I just got the Riverside for our College podcast! I love it so user friendly and captioning is a breeze. I noticed you used the Blackmagic camera for some of the Riverside tutorials. Can you please do a tutorial about your setup with that camera?
That's great to hear! And the BlackMagic you see in the video drop down is actually the ATEM switcher. I have a video on that here! ruclips.net/video/Uhiq33zkrz4/видео.htmlsi=DG7bT5m563DVk1m4
great video, what would be your solution for toggling between remote or in house guests speaking? Currently using a black magic ATEM set up with cameras but considering going to all iPhones, would you have a solution for that if having multiple guests and limited editing ability?
You can use our hide / show guest feature to "switch" live, but those hidden won't be recorded during that time. Otherwise, you can use HDMI out with an adapter for the mobile devices and go into the ATEM Mini Pro as well.
Quick question for someone who wants to get into podcasting: If I am interviewing a remote guest, where do I see them through, the monitor on top or would that be from my laptop? Also, what do you use to connect to your remote guest? Something like zoom? Or does Riverside do that for you as well? Sorry, all of this stuff is a lot to take in for a newbie such as myself!
Amazing creativity. Can monitoring help me when using a continuity camera on laptop? Eye contact look weird when looking at my guest on lower right macbook screen, while being filmed by continuity cam 😂 looks like I’m drunk or something. To boil It down: How do I make camera eye contact while still looking at my guest 👀
Great question, and unfortunately Continuity Camera disables the iPhone screen entirely. The most effective way to accomplish good eye contact is a teleprompter style setup, I show that here: ruclips.net/video/moKMEIqHQKs/видео.htmlsi=hx48qpBXFe0YQCTJ
damn, the moment tripod mount is currently unavailable. That didn't help. That's always a problem with posting links to amazon stuff on RUclips. The link is usually dead shortly after the video is posted.

No worries! You would use Riverside for the call and you would see both your and their video on your computer
@ thank you so much, I appreciate it !
Stephen always a great job! We got the same professional set up to interview out traders.
Appreciate that! And awesome to hear!
Is it possible to connect the advanced setup cage to a tripod? If so, which tripods are compatible?
You can! Any tripod will work, but you may need a plate adapter
We just tried Riverside with Stephen. Great experience!
Loved being on the show!
Do you show options for using a galaxy phone or an android phone? Thank you.
We do have an Android app, and will do a tutorial on it soon!
Wow this is so impressive!!
Appreciate that!
Nice rig, just missing an external drive for storing highres video files.
Typically that's a great setup, but with Riverside the 4K high-res video files are uploaded to the cloud so no need to store locally!
