Epiphone is releasing the Riviera, Coronet, Wilshire, Casion LE Nancy Wilson Fanatic, Crestwood models as soon as Oct. 30, 2020. Others will come out in mid January.

I just got a Casino Coupe and it’s awesome! I had Gibsons before, but this is my first Epiphone, and since I remember how bad they used to be 20 years ago I was skeptical at first, but as soon as I got it in my hands: man, it was perfect!

Ive always liked the Coronet, so knowing that theyre reissuing it, gives me hope for the future of possible ownership.
I just bought an Epiphone Coronet made in China (Cherry Red) This was my first guitar back in 1960, I sold it and missed it so much I had to grab this reissue. I've never owned a guitar made in China until this one. I took the guitar apart to do a setup and found all quality. CTS pots, quality wiring, all mahogany body (the body is a two piece) Frets are larger and smooth and the routing was as clean as it can get. I did change the bridge out for my 1970 Leo Quan Badass bridge and also put a spacer under the P90 to get it closer to the strings. The guitar plays and sounds great for a single P90 axe. Craftsmanship is excellent

I saw that they're coming out with a Rivera if you dig the casino,, it's like a 335 but with mini-hums

I tend towards 2 pick ups for range of tone, but the Coronet looks awesome and a single p90 would be cool to review vs the LP special in terms of range

I would go with the 2 pickup version of the coronet. The one pickup is cool too. That American epi casino is real cool.

That high end Epi is a US made model, that's why it's as pricey as it is! Great vid. :)

Retro-Palooza gets! As far as bang for the buck goes; I JUST received my new Gretsch Electromatic Double Cut G5222 yesterday. I'm floored that I got SOOOO much guitar for $500! These are truly happy days for guitar players.

I'm going to order the cherry Wilshire tomorrow, or today rather. I have the Wilshire Pro, in Artic White, changed out the tuners to Grover's, new Tusq nut, Graphtech bridge, CTS pots and Seymour Duncan SPH90 Phat Cat P90 pickups. Got it for $200.00 with a hard case from GC last year, man what a guitar, one of my better players actually. I love my Gibson DC, but the Wilshire will hang with it easy and then some.
I watched videos and I'm hearing the new Wilshire's come with a bone nut, and CTS pots, and if true, Kluson tuners, I'm expecting copies, but guess I'll find out.

@@guitarmovies my AMS must be broken, I don’t see them on the site. And yes I have the new epiphone Firebird. It sound nice. And I bet it would sound even better if someone who really knew how to play, played it
I wished they would have made them in the U. S, just like they used to do, but I’m so happy that they made the Casinos in the U.S.
I wouldn’t be surprised if they added more USA models in the future in limited numbers.
If they made all of them in the US, they would charge 3 or 4 times as much.....
And then people would be mad they weren’t $399

I’d go with the Coronet in ebony. The Casino is cool but may as well buy a Gibson at that price.
This epi casino will play just as good as the Gibson if not better. These are original Epiphone guitars, not Gibson’s
Own a 2014(I think) wilshire, had to upgrade couple things but the sustain and light weight is perfect. But USA casinos could increase in value🤷🏻♂️
Epiphone did make a USA made wilshire back in 09 and it’s going around the same price as the casinos.
Just an update, the Wilshire p90 and Coronets are off the website for AMS. I think they were accidentally leaked.

I would get the Less expensive casino I think they go for $649 and swap out the pick ups and put Gibson P 90s and then you’d have a bad ass guitar
It looks like the Coronet is in stock now. You should sell the Fender that you haven't connected with and get one of the Epi's
