My copy of this dvd just came the other day and I watched it and loved it! Even the random outbreaks Jordu had haha
Im new to sculpting, ive only made 3 sculptures so far but this gave me a lot of good info and I now feel more confident in future work. Love your work!
Real talent right there, I am very impressed with this.

Incredible !
Jordu is one of the living masters!
I love drawing realistic faces and threw myself into sculpting and I'm amazed on how good I actually am and I just stared a week ago just by looking at videos and stuff on the web I have advanced pretty far for someone who's been doing this for a week!
oh bugger,,thats amazing work !!
And thank you got the magnifying glasses what you recommended...very pleased.
Mary.
OMG dude this is awesome.......Super sculpey is amazing stuff
AWESOME!!!
Awesome!

Good good... beautiful
Man, I really wanna buy this lesson!
Dang wish I have your talent!
Your work is brilliant, could you tell me what type of magnifying glasses you need, what magnification I would need.
Hey Mary Robinson, Here's a good option for you: bit.ly/1fScKxc. -Matt
We don't directly sell the materials for the courses, though we link to certain partners who sell some of the materials. We simply sell the video itself which, if you purchase it as a DVD retails for $39.99 and as a stream for $19.99. Though we're currently having a 50% off sale. (And if you're a paying subscriber, the stream is essentially part of your subscription and the DVD costs are even lower.) - David
Jordu!!!
I would love to take the online classes, where can I find these please ?
Here: bit.ly/miniheadyt - Balázs
bake it at 175 degrees. dont go by what they say on the box, that way you can cook it for longer. it will get harder and more dense. hope that helps, had to learn this the hard way with super sculpey. great clay though i must say.
sickphyschotic-- Ain't nothin' wrong with that! - John
I've been looking at signing up for some of these classes but I cant seem to get a definitive cost for any of them. How much would it cost for the tools, paints and video for this class all together?
Hi please could you tell me what glue to use to do the whiskers on a polymer clay male face, what does not come out shiny.
If you started from scratch to buy sculpey, flocking, acrylic paints, brushes, and sculpting tools as well, the materials you'd need for this lesson would run a few hundred dollars. However, you'd also have gear that you could reuse for future art creations and lessons. - David
What kind/brand of flocking powder does he use, and where does he acquire the 1lbs bags?
What ever the FLOCK he wants....Sorry, I had to :-)
Was this dude at DragonCon 2012?
Hi,
Please could you tell me whats the best glue to use to glue facial hair onto sculpey as I have tried super glue and fabric glue but you still can see the shine.. im from the uk...
Mary
Hi Mary, Elmer's glue should work. -Maggie
Thanks Maggie .
Does the tutorial include the painting of the little guy's eyes? thanks in advance.
CaptainRumi yes, Jordu paints the eyes in the tutorial. Hope you enjoy it! -Maggie
Is there a dvd for this?
Hey Ben Gaucher, There sure is as well as a streaming option. Go here to check it out: bit.ly/1brXsPJ -Matt
what clay/material should be used?
Daisy Taylor, Jordu sculpts with Super Sculpey® in this tutorial. Learn more about the clay here: www.sculpey.com/products/clays/super-sculpey
I just finished watching this video and it was great. It has definitely taught me some different techniques I plan to try out. If its not too late to ask questions - how would Jordu do it different if he was making a beautiful female head? would he use the flocking powder still? How would the painting steps differ? There doesn't seem to be many female form sculpture videos on the site, would love to see Jordu do one next! :)
Jordu says, "I would do things pretty much the same…. maybe we ought to do a female….. I've wanted to do Farrah Fawcett for years, believe it or not…. Or better still, maybe Princess Leia?"
So maybe that's a future lesson, Doll Art by Julie. Thanks for the suggestion. - David
Stan Winston School That would be awesome if you did! I will be waiting with bated breath :)
That's it. We gotta get him to do Farrah!
- John
I love the bts comments from John.
I saw him on Making Monsters!
For some reason one of my front teeth randomly fell out while I was watching this...
What brand on the acrylics he used?
Jordu uses Liquitex brand acrylic paint from Burman Industries. - David
Hi I'm new at sculpting can anyone tell me for how long should I bake a head about the size of this one. Last week I made one and I burned it
KILLERTHAN LOEB watch this lesson and all the answers will be revealed. Erich

Oneofthedreamers--
TONS. Firstly... GREAT visual effects often start with models and miniatures. Of course to have realistic faces in the shot would help. Also... for any concept design, 5th or 6th scale is often where you'd begin just to prove the design is going to work. ALSO, if you have an embiggen ray-gun... once you've sculpted in 6th scale, you just need to zap it to make a human. ; ) -John

I would have been very fascinated to see how the process would differ when creating a person of color. I was also hoping to see some long hair and a beard, but aside from that, this was a very good lesson to watch.
... Although for a tiny amount of complaining, very little happened in the first 25 minutes besides mixing in flock.
Hey! That's 'a me!
punkmetalmage-- You righta. That's 'a you. -John
Jordu thins opaque watercolors 'til translucent...is there a practical reason not to use translucent watercolors?
Too bad your site dont accept paypal or my Visa electron ..its a straight deal for me ... :/. If there is any other way pls let me know. Looks like great vid
Enjoy your Webby, shit's in the bag.
what's the practical application for tiny heads?
tiny bodies?
'Scuse me, transparent.
Its a pure shame that you charge money for educating us. I would probably be correct in saying your american, because only the USA likes to charge for education on such an absurd level.
acidstar11, it costs money to hire the artists, the materials, the photographers, the editors, and everyone who puts these video tutorials together. Without money from our subscribers, we wouldn't be able to produce any lessons at all. - David
