    The Spanair Flight 5022 scared/scarred me the most, they could have all survived if the hill wasn’t there. They were extremely unlucky and I feel bad for everybody involved.

      @@kirilmihaylov1934 I assume that you meant to say 'how'. And it's because the LAM crash happened before the Germanwings flight. Had the safety measures been implemented, it could have prevented the Germanwings crash from happening. However, since the accident happened in Africa, it didn't get the same kind of attention as it might have elsewhere and airlines didn't make the changes.

    the bank angle system should tell the pilots which way to turn

    • @moiraatkinson
      @moiraatkinson Год назад

      It cannot really. It doesn’t know which way - it doesn’t necessarily sound when disaster is imminent. It’s only warning the pilots that they’ve exceeded the normal limits of a plane’s bank angle when it’s carrying passengers. The pilots are going to know which way to turn if a turn is needed. Sometimes the flaps may be needed and a nose down attitude to escape a stall and spiral. It’s rather like suggesting the EGPWS tells the pilots how to pull up.
