"Seein grass, ten feet below me. And I knew....that wasn't good."
Quite the understatement my mate.
Go around..... NO, says the overconfident captain. Lesson of the day: Overconfidence is bad for pilots....
He also didn’t trust the FO’s abilities.
Bad in general.
While I agree the captain should have been ignored, there was a lot of pressure on the pilots from UPS to get the deliveries on the ground, on time. The longer the plane is in the air, the more fuel they waste and the longer their trucks have to wait, which means stuff isn't being delivered. The company definitely holds a share of the blame.
😂
@@ponchowizard5182 what has UPS to do with this passenger flight?
9:11
The co-pilot in heaven with the pilot
*"I told you so.."*
9:31 That crash could’ve been prevented had the aviation industry paid better attention to the crash of LAM Mozambique Flight 470. That’s really the worst part. The cause of those two crashes are almost completely the same and experts agree it could’ve prevented Germanwings.
Yeah. But this happen in third world country so it gain little media attention
@@Interdictiondeltawing And that is what angers me the most.
Same thing with SilkAir 185 and EgyptAir 990, but those involved nations that happen to be mostly Muslim, and there is a large taboo towards suicide in Islam, and those two accidents are mostly disputed.
@@Powerranger-le4up generally, people in west assume that third world and second world technicians are not well trained and mostly likely bought the certificate through corruption as such aircraft maintained outside the west tend to be maintained poorly with neglect according to some assumption. It is only natural, people in the west would ignore the report.
@@Teochewtuahang It almost happened in the United States (my home) in 2012. Fortunately, the copilot realized something was wrong and was able to trick the captain.
Emily Selke was a passenger, along with her mother on the germanwings plane. It takes on a whole new meaning when someone close to your family is on a flight like that.
That must be horrifying.
The more plane crashes i watch the more i want to be a pilot
i just can't explain this
My GrandChildren too.He want to be a pilot next time..In Philippine Airlines..
My GrandChildren too.He want to be a pilot next time..In Philippine Airlines..
Same here kinda but I’d rather be an air traffic controller ...
Aircrafts are the best inventions of human beings. Those who want to be pilots do not hesitate, even though we may one day end up in air crash investigation.
I feel the same way lol
Bro just imagine being a passenger on a plane that is going to crash, you cannot do anything. And you can see the ground getting closer and closer as you brace for impact.
Titanado. No point in screaming. Just remember the things you loved most.
I've been lucky walked away from 2 disasters that killed others. I remember thinking about the things I loved most.
Which 2?
@@barbaradyson6951 god has a shield around u bra
Quick death is better for rather than survived with permanent impact
Like you said, nothing you can do. Hopefully the conscience just turns off and you feel nothing
the crash on the french alps are very horrified
co-pilot has suicidal thoughts.
He even tried to do that in earlier flight
9:11 imagine the pilots survived and what the co-pilot would have said to the captian
lets say the captain would become another casualty even if he survived
@@ConcordeError404 lmao
If they survived:
Co-pilot: i told you go around
Captain: sorry i just didn't know we needed to
Co-pilot: we're definitely gonna get fired from our jobs
Captain: yeah we will
Co-pilot: it's because of your fault
Captain: next time i will agree if i still have my job
Co-pilot: okay good but uh what do we do now we're injured AND crashed
Captain: lets just hope a miracle happens
*"Brace for impact"? Hell no. Hold your arms up like on a roller coaster. Go out in style!*
💀💀
You crazy
And smoke ‘em if ya got ‘em….
This is when I ask my wife to hold my beer. 🤣
Woo Hoo... Yeah Baby. 😂
"The supersonic marvel of modern aviation.....(pilot grunts)...(explosion blasts).....slams into an airport hotel"
25:37 And that was the day, aviation would stop evolving forever, rest easy Concorde
Now there's Son Of Concorde to carry on the legacy.
*Plane turns to the left* Captain: "What the heck!"
There appears to be an error, the crash was of the CONCORD,yet they showed the 'damaged' DROOP cable, when in fact the crash was caused by a piece of metal which had fallen for an American Jumbo jet which had taken off prior to Concord's take, someone has got the story mixed up surely?Check this one out it's a serious mistake. Terry Offord
I believe you may have mistaken Concorde's crash for the crash after it.
I feel like flying is safer when nothing goes wrong but when it does your screwed
Love these recaps just like the movies
Such losses are the reason why flying is safer than driving. RIP
Yeah but In a crash scenario, driving is still much safer lol
@@mattysheehan9786 i agree, i don’t see how being in a car that’s on the ground is safer than being on a plane high up in the sky..
0:43 Who smokes at a jet fuel-soaked crash site?
Apparently, she does.

