Thanks for watching friends - please excuse the rough audio, the mic died on this episode!
We hope you enjoy the great lesson anyway! 👍
just found this page. I used to go fly fishing with my Papa (grandfather) around once a year. He passed in 2022 and left his gear to my cousin and me and i’ve been going a lot so far this summer. these videos have helped me learn a lot and remember those great memories with my grandfather. thank you for helping me to keep his love of the sport alive.
@@SoppingSock Thanks for watching and happy to help. Stay tuned!
Brian, thanks. These videos are really helpful. I appreciate how you take these advanced concepts and explain them simply so even inexperienced fly fishers like me can understand the ideas and quickly improve our skills.
@@tomfitzgibbon6691 Thanks for watching.
All I can say is: Great info. I can't wait to see the next episodes in the series -- so hurry up!
@@KevinJohnson-ge5xs Stay close!
I watched all your fly fishing tutorials during lockdown and they thought me how to fly fish during covid so thanks 👍👍
@@LeroyMcEvoy Thanks for being here.
Thanks Brian your videos are awesome. I have learned a ton from your wisdom. Makes this Michigan guy wish I lived in Ohio. Thanks.
Thanks for watching.
Yeah you talk a lot about leaders, and I listen and learn every time 👍🏼
@@DC_J Thanks for being here!
I’ve watched all of them, some multiple times, and i can say this is no longer a MINI series.
5th episode?
Let me go rewatch them all again and I’ll let you know how many episodes you have devoted to leaders. 😂 keep them coming!
Love all you videos, keep up the great work😁😁
@@cooperlee3662 Thanks for watching. As long as folks keep supporting the shop, we’ll keep making videos.
Great video, key information. Such a wonderful series.
@@pbp6741 Thanks so much and please stay tuned. The best is yet to come!
This is the second video in a row I have seen from you guys with an editing goof.
Out of nearly 850 videos....that's not bad.....eh? The techincal issues here are explained in the video description by the way. Had some issues this particular day. This won't be the last one either....he filmed about a dozen videos that day.
@@Madriveroutfitters it wasn't a diss, just a heads up in case you missed it
@@scots2129 Thanks for looking out!!! We appreciate it.
Thank you!
Thanks for watching.
Ok you finally sold me on contact leaders. The language of saying same stiffness is what I’ve been looking for. As a primary smallmouth fisher which I mainly fish poppers I used a straight 5-6ft section of 15lb fluro. It’s 1X diameter.
@@bChipps Thanks for being here. Stay tuned and he’ll explain exactly what to do. What you are using is just tippet…..not a leader. He has many videos where he explains that is horribly wrong.
@bChipps a popper is a dry fly that is non-contact.
@@johnbennett1162 except it’s the literal exception you strip it in like a stream you are not looking for a drag free drift like with regular dry flies
@@johnbennett1162 How does it pop…..with Contact.
@@Madriveroutfitters @bChipps I’ve always understood contact to be direct connection from rod tip to fly with no line laying on the water surface at all times. How are you defining contact?
Great stuff!!
I’ve started calling it the “butter” section because it provides a smooth transition.
@@johnbennett1162 Nice! Will pass along to Brian. He’ll like that.
Guy’s are the best🤙

helpful as always 👍 👍

Audio is odd. This isn’t Brian. This is Robot Brian lol
Hah, Brian and the editor had a laugh over the audio on this video. Check out the pinned comment at the top on this video, unfortunately we had an audio mishap and did the best we could to save it! Thanks for being here friend.
How can I not access you web page. I am in Scotland.
Web page is working well on our end!
There’s definitely something up with the audio on this and at 7.01 an error has been left in! Just a heads up to the editor!
Good catch on the 7:01 - Check out the pinned comment at the top on this video, unfortunately we had an audio mishap and did the best we could to save it! Thanks for watching, friend!
Shame about the mic dying... How did you fix it? is this an AI voice??
Thanks for watching and sorry for the technical issues. Not AI....just not the quality we are used to.
Audio is bad
@@ambrot724 as stated! Please read the Descriptions of the video and the reason is explained. Thanks!
