That poor female pilot who was helpless after landing and her plane was ablaze. Door wouldn't open.
[BTW]: Paul Walker has no reason to feel like a failure. He tried his best.
That was devastating 😢
I thought you meant the other Paul Walker and I was really confused.
But she could have tried getting out from the window.. and he could have helped her...
@@mehakmujeeb8531 theres like a rope in the cockpit but it will take some time tho bc is little hard to do
@@thekraken1173 me too..
Paul Walker must have had nightmares after that incident. What a legend though. Even though he didn’t save everyone, he tried his best. Mad props my guy.

I don’t think many people quite comprehend just how incredible the DHL landing in Baghdad was. Not only did they have no control. They also had part their left wing blown off, with the rest of it on fire
Yes. I felt like I was sitting in that pilot's seat myself wrestling with the yoke with the plane not responding to me. The feeling of just hanging on while believing that your best may not be enough must have been crushing. But he hung on and made an almost impossible landing.
Didn’t they also land in a field full of unexploded mines and they had to be carefully cordoned off the terrain by walking in a track made by a tank?
Yes they did well. Very well.
@@fluffy-fluffy5996 according to an article I found, yes. They got out and we’re trying to run from the plane when they were yelled at to stop.
That must’ve been fun, gauging the risk of the plane exploding vs stepping on a mine...
People made a fbctualy accurate and awesome movie about US Airways flight 1549 & Captain Sully.... If you ask me the DHL crew NEEDS the same treatment, and ASAP!
Even though that second accident ended in tragedy, Paul Walker and the other pilot on the ground are heroes 👏 They did all they could to save lives in a incredibly dangerous situation and risked their own lives without any thought of the consequences. I hope they both realise that, but especially Paul Walker, because he shouldn't feel like a failure and he deserves to be recognised for his efforts
The first one is so sad because the pilots knew that they were dying in a few seconds. :(
Yes it is
I hope there has technology to solve the problem...

14:14 that PSA pilot's last words makes me sad
It also makes me sad. I even cried when he said "Mom, I love you".
*"mom I love you"*
I was in 3rd grade at McKinley Elementary and saw the PSA 182 plane go down. It crashed a half mile away at the end of one of the streets from my school. Just watching the video brought back a lot of memories and feelings. It was a terrible day and many days after.
That was a horrible crash
thats scary :0
My dad was in a 7-11 on Texas street not to far from you , I was at our home in Mira Mesa and was 11 years old !! Ill never forget that day , I'm glad it missed McKinley !!!!!!!!!
@Chaz It didn't really affect me aside from nightmares of plane crashes now and then, but when I had my first child... yeah. That's when the fear of flying set in. I still hate flying, but I can get on a plane with a little bit of anti-anxiety drug, fly only in the mornings when the turbulence is less and have to be on the aisle.
@@michaeldailey7103 yes, had the pilot not basically nosed dived the plane it would have taken out more of the houses and possibly the school. I just remember the entire school lined up on the sidewalk, looking down the street at the massive fire. St. Augustine High School was then used as a temporary morgue and I had to go past that every day. Forty one years later and I can still see it. I prefer road trips lol
I swear being a pilot is one of (if not the most) stressful jobs ever, I mean you have to land a machine which weighs countless tons and if you make one wrong move everyone on board could experience the last, terrifying, moments of their lives. R.I.P to everyone who has died.
that’s why they are paid as much as they are
@@richie_mcgravy_micchilli_v4thapparently some say its not that much but there are some rumours around that their pay would increase generally over the years to come, which ji hope it really does.

Yeah they are heros! Probebly saved a lot of expensive cargo and saved the plane and there lives!

The funny thing about that crash was it careened off the runway and in to an area with land mines... I’m not joking

@@poopscholar1891 I would shoot it down
Imagine seeing two fighter jets outside the airplane windows because the airplane wheel didn't drop properly?
This is very sad, but the people who disliked are the people who are scared of planes. I hope all the people who died are in heaven.
Yea this sad R.I.P
Not necessarily. For some people, it might just feel kind of off-putting to “like” a video with death and suffering, as it seems like you’re “liking” what’s happening.

What's the problem of being scared of planes

27:28 i almost cry because of the flower
That brave man who tried to open the door. As someone who has been in life threatening situations, I think we don't give enough credit to heroes who tried their best but fate was not with them that day. He did an amazing job and should feel very at peace that he stepped up and did all he could.
Pauls face after he took “they knew that I was there last hope” was so heartbreaking.
Man the california collision was so sad the fist officers last words where "ma I love ya" imagine the mother finding out her son died man rest in peace

@LIAM PINEDA RODRIGUEZ oh ok

So apparently no one in the comments is going to mention that a bunch of people died in these crashes and say,"first" like I care.
I know right. They're not even saying anything that relates to the actual video, because they didn't even watch the full video.
Oversensitive much? As if mentioning the deadbeats will bring them back 🙄🤯
@@Seri-Katil Pretty sure they didn't mean it like that. Just people died in these crashes, and instead of saying anything like: "first" they could say something that relates to the video. Most of the time they haven't even watched the video though.
Ikr also hi Harrison!
@@Seri-Katil Not oversensitivity, just acknowledgement that compassion is a trait seemingly lost on humanity.
Every so often, I find myself thinking it would be kinda neat to learn to fly a plane. Then I watch a couple of these videos and I says to myself: "No, nope, nada, no way, uh uh....not doing it."
These are so addicting to watch!
Watching them right now cause I can't fly anywhere during quarantine.
Addicting to see people die?
@@rucka7767 No. These clips aren't showing how people died. They're presenting how the crash happened, and that is the thing that interests me. 😐

6:20 She could have easily gotten out that window with room to spare
agreed
That’s what I thought too.
why didn't the lady pilot jump out of the window of the plane? was the window too small or was the fall too dangerous?
That’s exactly what I said but I guess the window was too small...otherwise I’d have taken the possible spinal injuries over being burned alive.....
Based on the reenactment she could have fit through it
That's what I thought too since the pilots can go through the emergency window in the cockpit, unless it was blocked by something
Really glad you added why the plane crashed in the first video.

How did that pilot of the Air France Airbus 320 not see the forest? He's acting like the forest snuck up on him and blind sided him!

The last worda by the pilot : Mom I love you that were emotional .😭
why 9/11 always gotta be the day something horrible and heartbreaking happens
The best video!
I’m glad that the DHL Crew managed to land, but they skidded off the runway and they dropped enough speed, so they didn’t get an injury.
The one where pilot said”I love you ma” knowing they weren’t gonna make was sad
My (American) cousin barely dodged a ground to air missile in Saudi Arabia, back in the early 80s, while flying the Bin Laden family’s business jet .. Was a well paying job, but that scared him enough to come back to the states to get a job with a major carrier. I always wondered if Osama was one of his passengers, but it would have been before the black sheep of the family broke bad.
That’s one hell of a story! It’s unlikely Osama was there, he became a mujahiddin in Afghanistan after the 1979 soviet invasion.
@@davidnavarro4821 I still have their fancy Bin Laden company brochure from around 1980/81 , posted a couple shots of it on my imgur account.
It’s very possible Osama was still there, or back and forth between Afghanistan and Saudi Arabia during that time. His first documented trip to Afghanistan wasn’t until 1984, though he claims he went there earlier.

That DHL landing was as epic as the landing on the Hudson. To land a plane on fire after hit my a missile missing part of the wing is nothing short of incredible and I wonder how many pilots could have pulled that off