👍
Germanwings flight, the people must have been terrified, I hope it was quick at the end. No one deserves to die at the hands of a mentally ill pilot. RIP

The last thing you want to here on a plane is:

These reconstructions are something else.
What even ironic is that this video is uploaded during some live stream marathon
9:31 is the saddest for me because better attention to LAM Mozambique Flight 470 could’ve prevented it.

wow im 20 minutes early 🤩
This accident was a massive breakdown of communication.,between parties.
I have see all this plane crashes and on the second i was there too
34:02 Whats that in the engines?
9:31 is cool part
2:27 the captions spelled wales wrong
16:46 you can see the cause of the Spanair accident.
Where
It was because human mistake + mechanical problems. The plane had some problems with sensors before going to the runway. The pilot should take off with flaps and slats off, but he didn't tho. The computer didn't show any alert regarding that issue so they thought everything was good but the aircraft wasn't ready for take off
It’s so sad that crashes happend but it’s fixes it so it doesn’t happen again
In the case of Germanwings, it actually could’ve been prevented had the crash of LAM Mozambique Flight 470 received better attention.
Of you ever wonder, the main reason for most plane crashes is human mistake.
Why so many mistake, you’ll ask? The Dunning-Kruger effect
What do you mean?
Romantic death they both held hands
I always shut the blind n hope it's a successful flight.
- No, no, no hold the glide.
If your stalling take your hands off the yolk for a few seconds and then pull up
true
So opening scene...top dude says to junior.. who just came to this air accident inquiry from department store employee...top dude says " rope it off... keep the press away.."...???!!!???!!!???!!!!
Imagine paying $9000 to die in a flaming plane wreck. Yikes
The crash was concerning the CONCORD which left the French airport AFTER take off in front of Concord had lost a metal component from it, (The 747) the story was incorrect since the crash of CONCORD was caused by metal scrap, having fallen from the preceding 747, onto the runway, Concord hit that on take off, the metal compont which had fallen from the 747 punctured the fuel tanks on the Concord. This was absolutely the case, it appears someone who compiled this show has mixed up the aircraft. Terry Offord, Retired Air Traffic Controller.
@@terryofford4977 im that metal componet is from a dc-10

number 2 scares me because in 1971 i was in a KLM flight from NY/ to holland to israel!!!
Why no explanation why they crashed?
😢
Just do a YT search for the flight number. This is just an intro.

WHY WOULD YOU SHOW US THE DEAD BODIES??
Flying is safer than driving i think thats on 50 50 couse no body is perfect theres all ways risk ..
Yes, I also think because I've seen so many crashes
Hate the cut short versions I want to see the entire story start to finish like Wonder or air disaster
Then do a YT search for the flight number. This is just meant to be an introduction. 😇👍

Is it just me or my mans let the whole plane crash gazing into ole dudes eyes when he could’ve let his hand go n took control of the plane 🤦🏽♀️😂 I can’t be the only one who ain’t find that a lil fruity

pan pan pan crash crash crash

Ok in the one where the idiot pilot said hold the glide, you could literally see the trees. Why would the firs officer (who is kinda cute btw) just say ok?
in some cockpits it’s a power hierarchy the captain had been with the company for years whilst the first officer had only been there for one year so although he was right in his thoughts I think he probably didn’t want to argue against someone who was senior to him even if they were wrong
that is clear Scottish and I can tell from the accent
Love your vids.

Lots of arrogance in KLM.
crappy compilation.
