- This video documents my incredible experience at an LGBTQ+ men’s retreat in Wicklow, Ireland.
It’s a special place where LGBTQ+ men of all backgrounds come together and connect with each other finding inner peace and healing along the way.
The course is run by the fabulous James and Sean who are experienced practitioners of many holistic rituals, health and well-being practises and therapy.

Mark, how wonderful,. Watching you change from day one to the last day your face became lighter and less worried and stressed. How beautiful the surroundings and connecting with nature and the LGBTIQ+ men. It was lovely it bought tears to my eyes, keep being yourself as it should be.❤
Hey thank you so much this is a beautiful observation. Actually I noticed my skin actually kind of broke out and became quite tired looking throughout the trip. This happened the first time I went too. Also afterwards for about a week I feel exhausted. A lot of the guys feel the same. All the tension just dissipates and we totally break down all our stress it’s amazing. It’s a full body experience.

It’s so heartwarming to see men being affectionate to one another. I occasionally feel so sad about the toll toxic masculinity has taken on men’s ability to be physically supportive of one another, due in part to awful homophobic rhetoric. People are unfortunately taught to believe in too many things that actually hurt them. Happy to see you getting some therapeutic time away! You looked warmly happy there. And the comments here from some of the other attendees only illuminated that that warmth was shared all around 😌

You are NEVER 'too much' - thank you for taking us on this amazing journey through your visit to that beautiful location. I'm so happy you have found a place of refreshing and renewal, so many wonderful and positive things going on there.
