I have the 2022 Silverado LTZ limited with 6.2 and MaxTow and love it…it’s a great truck. The only issue is that I wish GM had a bigger gas tank on the 1/2 trucks especially for us that tow!!

Just bought a 2022 LTD instead of waiting for the 2022 refresh in spring. I really agree with the interior clusters and center radio area looking nice on the 2022 refresh; but I just cannot drive a pickup truck with a console shifter. To me the shifter belongs on the steering column on a pickup truck (unless it's a manual). With the 2022 refresh you can only get a column shifter if you get a bench front seat without the full center console; and i just hate the look of a center console with a shift knob the size of a piston head taking up 40%+ of the center console space.
Had chevy stuck with the column shifter with the updated interior and full center console; I definitely would have waited for the refresh.

I feel you there; I agree that I don't like them going to that center console shifter for many reasons. If the dealership gives me a heck of a trade in on my 21 I may have to get the refreshed 22 though even still! 😅 I just love that interior redesign so much and the exterior isn't too different that I still like it.

Man I have a 20 trailboss, I noticed dash looks like it will crack in year 6, meanwhile my 96 s10 dash cracked at year 18. I love the 6.2 but gas us ridiculous . I'm thinking about going to 22 at4 diesal. Better on gas

@@jtob5032 sweet! None at all. I installed the Pulsar LT when I first got the truck. Shutting off the DFM as soon as possible helps the lifters from collapsing and bending pushrods (in my opinion).

@@ordinary_arkansan I have read up about the Pulsar and it looks great, however for that money I can get it tuned and have the DFM turned off. Unfortunately the dealer can't guarantee me a warranty on the lifters if I do have it tuned/turn off DFM. Kind of annoying. Oh well. Keep us updated with any problems.. I'll sub to your channel.
