I’m working on a 1/16 scale Roman Centurian and I’m stumped as to how to paint arm hair on him. The issue I have is the quick drying time of acrylics and the inability to load small enough amounts of paint on my brush so as not to have it pool up to any degree. If I go to dry off a bit of excess paint on a tissue, it just makes it harder as the paint always seems to dry before I can get more than one or two attempts to get ANY paint to adhere. I don’t know if surface tension is a factor here or not but there’s gotta be some easier method of getting realistic looking arm/leg/facial hair.

"crustasche" we call it "moppefjun" in swedish. :D
It means "Moped fluff" because teenage boys are allowed to drive mopeds around the same time they start getting beard, so you see theese wannabe cool boys with fluffy hairs on their chins or lips.
