Nailor got to be are 3 when Adison comes back. We could go 5 wide at times. We got speedy wide R all over our depth.
That extra effort by Nailor is my favorite play of the season so far. It may still be at the end of the year.

Bynum was everywhere this game. He is still the most underrated Safety in the league. If I was the Vikings I’d hurry and pay the man before he hits free agency next season. And as a fan I pray they do. Him plus Smith plus Van G gives us 3 players that somehow are everywhere at all times

I became a Vikings fan when MIN beat the Montana Niners in the '87 Divisional.
Let them keep doubting the Vikes. We had great free agency gets along with a good draft. GM Kwesi is cooking and pieces are coming together. Plus 2nd full year of DC Flores’ scheme. I was excited during the summer and felt we have a better team. And so far so good. But it’s very early and the team needs to stay healthy and keep improving. SKOL!!

I could not believe the Vikes did not try to sign him when he became a free agent the first two times. Always thought it would be worth having him as a backup or possibly like what seems to be happening currently with his success!
It finally helps to have a line that protects him for more than 2 seconds.
Just remember Dobbs had two good games and Vikes fans wanted to sign him to a 10 year contract. It's nice seeing Darnold playing good football but us Vikes fans will jump on any glimmer of hope even if it's a game or two worth.

That was a pretty impressive TD pass from Darnold to Jefferson. He launched that thing from about 3 yards in the endzone. It traveled about 55 yards through the air on target. Very impressive.

I said it at the time...Jets should have never given up on Darnold. It wasn't his fault that the roster was barren, and he played for one of the worst coaching staffs in recent history.

Not trying to dimmish the play, but from the replay angle they showed live, both defenders that had their backs to the QB and never even knew the pass was coming. Still a good throw and good placement but is wasn't as close as that view made it seem.

I love how this felt like a sort of clash of titans between a reigning conference champion and a team with Sam Darnold. Darnold has been hot as hell these first two weeks.
I see why Darnolds keeps getting a shot. Seemed to process things fairly well. good decisions, decent wheels.....would be interesting to see him play really well for the entire season.
I truly think his season with Shannahan and Griese helped improve his processing and it's continuing with O'Connell. He's being rehabilitated from all the nasty Jets/Panthers SMELL that was emanating from him throughout his career.

Aaron Jones even with his fumbling issues is a nice addition as a slashing all purpose threat. Expect good things from him in this offense. And the OL is solid. Darrisaw and O'Neill are underrated bookend tandem.

From a Chiefs fan, Derek Carr has consistently been solid, so it's not surprising that he's doing well. I'm not surprised Baker is doing well either. The Browns screwed him over by making him play injured and then tossed him aside going after Groper Cleveland. No QB would succeed on the Panthers and the Rams were injured to hell when he was with them.
Sam Darnold is the real surprise. He's not blowing the doors off or anything, but he looks better than I've ever seen him.
