comparable to a real life medium-sized province and Enkanomiya loredump spectacles
    Sure Monstadt looks quite nostalgic, Liyue being among the most iconic Sino-Han representation in any modern pop culture alongside Inazuma being massive expansions of their very first 3D open world level in Sakura Samsara, yet the entirety of Sumeru region and Enkanomiya (which stacked below the already mesmerizingly fragrant yet dreamlike visual beauty of Watatsumi Island) are completely different levels of mobile game open world achievements, even Honkai Star Rail designs doesn't follow consistency of openness of open world of Genshin's recent patches
    No wonder it's causes paranoia among most mobile players with the size of the game by each major regional updates lol

    If Greater Lord Rukkhadevata created the Wall of Samiel, I wonder what history/mythology the people of Sumeru prescribe to the Wall of Samiel after Rukkhadevata was erased from Irmisul..
    Where do the people of Sumeru think the Wall of Samiel came from once Rukkhadevata was essentially erased from the world? The only being who remembers Rukkhadevata is the Traveller; so what is the explanation for the Wall of Samiel to everyone else now that she's erased from history?

    • @mimikyufan291
      @mimikyufan291 Год назад +5

      I'm pretty sure everyone now believes that Nahida did anything Rukkhadevata actually did, and when Rukkhadevata died, Nahida lost her memory/most of her power. So in this case, Nahida believes that she built the wall, but just can't remember it, and everyone else remembers Nahida building it.

      I covered the Ruin Golems in the Sumeru video and just grouped them together. I didn't want to repeat all the things about the Ruin Golems for each Sumeru area.
